I had some interesting beers including a great IPA from Providence Brewing, Battlecow Galacticose. Also enjoyed some tasty appetizers. We had their appetizer sampler as well as a Caesar's salad. I read some of the reviews and I have to agree with the majority of everyone else that they take forever to even acknowledge you. I was with with my 3 year old son who is rather "loud" so I know we were seen or at least heard, but continued to be ignored to the point where we had to go up to the bar to order food and drinks.... So I ordered a Gilbert Grape (it has rock candy in it) but asked if she could make it non-alcoholic because I don't like to drink mid-day with my child (even if it's just one drink). The drink was served to me with alcohol in it... I ate the rock candy and skipped the drink- so that was disappointing had to pay like $10-11 for an alcoholic drink I didn't wasn't. I didn't even bother asking to take it off the bill because we were running late to see Dumbo! My son had something they were advertising as a kid special that coincided with Dumbo (the movie we were going to see). So I thought that was pretty cool! And the presentation was very cute and kid friendly! My food was decent but nothing overly memorable. Aside from the poor service I do however like the "idea" of this place. The arcade, the laser tag, the virtual reality games and the bowling are a fun thing to do on a rainy afternoon! However they are a bit on the expensive side! I think $20 worth of arcade games went in like less than an hour. Where $20 gets you at least an hour at the Chuck E. Cheese arcade! So overall I think this place has a TON of potential but according to other reviews they really need a management over haul to get it together! As the food is decent and the atmosphere is fun! Awful This review is only about the bar, but I can't see the rest being any better. Listen, this place was created for younger people who only goto chain restaurants and just don't know any better. It's the Applebee's of bowling alleys. We went in around 4pm after shopping and grabbed a beer at the bar. Let's see, the draft beer was flat and I had to endure listening to 5 Hootie and Blowfish (so-called) songs. Besides this they charge 5 bucks for a Yuengling draft. So if you like over priced bad draft beer or drinks, Applebee's atmosphere, and listening to lame music like Hootie and Blowshits. Then you might like this place. First time here from Connecticut with out of state family. Anyway, not busy at all and we waited for our food for at least 45 minutes. 3 burgers and a chicken dinner. Ordered 2 appetizers got one then a small hair in with the fries. Gave the wrong burgers to us ordered one with no bbq and we all had no BBQ. Thank goodness for our waitress Stephanie who felt so bad for all the confusion she did a great job comping us. She was a very good employee they should be thankful for. "Meh, I've experienced better" is actually the perfect way to sum this place up. I admittedly didn't have high expectations as I believe a friend of mine had mentioned it was overpriced blah food but again, it was so close to the arcade that my daughter wanted to go to, so I thought I'd give it a shot. We ordered the hot dog kids meal for my daughter and the BBQ wrap for myself. The place was empty. One family when we got there and no one else, so we figured that the food would come pretty quickly. After 10 minutes of waiting, they came out to tell us that there were no hot dogs available. I found this odd considering again, this place was dead. My daughter said she spotted the kitchen staff just talking and talking, so that could have been part of the problem. Roughly 20-25 minutes later, we received our food. Seemed like quite a long wait for basic food items and no real queue. The wrap was mediocre at best, as were the fries. The mac and cheese was OK too. Nothing bad but ... OK. It took a while to get our check and then once we received it, I noticed that I had been charged for that pesky non-existent hot dog. The woman at the front counter was very nice and changed it for us right away but all in all, the prices were very high for "blah" food. For being open for less than two weeks, this place has got it all figured out! To start the bartender provided great service and even better drinks. I had the "Sex and the City" which is a Martini with Ciroc Berry, champagne, pomegranate juice, and the glass was rimmed with POP ROCKS! It was sweet but with a kick at the end-delicious! The food also far surpassed our expectations. The loaded baked potato is phenomenal- we got ours with cheddar cheese, pepper jack, sour cream, bacon, and pulled pork! The serving was huge! We also ordered the buffalo tenders which were right on par. On top of all that they have bowling, arcade games, and laser tag for the kids (and those of us that are just grown-up children)! So the past few visits we've had a different waitress. Request Tara. She's a superstar. She remembers our order every time. The kitchen honors our request for flats and the chef makes allergy friendly fries for my peanut/treenut allergic kid. Previously they were not very accommodating. Maybe new chef or just nicer waitress, idk ‍. So we'll continue to come here and stuff our fat faces until we can no longer fit into our vehicle to drive home. read more

