Lucky to find B&L Auto Body. They provide helpful service and value. Their team is professional, and does excellent repair work. Highly recommend. read more

Larry is the best. Lynette is the best - let me tell you why - I had a hit and run and the sideview mirror on the driverside got knocked off . My husband can no longer address these kind of things due to his heath Larry walked me through all the procedures - read the insurance claim - and worked everything out with them. When I dropped off the car Lynette had a pickup from Enterprise all set . Larry contacted me with an update and Lynette informed me when the car would be ready. When I picked up the car, I was able to leave the rental car as Lynette had scheduled the pick-up. Now here is the BEST part my car was beautiful when I picked it up - Larry did a SUPER job - he really has a lot of talent - all scrapes and scuffs gone. and the new mirror - matched perfectly with the car. He is very concerned about detail. Due to my inexperience I was very nervous with dealing with all this but everything went so smoothly - I would recommend B&L Auto body to everyone. read more

My girlfriend had a very unpleasant experience with this shop. She brought her car in to buffer some scrapes after getting hit. They held her car for over 3 weeks after initially saying it would take one. When she picked up her car there were still several scrapes on the car. The manager/owner berated her on the phone and was accusing her of lying. read more

B&L is an excellent business with great service. They scheduled the work, did the repairs timely and did an excellent job. The work was meticulous and I would go out of my way to use them if I need bodywork in the future. Highly recommend! read more

Honest, quality service fairly priced. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Picked up my car yesterday. It was ready in 3 1/2 days. The original estimate was 6 days. Car looks great. Excellent color match on the paint. It was a chilly day. B&L had warmed up the car before we got there. Nice touch. Thanks B&L. read more

I had a rear bumper repaired after an accident. Turned my car in on Monday and it was ready by Tuesday afternoon, looking like a new car. It's a 2014 Chevy Volt and I was impressed they got and installed the part so quickly for a car that isn't so common. When I got the car, the interior was clean and smelling good. They even left a complementary coffee mug and calendar for me. I'm very happy I trusted my car to them. They are skilled, care about service, and attend to the little details. Thank you! read more

Just wanted to give Larry and his team a shout out. We have had 4 different vehicles fixed by B and L bodyshop and by far they are the best around. Larry is upfront on how much things are going to cost and the amount of time it will take to fix your vehicle. When my car was fixed I was shocked on how good it looked for the amount of damage I caused. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs body work. I drive all the way from Shorewood to his shop. Keep up the good work read more

I got in an accident in my 1998 Honda Civic, and the insurance adjustor came back with a $2,000 estimate on repairs. As a recent college graduate who was in the process of planning his wedding, I didn't have the money to pay for that, so I put the repairs off. Eventually, I decided to go into B&L Auto Body and ask them, point blank, how much it would cost to repair the car so that it would be safe to drive on the highway. I didn't need the car to look pretty: I just needed to know if it could be repaired at a rate I could afford. It turned out that I needed a new right-side fender, a new bumper, and a new right headlamp. The hood was fixable. Still, though, the estimate was coming back higher than I was able to pay, so we decided that we'd search for cheap parts and skip painting any of the new parts. Like I said, I didn't care if it looked great: this car has a quarter-of-a-million miles on it, and it's days of beauty are probably gone. When I left B&L with an estimate, I was looking at an $800 bill for repairs that would make my car safe to drive, $1,200 less than an insurance adjustor had told me it would cost. It was a reasonable price, and I decided to have B&L do the repairs. They seemed like good, friendly, and helpful people, and I had a good feeling that they would be the job to my satisfaction. When I went into B&L a week later to pick up my car, Larry told me that his staff had decided to paint the replacement parts free of charge. It was an amazing, above-and-beyond gesture that showed how much this place cares about their customers and their work. The car looked great and drove like it had before the accident. So thanks to Larry and co. for doing something that I ton of other businesses wouldn't have, and helping out a young guy without a lot of money. read more

An auto body shop is like a plumber or dentist, you don't ever want to need one, and finding a good one is a cobra sized headache. This little mongoose needs to rethink that now. After a recent nasty collision we had, B&L took great care in picking up our vehicle, worked seamlessly with our insurance company, set a realistic completion schedule for the work, politely handled our inquiries, came in on estimate and returned a better than new, completely repaired, freshly waxed vehicle. They even reported some minor things they saw that we should take care of that weren't related to the accident. Very professional, courteous, patient and polite. Should you ever need a body shop, see if your insurance company works with these guys. read more

