Was passing thru from Oklahoma stopped in to eat and was very pleased with the service we received. Grant the cool and kavazea the server made us feel right at home and told us all about the city. The food was great and the atmosphere was very inviting.

In a charming diner, you can enjoy breakfast made with fresh ingredients at George Webb. My breakfast was "OK", being the orange juice the highlight of my meal. It was fresh. I wouldn't come back for breakfast, but I would to try their hamburgers, I've heard they are good!

If I'm being honest, I hadn't been to a George Webb's in probably 15 years. Being a longtime vegetarian and now pescatarian, it just wasn't a place that lured me in. My Dad however is a huge fan and we ended up eating at this location twice in one month! Both times the servers were super nice and made sure to check on us regularly. The first time I had the fish fry which wasn't bad actually, but not the greatest either. The rye bread seemed a little stale. Second time was breakfast and let me just say, the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly in my opinion. This place has a real following and you can tell they have daily regulars. The place is clean, the food is decent, the prices are reasonable for what you get. Just knowing my Grandparents used to frequent this location made me nostalgic to be there.

Went in early this morning (4am). The waitress said someone was coming to clean the flat top range hood at 430 am so they couldn't serve us food. No fryer food either. Settled on a bowl of soup because that's all we could get. Saw her turn down multiple customers because of the grill hood being cleaned (which never happened at 430) As we were leaving, we watched her put food on the grill to cook. Then when I asked why she could cook now..: "I'm just heating something up". Then locked the door and said they were closed and to leave. I'll never be back to this Webb's, the worst customer service last night. Your server needs training.

If I could give a zero star I would. Waitress walking around with a portable Walkman on music on loud enough for you to hear. Food was okay for Webb standards. I had better service at other Webb locations after 11 pm 11/27/17 Waitress eating right out in the open. Do you think that someone isn't going to notice

When nothing else is open this place has food for you to put in your mouth. It's a diner. The food is good, simple and cheap. I give it 3 stars out of 5 in the 'midnight diner' category because the breakfast portions are small and they were very understaffed.

    Late night cravings satisfied!

While a tiny place, you're greeted with a wonderful smell as soon as you open the door, embracing your nose like a warm hug. Service was great! Staff was efficient and offered great suggestions, such as when I wanted the grilled cheese but I am not a fan of pepperjack and it was offered to add in some mozzarella instead of the pepperjack and it was not only a thoughtful suggestion, it was an amazing sandwich! I did a combo with the ginger carrot soup and it definitely had the ginger kick but was not too potent for me and I appreciated the suggestion from staff to try this one. Just a couple small quibbles that prevented Loup from getting five stars: - There were no croutons, crackers, or bread served with the soup. That is a must for me and something that can be easily corrected. - The M&M cookie--while quite large--was not great, especially for $4. It's my husband's favorite kind of cookie and he only had about a third of it before passing it on to me. I ended up having it at home with milk (which helped) but it was overall a disappointing and expensive dessert.

The lunch menu has a huge variety of options, which made it tough to choose. I went with the BLT on sourdough, served with a pickle spear and thick-cut potato chips. It totally hit the spot. The bacon they use is fantastic. My friend ordered the Sriracha Melt (ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, jalapeños, and sriracha mayo grilled on white bread), which also came with chips and a pickle. Immediately devoured. The salads looked incredible....the table next to us ordered a couple and they looked absolutely divine. Next time for sure. The adjacent market is a must-browse too. It's packed with specialty products and rare finds that you don't see everywhere, making it easy to walk out with way more than you planned. Great food, great service, and a fun market to explore. Highly recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near West Allis.

Both were fantastic! There was street parking available, and while we arrived at a peak time, we were able to find a table after a brief wait once we ordered. There was a covered patio seating area that was also being utilized. After lunch, we browsed the connected store, with a nice selection of cheese and sausage, of course, and lots of great local products. Friendly service, generous portions, and delicious food - we'll be back!

Food: They have a large selection of breakfast pastries, including scones, cinnamon rolls, hand pies, and more. There are also some savory items, such as a rosemary biscuit. It was a tough choice, but when in doubt, I go for a scone, and they had a Maple Cinnamon one. I had it warmed up a bit, and it was delicious. These scones are not muffins in disguise, which means the texture is a bit drier and more crumbly--perfect alongside a hot beverage. For my drink, I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte. I was hoping to have it served in an actual ceramic mug, but those are only offered to customers who order drip coffee. That said, they made a very good London Fog, with a little extra lavender and plenty of foam. For my taste, it could have been a bit hotter. Service: Everyone who helped us was kind and helpful and gave us plenty of time to choose the perfect pastries. When ordering the London Fog, they explained how they make theirs and how they would add the extra lavender, which I appreciated. As mentioned above, they do not provide mugs for specialty drinks, using mugs instead to keep track of customers who have paid for bottomless drip coffee. I could bring my own mug from home, but I am not a fan of carrying around coffee shop essentials. Atmosphere: The building is nicely designed on the outside and sits on a corner with plenty of large windows that bring in natural light. It faces north, so you avoid the glaring morning sun. Upon entering, there is a short walk to the counter, where you can view all of the bakery and pastry items. A menu board above clearly displays the breakfast and lunch offerings, making it easy for first time visitors. There are numerous tables that accommodate small groups, and a fireplace with a couple of upholstered chairs offers a cozy seating option. Even after filling up with customers, the noise level was very good, and easy to have casual conversations. A nice visit and a place I would enjoy coming back to.

But once you know where it is, it's easy to find and worth it. I went in during lunch one day and it was quiet. The hours are limited, as they close early afternoon. I had a great conversation with the owners and cook, Gus, and his lovely wife behind the counter. I ordered the lamb gyro plate with the french fries - and Gus said, you can get fries anywhere, try my rice! And so he served up the rice and asked me to try it right then and there. I asked for my feta on the side, and again he was insistent I try it then. The portions are gigantic - it was enough for at least 2 meals. We talked about his background in ethnic cooking. I was impressed they opened up around the time Covid-19 was raging and they've managed to stay in business despite opening up during a difficult time. The food was good, the portions are generous, making it a good value for the money, I enjoyed meeting the proprietors, and I'm looking forward to returning and trying out some of his soups and other lunch items.

Both were really excellent and a GREAT value with plenty of food! I could only finish half of each at each sitting and had the rest as leftovers later on those respective days. Dine-in and carry-out is available, and the menu hangs above the kitchen and consists of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as some Mexican favorites, such as tacos, buritos, and enchiladas, with choice of chicken, beef, or pork. His website, Facebook page, Google page, and Yelp page all show slightly different business hours, but the key takeaways are 1) open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Saturday, and 2) the food is delicious at a great value! This last photo shows the Summer business hours will be 8am-2pm Monday-Saturday, starting June 13th, but you safely call in a carry-out order or dine-in during those times this week, too.
