This company is amazing. We were out of town, and they were scheduled to to fix our AC at our restaurant Sweet Lemon Kitchen. Their technician was sick, so the owner of Georgetown AC came out in the middle of the night (during the hottest time of the summer) and got our AC working again. They came out to our home as quickly as possible. They corrected the problem. We purchased some cleaner for our drain pipe. They were very kind and courteous. Our a/c was out in the summer w e thought we were going to need a new one. All w e had to do was super clean the drain line. read more

My AC was out and this company was recommended. I'm so happy I called! I got a same day appointment and my tech was Zack. He is amazing and gives all the credit for his excellent work to the company expectations! He did a comprehensive diagnostic, wrote everything down with pricing and answered every question. The pricing was very fair. He left everything neat and clean, worked efficiently and double checked everything before he drove off. Zack is an excellent representative of Geo AC and Heating. Requested service on our AC on 8/5. They sent a guy out and charged us $125 for a diagnosis of the problem. He couldn't figure it out so they sent another guy later that day and charged me another $150. Was told I'd get an estimate from Scott (owner). After 4 days i called back asking for the estimate. Was told he'd "call me right back." He never did. I waited a week and called back again, was told the same thing. Owner would call with an estimate. No call. Waited until 8/20 to call for the 4th time. Was told Scott would call me back. Guess what? No call. Decided to give up. Called Professional AC and Heating and was totally taken care of. read more

This company used to be wonderful. Great service, on time and I trusted them completely. As of late however, service is sketchy at best, work requested falls through the cracks and is never completed, and there is a total lack of communication. I had an appointment, but it needed to be rescheduled due to illness among employees. That, I can understand. Next appointment, nobody showed up. I called and was told my appt wasn't with so and so at 11, it was with so and so at 3. That didn't work for me. Next appointment, nobody showed up. I called and no one answered, I got voice mail. I give up. Won't try again. The best techs I used over the years have left the company. I wonder why. I've found a new company that several neighbors highly recommended. read more

Initially did a good job, however a few months after the install we had a leak from the system that we were promised couldn't happen because the system was so "technologically advanced" that we could never have a leak. The service technician came out and confirmed that their was an overflow in the pan, which caused the water damage to our living room ceiling. Great service, they are on top of communication . Our AC got clogged and we had to shut the ac in mid day when it was 100 degrees but Melinda ( dispatch) was very helpful though it was a weekend she was able to get Zachary out to us. He was super Booked but still came out at 9pm at night and fix the ac and gave us a couple tips on cleaning it. He showed up with a mask and was polite. Definitely calling them again next time we have another issue with the unit. read more

My interactions with Georgetown AC & Heating have been very positive, based on my first experience with them last week. On the phone, Michelle was easy to work with for scheduling, and very pleasant. Their technician, Zach, came out to do routine checkup and maintenance on three AC units. He was on schedule, and called to tell me when he was headed my way, and how long it would take to get here. I was very impressed by Zach's professionalism. For example, one unit needed additional refrigerant. He showed me the metering of output air temperature compared to the thermostat setting, and the metering at the unit of refrigerant pressures. He showed me the manufacturer's recommended settings on the unit's label, and got the unit up to spec. I felt very confident in Zach, and in the firm for sending him out with modern equipment and the ability to do his job efficiently. I did not feel that I was being "sold" extra refrigerant that I did not need. I've already recommended Georgetown AC & Heating to a neighbor. read more

They are great! The helped me out of a bind that another AC repair company caused. When another company took apart my AC unit and left it on a hot July weekend without any intention of returning they came to help promptly and with great service at a reasonable price. They sent a very friendly helpful repairman and kept us from having a heat stroke for a week or more. Love them! read more

We signed up for an annual contract. They will come out twice a year to service and inspect your unit. Geri, in the office, was so sweet. I scheduled our appointment through her. She called an hour before our appointment time to let me know Adam was on his way. Adam arrived and got right to work. After inspecting, he came in and said, "I have bad news." From there he recommended a new unit and told us Dennis would be in touch. Dennis called later to schedule some time to come out to make some recommendations based on Adam's report. More bad news.... New units cost $6K-8K. Holy Schnikes!! Dennis recommended replacing a couple of parts to extend our unit's life then left and told us he would send some quotes on new units, which he did the following day. The next day we had Rembert's out for a second opinion. The good news... both outcomes and verbal quotes were similar but we had Rembert's go ahead and replace the bad capacitor since he was already out here. We would feel comfortable using either company. read more

