White Eagle auto body (Naperville shop) replaced my bumper in 2015. They ordered a brand new…read morebumper and painted it to match my truck. The salesman told me that it would last as long as I owned the truck and would never rust. After the new bumper was installed and I was getting ready to pay and leave the shop, they handed me a written warranty that specifically excluded rust damage. I informed the manager that potential rust damage should be covered/included in the warranty because the salesman had previously told me that it would be covered. The salesman was part of this conversation and he confirmed what I stated, which is that the bumper would never rust (because of superior paint job from White Eagle). The manager then added a hand-written note to the printed warranty page which stated "Paint warranty on bumper for life time" and he also added his signature. Well, guess what, 10 years later and the bumper is terribly rusted. It literally has large holes in it as the rust chewed right thru it.... So much for the "superior paint job" that White Eagle would provide..... But the worst part about it is that when I called their shop to discuss the "life time paint warranty" I could not get the manager to even return my call. After several non-returned phone calls I decided to visit the shop and at that point I was able to meet the manager (Chris) who informed me that White Eagle would never cover the rust damage. Of course I showed him the hand-written note for "life time paint warranty" but it didn't sway him in any way and he simply stated that they would never cover it. I asked him to make a copy of the hand-written life-time warranty and show it to the owner and requested that the owner call me to discuss, but I never heard from the owner. Summary: they will tell you whatever they need to say as part of the initial sale but later on when there is an issue their word means nothing. They won't return your calls and they won't honor their previous promises.

This review specifically refers to the one that deals with progressive and I'm pretty sure it's the address 801 (actually it's 701!!!), but when it all comes down to it I'm sure the service between the two is completely identical. On January 3rd the new decade was off to a great start when I walked outside and saw that someone had did a hit and run on my car. They damaged the left side of the rear end and left a decent dent. My auto insurance company sent me to Caliber Collision, I brought my car in that Tuesday and they analyzed the damages with me. They told me everything that would have to be replaced etc, just gave me the full details of what they will be doing to my car. Great professionalism from the very beginning. I believe my car was ready around Jan 15th, or somewhere around the date. It took them about a week and a half to fix my car, and when I picked it up they even gave it a car wash and vacuumed the carpet in the passenger seat area. My friends were in my car for the new year and the carpet was a little dirty from all the snow/ ice/ salt etc. so I really appreciated the extra mile they went to vacuum my carpets. What I also enjoy about this company is how they are partnered with Enterprise, so when you drop your car off with them someone from Enterprise will pick you up, so you can rent a car. Overall phenomenal service, the only criticism I have is they are not very upfront about how much the repairs will cost. I didn't know until it was time to pay. The repairs came out to about $2,300 (ish). Quite frankly, in my case it really doesn't matter. I paid the $500 deductible and Progressive handled the rest. Which is why you should ALWAYS drive with insurance. I'm sure the person who did a hit and run on my car didn't have insurance . Jokes on them, they can drive around town with a battered dent up car; however as for me my standards are too high for that. ESPECIALLY since I'm paying a car note. There will be no dents on my car, none. A big thanks to Caliber Collision for helping me out and providing the most exceptional service. They have really raised the bar. They emailed me a soft copy but also printed it out and went over everything they came across without talking down to me. It probably took around an hour for them to inspect the car, but there's a nice waiting area to get some coffee and water. It's hard finding a trustworthy place and is reasonably fast. I'm glad there are auto shops like this that can restore my trust and faith in these places.