I found this place thanks to Yelp and even though it only had to reviews, but they were 2 good reviews! Plus the competition made me nervous...so off to B&L auto it was! I got rear ended and my car needed to be fixed up. I called them up and they told me to just take my car there and they'll take a look. I gotta say they weren't all warm and fuzzy on the phone so I was a little nervous to take my car in after that, but I trusted my instincts and went anyway. Keep in mind these guys may be a little hard to find, they are hidden in the back of a few other businesses (pretty much across the street from McDonalds so use that as a guide) and the parking lot is a little snug. I walked right in and they immediately took my info and looked at my car. I had my part ordered and I was out in 10 minutes. My part didn't come in exactly as fast as they thought but that is no fault on them, they called me when it came in and I let them know how long I would have my rental car for. They called the rental company for me and had me picked up. The best part about this place is that they are fast! I don't know if this is usual but my car was ready the very next day! My car is perfect and I even got a surprise B&L mug left in my car. It's the little things! They charged me exactly what the other insurance paid me for damages and it really was no hassle with them at all. I was really expecting something to go wrong or having to wait another week, etc. I absolutely recommend this place, they do fast, efficient and excellent work! I don't mind at all that they aren't Johnny over the top friendly, they are there to get the work done, and they do an awesome job. Also inside there are pictures of the Mayor getting his car back from this place, I mean come on if the Mayor approves who am I to disagree? read more

There is one word to describe B & L's work and service... awesome! My Pontiac G6 was recently in a rear end accident. Trying to find someone with a good reputation and great quality of work was very hard. Allstate had originally wrote up my estimate. Not really liking that repair center, I looked around and finally decided on B&L. Best decision! Larry was excellent. I was able to email him all the documentation and get an appointment. He is extremely busy so it was a couple weeks out. I dropped off the car and the lady already had an Enterprise van coming to pick me up. The front desk was more than helpful. Never once did I get any attitude and I called about every other day checking on it. The only minor bump was Allstate dragging their feet on the supplemental damage (took them over a week to approve it). But once it was approved, I had my car out of the shop in two days. It looks better than brand new. They even vacuumed and cleaned the interior. Plus I have a brand new travel mug in my console. I am so happy with their service. I will definitely recommend them to my friends who need a great body shop. Thanks again! You made my German Shepherd's weekend, knowing he has his car back to take him to the park. read more

Love their service. Their estimate was less than others, and their service was excellent. They came in under the insurance estimate, and they finished early. Everything looks great. read more

Crash, Bang, Crap! Yep, I needed to get some work done after getting rear ended. I get really stressed out whenever I have to have something repaired especially a costly repair. My expectations were really high after reading several reviews and B & L Auto Body exceeded all my expectations. The estimate for the cost of the repairs and how long it would take was spot on. They handled the entire insurance process and offered to assist getting to the rental car location. The owner Larry is hands on and takes pride in his business and the repairs were top notch. read more

I have been bringing my car here for over 20 years and never disappointed. As an experienced body man myself, this shop does excellent work!

Over 10 years myself and family has used B & L Auto Body. They're always the best, knowledgeable and workmanship is above industry standard. I've dealt with 2 other body shops when I lived in CA and had horrible experiences and wished B & L could have done it, as they do it right the first time. Larry and Lynette are professional, caring and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you for having such a trusted business, especially when it comes to the safety of my family and car. read more

this place was recommended by my insurance company so went for an estimate. worst experience of my life. owner was tired, crabby and not very excited to talk with me. went on forever about how busy he was and how he doesn't provide preliminary estimates, just parts estimates. asked him how can I be assured that his charges would be acceptable to my insurance. company. lots of double talk and he was obviously agitated that I would dare ask questions. couldn't wait to get out of there. someday when the economy levels out, these business's that abandoned customer service so shamelessly will hopefully close down. This owner is way past his useful working prime. lots of shops to choose from without being berated. run, don't walk, from this shop!. Now I know why there are no recent positive reviews for this shop! must of run out of family members... read more

B&L has fixed about every car anyone in my 8 person family has owned in the last decade and that includes personal vehicles and about 5 work trucks. We have B&L coffee mugs in at least 4 different colors floating around here. This shop has been nothing but great to all of us and we're always happy to give them more business. They have been nothing but professional, coming in on time and in budget on every project. It's absolutely amazing that my father's Lexus looks brand new after the numerous times he's had it fixed, metalic flake paint is very difficult to match up. Great body shop. read more

I wish I could rate their work because it sounds great but the lady who did my "estimate" was too busy being a rude snot to me telling me to go through my insurance...no I don't want to I want to pay out of pocket. Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot, i asked for an estimate and didn't even get one except "there's a LOT of damage to your car" uh yes I'm well aware of what happens when I get rear ended that's why I'm here getting an estimate. I'm sure Larry is awesome ad I'm glad you all had a great experience but I absolutely will never recommend anyone to this place. If I was able to give negative stars I would simply due to her unprofessional way of handling business. read more

I noticed a large hole that had rusted out under the passenger side of my Nissan Altima. I brought it by Larry around December, 2014. He gave me a quote and a possible time frame for repair...between 3 - 5 days. I finally was able to make an appointment for June because they were fully booked in May. When I brought it back in, he remembered me and the amount he quoted me. I brought it in on a Monday and asked if there was a chance to get it sooner rather than later because I was going out of town that weekend. Well, they had it done in three days and not only was it done early, they had washed the outside, cleaned the inside and left a new insulated coffee mug in my console. The price quoted was what I was charged, not a penny more. All in all, great service and it's great that I don't have a Fred Flinstone car anymore! Thanks Larry and B & L!! read more