My neighbor used Georgetown Air Conditioning to install a mini split in her sunroom. While there were a few minor hiccups, it went pretty smoothly for her so I thought I'd do the same. Initially, everything went wonderfully. Richard, who installed it, did not have the interior and exterior covers for the hoses so he said he'd come back. I went on vacation and left my son at home so I thought all would be done when I came back. Apparently there was miscommunication and the company thought no one was home. When I returned, I called immediately and Richard came out but only put a cover on the exterior hoses. When I called back, I was told Richard no longer worked there but they would call me back later that day with an appt time. No call back. I only get voicemail now, and while I have left multiple messages and even emailed the company, I have heard nothing for the last 2 weeks. I wonder if they are even open. read more

January 11, 2018 Our 21 year old HVAC broke down and we decided to replace it. My husband and I feel more comfortable with a company successful enough to have a well developed web-site and a staff of employees. We hope to find a company who we can count on past the initial installation and of course, we want a fair deal. We found that and more with Georgetown Air-conditioning and heating. They have a comprehensive approach which includes extras designed to build a successful business such as: A UV light to kill unhealthy mold and allergens, and special, 5 inch, high quality air filters for the air duct(s.) They also provide a 1 year maintenance contract providing Spring and Fall service (see their website for more detail.) Upon request, we promptly received written quotes for different models. Dennis, the proprietor, answered all my questions and told me about his commitment to a quality installation. For example, he believes that it is very important to vacuum the system beyond the specs that the industry requires. I had read that the installation is the most important part. Two installers showed up for the work. They were very nice and courteous, English speaking. After they complete the installation the company has a more senior employee followup; answering any questions, inspecting the work, and accepting payment. My husband and I were impressed with all the employees we dealt with. I believe Georgetown Air-Conditioning and Heating is a committed company. read more

Tried to replace a capacitor on my heater, which is an expensive part. I said no. Had it checked by another company and they said it did not need replacing. That was four years ago. Still does not need to be replaced. Be alert to this recommendation by them. Likely does not need replacing. read more

Geri and Mark are super. Geri worked hard to help before scheduling a service call. I called her 3 times before we agreed to send a service person. She was awesome trying to solve a problem started by Atmos who had a issue with gas supply briefly on a very cold January day. Mark the service man came out and was super professional and showed what happened and got us back in business while checking all our other systems. Super company that really cares about customers by Marks and Geri's actions today. We will use them again. read more

I am giving you 4 stars because I think Dennis is a nice guy! The day while talking to one of the workers things seemed to be ok, I asked a couple of questions and was ready to hang up when I heard her get up from the phone and say "it's amazing how you could live this long and be this stupid ". Now I really don't know if she said that about me or she was saying it about someone else but I do know that it was unprofessional! When I confronted her about it she gave me a whole story about the business next door and that one of the workers came by and she had said that to him. She had her phone on speaker so I think I would be able to hear someone else talk to her! I think we will take our business elsewhere! read more

I first want to say that I never write reviews online, but this needs to be said in order to prevent others from being taken advantage of. I work as an engineer with HVAC, so I was going to have someone come out and take care of the A/C because it's easier paying someone to do repairs. We had this company come out, and he replaced the capacitor. Within a week the A/C stopped working again, so we called. He said he would come out and take a look at it for "free", and when he came out, he literally yelled at my roommate when she explained that the capacitor was the wrong size. All you do is look at the fan motor and get the proper microfarad rating. I told her to point this out to him. When asked to take back the part and return our money, he promptly yelled "This is crap", got in his car, and drove away. This is extremely unprofessional, even when disagreeing with a customer. I do not recommend this business based on questionable integrity and extremely poor customer service. read more

very rude man every time i tried to talk he over talked me and then he would yell at me, wouldn't let me explain anything said he wouldn't come out for a battery to be replaced on a thermostat but the thermostat did not have a battery but he would not listen to me for me to tell him that. when i asked him to stop yelling at me he said to find someone else and hung up on me. would not recommend him for anything.