I am a first time customer to Boyce Body Werks and I must say that I'm floored with the level of professionalism from the staff, the quality of work, and attention to detail they provide. My repair was minor but that did not affect the way Boyce's staff handled my needs. From the moment they estimated my car, to picking it up when it was done, they made sure I was happy and informed throughout the process. I had a minor dent made (size of a dime) from someone opening their door without looking and I honestly expected Boyce to service only the effected area. Surprisingly, they went above and beyond my expectations. Not only were my repair needs met but Boyce cleaned my car inside and out. I'm not talking about just a wash and wipe down. They vacuumed and cleaned my interior, getting into every crevice and hard to reach area. They also washed and polished my vehicle but the thing that really blew me away, other than their outstanding customer service, was the cleaning and polishing of my rims. That in it of itself is something I hate doing and will gladly pay someone to do. A tremendous thank you to all the staff at Boyce but especially Amy B. for all her help. Amy is model individual of what it means to be someone who cares and is nothing less than professional, thank you Amy! I truthfully enjoyed my experience that it swayed me to create a yelp profile and will recommend Boyce to anyone in need of a spectacular body shop but an even greater experience. P.S. My 2003 Toyota Camry has been to Boyce Body Werks in Naperville 3 times as it was rear ended twice and T-boned once, all due to drivers not attending to their driving. My first experience with Boyce was exceptional! Once I brought the insurance estimate to Joe and his team, they took care of everything. Courteous staff answered my calls and questions, and the turnaround time to get my car back was quick once parts were received. When they say "Quality is not an Accident", they mean it. My nervousness was quickly assuaged and the end result was a car that looked brand new. This set the tone for my next 2 visits.The second trip was met with honesty as it was suggested I not repair the minor damage to the bumper, especially since the driver had no insurance. This body shop is refreshingly not out to just make a buck. My most recent car accident experience was more like a battle. Lucky for me, Joe and his staff were my supportive troops as I dealt with a substandard insurance company for more than half a year trying to reach a settlement. Simple the best! I had an infuriating situation with a clear bra installation at Ztech in Naperville, where the installer put dozens of razor blade marks in the paint of my brand new car. The insurance company for Ztech paid for the damages. Joe the manager at Boyce was able get it fixed and hooked up with th clear bra installer they use who did a fantastic job! His name is Rob and he owns Design Shielding! I also ended up with a rock chip on the passenger side door of my car after driving by a travel hauler on 355. I brought it in, along with my factory touch up paint. The fixed it properly and in two steps. The guest step was sand and filled it in and clear coat. The second, I returned a few days later when the clear coat had set and they sanded buffed it out. You can't even tell it was there! They did this for literally nothing! I have dealt with the team at Boyce both personally professionally through my employment at a nearby dealership. Today, I had them work on my own vehicle. Each time I've dealt with Joe & Drew they have been extremely professional, informative and honest. My car had been involved in a hit & run which left some noticeable damage on the lower end of my rear bumper. While I didn't choose to go through insurance, I would have been willing to pay up to $1,000 out-of-pocket to get the entire bumper repainted. Joe recommended against this and instead pointed me towards a much more cost-effective solution to get rid of the damage.They had the work done exactly as Joe and Drew had stated they would, not to mention it was done ahead of schedule. I'm very particular about the condition of my cars and their quality of work is the reason I will continue to do business with them and recommend them to anybody in need of body or paint work. read more

I have a 2014 FJ Cruiser that sustained damage when I hit some black ice and slid off the road. Side of the vehicle meet a street light pole. Truck sustained significant damage, both to the right side where the doors meet and to the transmission. The Toyota dealer recommended these guys as their first choice and they were spot on with the recommendation! Picked up my truck last week and it's like new, seriously. You simply cannot tell that the truck was every involved in the accident. The paint is like I just drove off the dealer lot. All thru the process, the team was great, kept me informed and made sure to stick to fixing it right, even if it took longer than expected. These guys are proud of what they do and did everything possible to make sure that I was satisfied. Had four door dings on two doors. I took my car there and they immediately recommended paintless dent repair. The fact that they recommended a more cost effective means of repair first impressed me instead of the more costly option. Their customer service was awesome from the get go. I stopped in and they were able to fit me in for an estimtate later the same day and then schedule the repair quickly. When I dropped off my car I planned on walking home but they offered to drive me home since