I honestly really enjoy this place! The bartenders are friendly and remember you; it's never crowded and the food is good! They recently switched up the menu to keep things interesting but if you have an old favorite (like I do!) they will still whip it up for you! The arcade attached is perfect for family dinners out so you can play all the while your food is being prepared. A little game of air hockey, anyone? The restaurant and restrooms are always clean. It's located in the Lincoln mall so it's also a great place to grab a bite if you're headed to the movies! They also recently donated to a non profit I volunteer with, as well!! read more

Hidden gem. Tucked in the Lincoln Mall, this place is part of the Cinema World complex. We came strictly for the food and drink and we're not disappointed. At first glance you would think: typical amusement food. Nope! The food is right on. The staff knows their stuff. And the drinks are obviously hand picked. They have Sierra on tap and Delerium in a 22oz bottle. If you want a real treat, go ahead and order the Monster Stuffed Potato. Don't be afraid to load it up with stuff, cuz the thing is ridiculous. My 1 complaint is they need boneless buffs on the menu. They have regular wings with different sauces, but ain't nobody got time fo dat. Nowadays, you gotta do your own boneless. That said, we order boneless anyway and she let us know they didn't have them but they would make it happen anyways. And I tell you what, these things were nuts. I've only been here a few tomes, and only once to partake in actual bowling - other times it's been for drinks and bite to eat. I have to say, this place absolutely exceeds expectations for food. Don't be fooled - this isn't your typical local bowling alley food comparable to what you get at a little league game, the chicken tenders were made of actual chicken, and we chose maple bourbon which was delicious. In the past, I've tried nachos, pizza, and a burger - all have been fantastic. And I love that you can get pitchers of beer - and so many great options too (we opted for Wachussett Blueberry but they also have Dogfish Head IPA in a pitcher!) read more

I love stopping in here for drinks with friends. Although Mary was my all-star bartender, she is no longer there and I miss her a lot. Fear not, though! Emily is amazing. She is my one and only! I never have to tell her what I want, she already knows. She has a great personality and is super sweet. I only come in when she is working. Bowling there is great. The shoes are in great condition and there is a decent selection of house balls. There are large screens at the end of the alleys that play music videos. They also have laser tag and an arcade which I have not personally played in, but I've heard good things from a lot of people. I highly recommend this place for all type of get togethers. This place looks really nice but I finally understand why it's always so empty. The waiters are usually kind but they truly take forever for even the smallest of meals. Also, their food may sound good especially with the price they put on it but I was left EXTREMELY disappointed. Their wings were mediocre at BEST and their fries were so dull and god awful I wouldn't even eat it if it I won it in a raffle. Their drinks are filled with ice so you barely are satisfied with a beverage. I ended up spending a little over $20 for mozzarella sticks and FIVE wings. I was really disappointed when my friends and I went here. Our food took a very long time to come out and when it did my wrap was wrong and the fries I got with it were cold. I had asked for no mayo and to add cheese, no cheese and it was super soggy from all the mayo. I would have sent it back but we had already waited so long and had movie tickets for a certain time so I didn't want to be late I ended up not finishing your food. When they brought our food out they also forgot to bring any utensils or napkins. My bf has fish and chips and my friend a side salad so they needed at least a fork. Came here with a group of 9. We couldn't all fit into one lane so we need to have two. They told us that the wait would be 1 hour and 15 minutes. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes. The management here is incompetent and need to undergo further training so that they can re-train their employees. The bathrooms were disgusting, there was no hot water and garbage all over the place. I could not even find a manager to tell them about this. The prices aren't that bad if you have a bigger group, being that it's per hour. We paid for 1.5 hours and it was just the perfect amount of time to get two games in. The food wasn't bad either. They have a server come to your lane with menus, so you can order food and alcohol right from the lane. The bar is well stocked to support even the sophisticated drinker. Came here with my son to play at the arcade and grab some dinner. Service was ok. I ordered the steak salad and a Mac and Cheese