I received responses to other questions within the same emails, however no rep ever acknowledged my question on refund process. Ultimately it took 6 weeks to receive my order (yes, the delays continued, and my request for a refund/process ignored). When order finally received everything was correct and in good shape, however upon installation the rear wheel center caps did not fit. I was told since I installed and drove on them I could not return. Steve's Discount Wheels rep stated that I should have done the investigation to ensure center caps would fit - I completely disagree - they're the experts and should know what fits. Yes, SDW is low cost, but consider other options.

However, upon inspecting the vehicle the day prior, I observed that the battery required a jump start before a test drive could be conducted--an unusual circumstance. I raised this concern, along with a slight misalignment in the vehicle's steering, with the salesperson, who subsequently relayed these issues to the owner. The following day, we returned with the intention of finalizing the purchase. I was informed that the battery had been inspected and fully charged, and that it was deemed to be in good condition. In my experience, a truly healthy battery does not require recharging to operate reliably. Notably, the vehicle is a 2019 model--manufactured in 2018--meaning the battery is approximately eight years old. There is no service record indicating that the battery has been replaced; had it been serviced or replaced through an authorized dealer, such documentation would be available. While the vehicle was fairly priced, we requested a concession of a slightly reduction in price to account for the battery and alignment concerns. However, the request was denied. The car was quite nice, and my wife liked it; however, had her battery died unexpectedly while she was far from home, it could have been a significantly problematic situation. I believe that addressing these issues appropriately would have been a fairer approach, rather than dismissing them solely to maintain the asking price.
