a plate of french toast, fruit, and coffee

We absolutely love this place! Patty, our server, is super friendly and efficient. My husband had sausage patties and eggs and was thrilled, and I had the French Toast Special which had strawberries, blueberries and bananas and it was the thick French Toast. The special coffee today was Witches Potion, which was so amazingly delicious l got a large one to go. If you want to meet Patty, she will be going back to the one in Wakefield soon.

They do have parking available which is nice since there area mostly only have street parking. Inside is pretty large and they have lots of tables and counter. It was not too busy so we were sat down right away. They did have some easter specials but i ended up getting Fried chicken sandwich and deviled eggs. Deviled egg came out quickly. It was ok looked kind of sad as seen on the picture. Rest of the food took a while for it to come out which was weird because it wasn't that busy. Maybe short staffed. Finally the food arrived. Fried chicken sandwich was honestly not that great. Looked like it was fried too long, darkened. The cut did not have a lot of meat and it was very dry. The sauce and brioche bun helped it to balance it a bit. Fries were good. Overall the food was ok at best. We decided to try their dessert. We got the easter special egg cheese cake and carrot cake. The desert was excellent. Egg cheese cake had egg and nest looking chocolate frosting which made it look in theme for easter. It had nice creamy cheese flavor with chocolate frosting and good crust at the bottom. Carrot cake was moist and delicious. Service was ok. We had a new server that seemed like was not fully trained yet with knowledge about their menu. Wait was long for the main meal. I can see that she was trying though. Overall the place was ok. Food quality seemed to be inconsistent with the menus. If anything i would come back for the desert if they have the cheese cake around again.

I was thrilled to stop by and had a wonderful experience at the bar. I have a small appetite so I chose to have the side order of seafood fried rice and it did not disappoint. It was so absolutely delicious. The shrimp were plentiful and tender. The colorful variety of vegetables were fresh and the seasonings were incredible. So good... as I said, that I had to order another "side" to take home! I did spoil myself with some sticky toffee pudding of which I brought home leftovers as well. Owners Michael and Ailine were very thoughtful and said hello! I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly to an individual, couple or family. It's a pleasure to dine there !

Be warned, it's on the more expensive side for dining and may be a coin toss for "is it worth it" for those that enjoy a night out but also looking for value. Food was a mixed bag for us.... Starting with the smashburger was genuinely disappointing as the burger itself was dry and advertised as a "French onion" smashburger that failed to deliver any of the rich, savory flavor we expected with a name like "French onion smashburger". The hot honey Mac and cheese was very good and flavorful... The hot being more of a vinegary heat than I expected but the cream sauce was rich. Speaking of value earlier.... Smashburger was $20 and the Mac and cheese was $28. Entrees were $10-15 more it seemed but previous reviews all spoke highly of the entrees and would want to try them if we visit again. The overall service experience was disappointing for us. Not for the demeanor of the staff but everything else... We had a decent size group of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids) and was fortunate to have a dining room to help the kids burn some energy while not bothering the other diners. However, from ordering to entrees to arrive was 45 very hungry minutes. It also took 20+ mins just to get drinks. Once the food arrived, they also were short two of the kids meals which was thankfully corrected quick. We then were somewhat "gently" being asked to wrap things up by 3 staff members in 10 mins making the rounds to clear plates and any to go containers. We all understand the business in the food industry and turning tables, and trust me, after an hour from arriving to food on the table we wanted to get home for bed time. However, really sours the experience and would not advocate going here with large groups.... Between the kitchen and staff I can't say you'd have a guaranteed good time.

Upon entering the establishment, was greeted by Willie the owner. He couldn't be friendlier and was happy to talk about the various offerings as well his indigenous culture. I have a habit of over ordering when I'm indecisive, so I sampled a decent amount of food, but left some for next time. Started with the chicken stuffed frybread. I should start by saying that all sauces are made in house. Willie will tell you, he likes to cook and experiment, and these sauces demonstrate trial and error as they were all good and complimented the food really well. I had the gansett as a bowl. The spicy sauce was made with garden grown ghost peppers. It had good flavor and some kick, but far from outrageous spice, just great flavor. I got some pizza to go. A special that day was a quahog pizza, so I had to try it. It was like having a really good clams casino on pizza. Nice clam flavor complimented by the sauce and bacon. Delicious. I'll also add the house made lemonade was great and he can make it to your desired sweetness. All in all, it was a really positive experience. The place is colorful but small and only has three or four small tables to eat and the food took a bit to arrive, but the flavors and Willie himself overshadowed those things and made for a 5 star experience.

So much so, it was actually dripping when I picked up the frybread. The fries were also saturated with grease and were floppy and soft. The food didn't even look the same as what I saw on TikTok, so I'm not sure if I came on an "off" day or what. Maybe they had a different cook that day. Not sure. The other thing that is frustrating about this place is the hours are not consistent. It says they're open until 7pm but I've tried coming a few times and the place was closed even though the hours online say it's open. So it feels like a gamble sometimes when making the trip out there to get the food.
