Her meal & drink, before tip, was cents under $50. I ordered a cup of white clam chowder, half a dozen clam cakes & a soda, which brought my tab to $16.50 before tip. The clam chowder was delicious, but so full of potatoes that I actually only got a few spoonfuls of soup. I ate 2 of the clamcakes; the 1st had 1 clam, the 2nd not even that. And neither of them had any flavor whatsoever. On the plus side, all the staff we encountered were pleasant & our waitress was attentive. However, I don't plan on returning.

There is some foul language in some of the stickers on the kitchen door (and you have to go through that door to get to the restrooms). And the manager was a little off putting to us when he learned we were from out of town he suggested a visit to the dispensary. He also commented on how dressed up we were - when both us us were just in silk button up shirts. The meal for the two of us came to $100 with only one glass of wine so it's not like this is a cutoff shorts and string t kind of place. My husband wasn't bothered by the comment but I didn't like it - we were also the only same sexed couple in the place so maybe I was a little on edge. They also serve breakfast on the weekends. The bar offers a few beers on tap and cans and mixed drinks. There is seating around the bar, table seating and booths overlooking the golf course. I took a seat up at the bar and started out with water, which was a bottle of Poland Spring ($1.50) served with a glass of ice. I ordered the Fish & Chips ($14.99 plus tax) which took about 22 minutes to come out. The plate was comprised of a large crispy deep fried beer battered cod filet, standard fries, tartar sauce, and a cup of sweet coke slaw (wet texture), malt vinegar and ketchup bottles brought over. The food was a bit greasy, but it tasted just fine. After I was done, I requested the check which was $17.69 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good filling lunch and adequate bar service.

I liked that they wrap their sandwiches half way so you can hold it. I noticed the cheese on the chicken sandwich was not melted, and it had jalapeños to make it spicy. It would have been better if the cheese was melted and if the jalapeños were infused into the sauce. I wish there was more of the sauce it did have because it was delicious. The bun was nice and soft, and the chicken was perfectly crispy and moist. The fries were delicious and had just the right amount of salt. I did not realize until after that they have sauces on the menu (I would have ordered some for the fries). I have never liked tapioca but these were so good. They were soft and actually had a good flavor. I am used to tough and flavorless. The taro was sweet but not anything overwhelming. I would definitely come back for more.