I lived close and then delivered my car upon completion. They worked with the insurance and there was no out of pocket cost. The repair exceeded my expectations. I can't even tell there was any damage! They returned my car clean and perfect. I decided to go to Boyce based on Yelp reviews and my neighbor who told me Boyce was recommended by her insurance company. I am so happy I did. I had an estimate from another shop, which was quickly confirmed. All details were handled with the insurance company without my having to worry about a thing. Due to a sensor issue, my car needed another day or two of work when I had a family emergency and had to go out of town. Justin took care of everything. My car was finished and looked after until my husband could pick it up a few days later. The car was repaired beautifully and was clean and shining, too! It is sadly getting more difficult to find businesses that operate with integrity and their customers' best interests at heart. I found the entire staff at Boyce to have that kind of integrity. I must have visited lots of different body shops across the city, some independently owned and some that were larger. From my experience, I can say that Boyce Body Werks is the best body shop worth going to for an estimate and any work done. I feel like none of other body shop come close to the quality service and professionalism I experienced here. Jim was honest and fair, he suggested me not go for some repairs because it was not worth the cost. They even perform some work on my car at no cost. I couldn't be more satisfied with the end result. I was in a minor accident, with some damage to my bumper and brought my car back to Boyce, which is where my dealer had recommended that I go. It could not have been a better recommendation! Boyce got me in right away for an estimate and because it was rather minimal damage, gave me the estimate the same day. They fit me in relatively quickly, and followed up with me when they needed some help with the insurance company. All really great service. The best part, however, was getting my car back. We've had the misfortune of needing their services twice over the last three months. I own an automotive mechanical repair shop and do not normally allow anyone to service my personal vehicles unless necessary i.e. body work. Boyce made my week--no, maybe my year!--yesterday, when they repaired the minivan that I sideswiped FOR FREE. Another body shop quote $2500 to do the repair and I was horrified. Then, a miracle, the dealership recommended Boyce, who did a complimentary buffing of the van, so the only cost was $10.06 for the paint. I cannot recommend Boyce enough-for their honesty, for their willingness to do complimentary work, and for how quickly they were able to get the car in and fixed. Boyce Body Works commits act of kindness! My car was tapped in parking lot, by a friend, and received some minor scratches to left bumper. Took car to Boyce Body Works, and dealt with Justin, who was very professional and conscientious. He suggested going to my car dealership to get small bottle of touch up paint, and coming back the next day, so they could buff scratches, and touch up with paint, while I waited at no charge! After doing quite a bit of research on several shops nearby, a lot of these insurance recommended shops felt like high turnover and didn't seem specialized for Lexus vehicles. I even made a point to call the nearest Lexus dealership and they recommended what felt like a random "mom n pop" shop. As a last resort, I ended up going through the Lexus website where I found Boyce was one of just a handful of Lexus certified shop in the Chicagoland area. After some initial conversations with Kyle and Josue, I could tell they were considering many different aspects of different safety features that could have been damaged from the rear impact collision. This attention to detail sold me, and although I had to wait a couple weeks to bring the car in for repairs I was convinced they wouldn't miss anything during repair. From the minute I decided to go with Boyce, it was pretty much smooth sailing. Boyce took care of any necessary correspondence needed with my insurance company, scheduled Enterprise Car rental to pick me up from the shop, and were very responsive to any calls or emails checking on status. On completion of repairs, I came in to pick up my car which looked pretty close to brand new, however I had noticed some new damage to the driver's side door which wasn't there before. Luckily, Boyce takes hi res photos of the vehicle before taking in and were able to confirm they were at fault. While it was inconvenient to have to bring my car in a second time, I'm just glad Jim was able to confirm and take care of the damages and 2nd rental vehicle. That was very professional, honest, and detail oriented. Knock on wood I don't need to ever come back for repairs, but if I do I know who to call. 'Til next time, cheers!

I was told it was in stock, then a few minutes later told it wasn't. That inconsistency was concerning, but the dismissive attitude made it worse. I was told by another the seals needed to be replaced- $345. International Auto Glass asked me to bring the car in so they could take a look. Turns out it that the brake light located at the top of the rear window was loose and allowing water inside. They tightened it down and it solved the problem. Not accusing anyone but, that possibility was even mentioned by the other two shops. On top of that, Johnny didn't want to take any money until I insisted on buying lunch for his crew.