B&L Auto body recently repaired our 2012 Ford. It had about $4000 in damage due to a side-swipe. Although the shop doesn't look as fancy as some of the 'chain-shops', they perform magic behind those doors. To date, B&L has fixed 4 of my cars. Each time, they come out looking new. read more

I brought my new truck to them. they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with there work

I own Clarks Car Care in Naperville. Have referred many people here and really never a problem. They have worked on some of my personal cars as well. Down to earth, nice and charge reasonable. Its hard to find a good independent body shop these days. Stay away from the corporate body shops-they repair cheap as possible and do not fight for you with your insurance company. read more

Wow! Finally an auto body shop that did excellent work. I went in to get the front bumper replaced. They had it done early, and even threw in a bit of touch-up painting on my back bumper. It is true that the front counter lady isn't the most charismatic, but once she warms up a bit she's quite helpful and pleasant. I'll be pleased to return (and I'm sure I will with my driving!). read more

I met the owner Larry about 12 years when I brought my car in. I do have somewhat of a bodywork background so I usally can tell when shops take short cuts not the case with B and L Autobody Larry's work is impeccable he is always on time and his paint matches &bodywork are perfect. Since then Larry does my families and friends I will not take my car anywhere else. Not to mention hes certified bodyshop with State Farm. Brian Peterson Warrenville,ILL read more

Got into an accident about a month ago in my brand new car. The tow truck driver referred me to B & L auto. Larry called me within a day with an estimate and timeframe that my car would be done. He was genuinely concerned that the car was too new and he would make sure it was like new when out was returned. I picked it up today. Looks great!!! Drives great!!! B&L stands by their work and great customer service. I highly recommend... read more

Brought my teenagers 2000 GMC Jimmy in after a slight fender bender. Since it is a 4 wheel drive and in good condition I wanted it repaired instead of totaled by the insurance company. Lynette and Larry were able to find replacement parts and kept the cost to repair it under the budget the insurance company required. We got it repaired and they still have something to drive. Thanks Lynette, Thanks Larry. read more

We had B&L work on our 2008 Honda CR-V after a minor crash. They towed the car and worked with our insurance company without any problems. They kept me posted on the status of the car, and returned my calls or answered my questions promptly. Larry negotiated using almost entirely original Honda parts to repair my car, and still got it covered by the insurance. Normally body shops get cheap replacement parts to save themselves a lot of money. But once I got the car back, I couldn't even tell it was in an accident. Everything fit perfectly and looks flawless. The paint job was perfectly blended and even in the bright sunlight I couldn't find any variations in the color. It's like the car came out of the factory again. The whole job took a little longer than I expected, but because of the high quality work, I didn't mind the extra few days to get everything done. I did go back for a few minor issues and they took care of it right away, no hassle. I recommend them to everyone. read more

Found both Lynette and Larry to be very professional, down-to-earth, and on top of things. No frills, no nonsense. Lynette did a great job coordinating with my insurance company. The office is very simple -- no fancy espresso machine or aromatherapy scents, and that's exactly what I'd expect from a body shop that does good work and doesn't charge for unnecessary bells and whistles. My car was taken in and returned when promised, and B & L not only got the job done, they got it done well. read more

this place is ok. Not great. certainly not friendly people. They are busy doing insurance related work - so when you walk in their office they are not pleased to see you. Seems like they wish you would go away. I would give them 2 stars for customer service and 3 stars for quality of work. They are not cheap either. If insurance is paying for it you're ok, but if your paying out of pocket go somewhere else. There are better shops and certainly worse. read more

My poor vehicle was hit while parked, Larry the owner took care of everything. Dropped it off Sunday night was told initially it would be done by the friday following but was pleasantly surprised it was completed early on thursday. Acutally felt like they cared. B&L did a great job repairing my 2010 Ford Fusion, the car looks like it was never in an accident, they even finished the repairs ahead of schedule and took the time to explain everything to me, and showed me the hidden damage that couldn't be seen until they took the car apart, who ever Michael C. is who gave a bad review is wrong with his review. No one can see the hidden damage behind a bumper until the car is taken apart. B&L repaired all the hidden damage on my car without cutting corners, my car looks perfect. Thank you Larry for doing a great job and explaining everything to me. I will definetly recommend B&L Autobody to everyone I know. read more

B & L Auto Body is an excellent body shop! I was involved in a three car accident in Naperville which is 200 miles from where I live. I had no idea where to get my car repaired. A dealership without their own body shop recommended B & L Auto Body and I decided to give them a try. They arranged towing to their shop and dealt with the insurance adjuster. My car was only a year old and I was afraid it would never be the same. B & L Auto Body did an amazing repair job! Looking at my car you would have no idea it had ever been in an accident. I would recommend B & L Auto Body to anyone needing a body shop!! read more

We have had our cars repaired there on 3 separate occasions and could not have asked for a better experience!