for my son. The portion size was pretty big, but most surprisingly this was no bowling alley food. It was pretty tasty! The salad was fresh and the steak was tender enough and cooked to the temperature I requested. The fried onion ring gave the salad a nice texture. I took a trip down to the new cinema world bar and grille with my wife and kids, not expecting too much from a bowling ally. It was an extreamly busy Saturday night and we were seated by a hostess in the dining area. Our server Caley was very friendly and suggested some entrees off the menu. It appeared to be too busy of a family entertainment center for such a small kitchen. We waited about 45 minutes for a couple salads and appetizers which I found completely absurd. It appeared the manager Tino was making his way to each and every table making sure everything was going well. If it weren't for such a friendly staff and a reassuring manager that made our visit a better experience, I probably wouldn't return. We had a great time last night at the bar. Let me break it into sections for easier reading: Food: We had the following items: Fried pickles, buffalo chicken wrap, and the signature CW burger. I love fried pickles. These were long quartered spears dipped in beer batter and fried. Served with a spicy aioli which was amazing! I really enjoyed these although the app was enough for 5 people, we brought some home. My boyfriend didn't like the excess batter which built up due to the shape of the pickles but I didn't mind it. (Warning, I'm pretty sure they aren't dairy free.) My boyfriend enjoyed his wrap but didn't say much about it. I'll press for more info later and report back. The signature CW burger....well, if you haven't had it, I suggest you do. It's a dried porcini and peppercorn seasoned burger with pulled pork on it. I got it because of the pulled pork and I'm glad I did. When I bit into it, I immediately smelled smoke. I proceeded to talk with my mouth full as I asked if they had a wood oven or something. THEY HAVE A SMOKER ON SITE. The chef was apparently sent to Texas to one of those amazing hole in the walls which everyone lines up for the meat. He studied there and came back. Woah! I found out the chef's name is Joe and he makes everything from scratch which I truly appreciate. You can definitely tell when you eat. This is not crappy bowling food. Beer: Surprisingly the first thing we noticed was that they had Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA on tap. They have a pretty good craft beer selection and it rotates often I hear. I had the Ommegang Abbey Ale which was wonderful. Full bar too! Service: We had great bar service with Jess(?) and Cara is the one who gave me all the info on the kitchen. She's the bar manager, I believe. Everyone was friendly and nice. Atmosphere: With a beautiful view of Subway, there is no doubt you are inside the mall. The place itself has plenty of space, high ceilings, and new shiny modern decor. You can see and hear people bowling off to the side and the video games whirling on the other side. But who cares, you're probably out to have a good time anyway so these things don't bother you. All in all, I enjoyed my time there and was able to bring my leftovers into the theater since it's owned by the same people. I would definitely go again for dinner before a movie. Another stop for the Burger Blowout! Caught a movie and figured we'd shoot over here. All these reviews, talking about poor service had me worried. The first impression looked like it was going to be true, as we walked in and stood at the empty host's stand, waiting for someone to address us. I walked a bit past the bar and the host noticed us and got us a seat and menus. After that first misstep, everything else went really well. Our waitress, Brenda, was excellent. Very attentive and polite. As said above, we came here with our Burger Blowout coupons. Unlike most of the other participating restaurants, the coupons didn't have any restrictions. They covered a full-sized burger and fries, just as seen on the menu, which ended up being great value! As for the food, I'd say it was pretty average. Fries were very crispy and tasty. Burger was cooked well, but could have used a little more seasoning. Nice variety of choices and toppings though. Overall positive experience. Likely not going out of my way to go here, but I'd say it's not a bad place to grab a bite around some movie or bowling time. read more

After going here for a few months, the service is amazing at the bar - Emily, Ron, Meg, and Kara are awesome! Unfortunately, the chairs at the bar are insanely uncomfortable. The back of the chair is small and rounded, forcing you to sit forward, not optimal for really more than a half hour. I had to take away a star, cause its really uncomfortable if you want to watch a game or anything that will be for an extended period of time. read more

