a cup of coffee on a table

I'd like to find a positive about my experience, but there are not any. Upon arrival for breakfast, the waitress asked if someone was joining me or if I was alone. I replied that it was only me, and she said, "That's alright". Um, okay... She brought my coffee in a mug with ads for local businesses printed on it. The mugs were so old that most of the printing had worn off and were illegible. To top it off, the rim of the mug was completely chipped. I didn't ask for another mug because I assumed they were all like that. I was the only person in the restaurant, so I would think that if there were other options, I would have been given a better mug. Swayed by the specials menu, I ordered the stuffed French toast with peaches. The waitress came to take my order and sat at my table with me. When the food came, I was a bit surprised to discover the peaches were canned, but not a big deal. The cook must've dumped the peaches on top of the French toast directly from the can, because on the plate there was a big puddle of the heavy syrup the peaches were canned in. Another customer arrived shortly before I left, and he said he had someone who would be joining him. The waitress kept peeking out the front window, and asked the gentleman if he was waiting for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. The poor guy sounded a bit offended and responded that he was waiting for neither. The flustered waitress said she meant to ask if it was a friend who was a boy or a girl. He asked her why she was asking him that and she said she saw a boy in the parking lot and wondered if it was the person he was waiting for. These were two men in their 70's - hardly boys! Maybe if the service were decent, I'd be willing to return to try something else on the menu, but I won't be back. There are too many better restaurants to give my business to.

With a friend's band on their entertainment schedule, I found the perfect opportunity to try it out. I was looking forward to both the music and the food and while the music was amazing, my overall experience didn't quite live up to expectations. Pro: - My friends and I were able to reserve a table ahead of time, which helped secure space to enjoy the show. We had an up close and personal view, and it definitely made for an immersive experience. Cons: - The space is way too small for live bands. The band was squeezed into a corner, and the closest table was practically on top of the lead singer. The small space in front of the band may have been meant for dancing, but it blocked the path to the bathrooms and food service. It felt cramped, loud, and uncomfortable. - The pub-height tables had tall chairs that were wobbly and unstable. I'm not a big person, but even I felt like I might tip over sitting there. Plus, the layout was so tight that we all had to get up every time someone wanted to wiggle their way to the bar or the bathroom. - Our waitress disappeared for long stretches of time, and service was painfully slow. We ended up having to go up to the bar for refills between courses because no one was around to help. - The food was disappointing. I ordered the house-made tavern chips (which look like potato chips on the website) but got plain tortilla chips instead. I also had two hot weiners, and while they had all the right toppings, the flavor was all wrong. The meat sauce tasted burnt, and they were completely overloaded with celery salt. It was honestly the worst I've ever had. Others at the table felt underwhelmed with their selections as well - the quesadilla was soggy and the appetizer sampler was just okay. - The bathroom locks were unreliable. The lock on the door failed halfway through my visit, and it took several attempts to get the button to work again, which made for a pretty awkward experience. Given this visit, I'm unlikely to return. If I do, it'd have to be for a great band, and I'll definitely eat somewhere else beforehand.

That's a lot, but on this day, the place was almost empty. Nice weather = low patrons. Everyone is out enjoying the day. A few more parties did arrived during our visit and sat both inside and out so they got busy. The bartender took our drink order and handed over menus. This two sided, laminated menu has a lot on offer. Pub fare like wings, burgers and sandwiches, plus entrées, salads and apps. Once we ordered we were given place mats and flatware. We both got sandwiches and side salads. The salads came out first with our dressings on the side. I chose their house dressing which seems to be a mix of dressing like thousand island and some others. It's mild and pleasant. The salad is fresh and for a side salad, a good size. Our meals came out shortly after we had finished our salads and wow, this is a lot of food. Both were very tasty with fresh bread, plenty of toppings and my burger was cooked as ordered. We ended up taking half of both home. The fries were very good. This spot was recommended to us by a waitress at another nearby restaurant. It's a nice, neighborhood restaurant and bar. Friendly staff. Solid food.

Was looking for something for lunch in the area and I'm always up for something different. I can't…read moresay I was familiar with Frybread the food or location, but thought I'd give it a try. Upon entering the establishment, was greeted by Willie the owner. He couldn't be friendlier and was happy to talk about the various offerings as well his indigenous culture. I have a habit of over ordering when I'm indecisive, so I sampled a decent amount of food, but left some for next time. Started with the chicken stuffed frybread. I should start by saying that all sauces are made in house. Willie will tell you, he likes to cook and experiment, and these sauces demonstrate trial and error as they were all good and complimented the food really well. I had the gansett as a bowl. The spicy sauce was made with garden grown ghost peppers. It had good flavor and some kick, but far from outrageous spice, just great flavor. I got some pizza to go. A special that day was a quahog pizza, so I had to try it. It was like having a really good clams casino on pizza. Nice clam flavor complimented by the sauce and bacon. Delicious. I'll also add the house made lemonade was great and he can make it to your desired sweetness. All in all, it was a really positive experience. The place is colorful but small and only has three or four small tables to eat and the food took a bit to arrive, but the flavors and Willie himself overshadowed those things and made for a 5 star experience.

So much so, it was actually dripping when I picked up the frybread. The fries were also saturated with grease and were floppy and soft. The food didn't even look the same as what I saw on TikTok, so I'm not sure if I came on an "off" day or what. Maybe they had a different cook that day. Not sure. The other thing that is frustrating about this place is the hours are not consistent. It says they're open until 7pm but I've tried coming a few times and the place was closed even though the hours online say it's open. So it feels like a gamble sometimes when making the trip out there to get the food.

Al pastor should be juicy and tender, but here the meat was incredibly dried out and lacked any depth of flavor. To make matters worse, the tacos were served cold every single time. For a place named after their tacos, this is a major failure. * The Atmosphere: The noise level is completely out of control. It isn't just "busy"--it's so loud that it's actually uncomfortable to sit through a meal. * The Service: The service matches the food quality: poor and inattentive. After three chances, it's clear these aren't just "off nights"; it's the standard. I won't be back. There are plenty of other spots where you can get hot, fresh tacos in a much better environment.