This is a great location for many reasons. Great to go after work for drinks and some apps, great for team building activities and great service every time I visit. The only reason why I am giving 3 stars and not 5 is because the bar stools are the most uncomfortable stools. If you sit at at the tables around the bar, you slide down as you are trying to enjoy the food and conversation. The same thing happens at the bar, but at least there is a foot bar to stop the sliding. Please consider upgrading these stools! read more

First time I tried CW, I sat in the dinning room, there were three teenage waitresses on their phones, service THAT DAY was horrible. Food was excellent, kitchen was seriously on point. Next time I went, sat at the bar, service was fantastic. Food was once again fantastic. It's one of the few places that actually cook a burger medium (hot and pink!, like it's supposed to be!). Food is really really good, the kitchen is doing amazing work, especially considering that it's part of a movie theater. If I could give negative stars I would. I came in on a Thursday night and it was dead. I sat at the table near the bar for 15 minutes until I had to go up to the bar an ask if I ordered there or not. I ordered the buffalo chicken nachos. Was so hungry so I kept eating. Noticed there's was a funny taste and our chicken looked grey. It is the only time I've never tipped at a place. If this place wasn't run by a awful management like CW bar and grille I don't know what is. Started off with a party of 7 and we had to wait about 20-30 minutes so playing at arcade killed off the time. Got sat and took about 10 minutes for a waitress to come over to our table to take order's for drinks. After we ordered drinks we started off with appetizers and they took about 15 minutes to come out. French fries, Fried Pickles and mozzarella sticks. Fries and Sticks were good but the pickles were not impressive. Tasted more like grease than pickles. Waited another 25 minutes for the food to come out and me and my mother split a small buffalo chicken pizza. Waiter comes out with a plain chicken pizza. Also was stone cold as well. We told him we ordered Buffalo Chicken and the waiter said "I'll put more chicken and buffalo on the pizza" comes back 1 minute later with drizzles of Buffalo Sauce and still plain chicken. Took it back again because they forgot blue cheese crumbles. Took my first few bites and found a piece of long hair in my pizza. Are you kidding me? Now we took it back and we said no pizza and to take the pizza off the bill. One of the people in our party got a reuben sandwich and it was pulled pork. What a mess. Manager comes out and apologizes and takes the pizza off the bill and gave us a $25 gift card for the bowling alley, arcade and food. These waiters/waitress are so slow a blind person could pick up the speed. Chefs in the back cooking look slow as well. I want to eat here again because the food was decent but with the recent encounter with slow waiters/waitress and hair in food I don't know whether I will eat here again. After waiting the first half hour a server took our order as we were standing up about to walk out. We ordered a pitcher of sangria which tasted completely like sour mix and contained little to no alcohol yet I was up-charged twice for this disgusting drink. I went with my son during the week so it was slow, Linda our server provided great service. The food was very good, mostly a bar food menu but not bar food quality. My son ordered mac & cheese and it was enough for two meals for him. It was creamy and fresh and among the best mac & cheese I've ever had. I picked at it myself for a while when he was done. I ordered wings, they have a large variety of unique sauces. I'd like to try several of them. I had the Asian Sesame, which was good but just a little strong (but I still liked it). The smoky bbq was very good. I also ordered the bbq sliders which came with one each of bbq chicken, pulled pork and brisket. They were all very good, my favorite was the pulled pork. She was short with short red hair tied in a ponytail and wore glasses. She was drinking at the bar and kept going behind the bar to work. If you ask me that is unprofessional. We had plans to see an 8pm movie, and decided to stop here for food since it's in such close proximity to the theater. We arrived at the restaurant at about 645. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait for a table, but were happy to see that we got seated much quicker. After that we waited over 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged by the server. We flagged down the hostess and mentioned to her that no one had come over. She took our drink order and went to find our server, but it was still at least another 5 minutes before he came over. Even after he came over it took another 5-10 minutes before we got our drinks. We asked for the check before the food even came because we wanted to make it to our movie on time. The food did not come until around 740/745. We hurried to eat our food, but still were not able to make it to our movie. We felt it was not the server's fault that the service was so slow, but rather that there was just not enough staff to handle how busy they were. We noticed at least one table near us that left without being served. The food itself was good though. If you have no where to be, it's worth checking out. They had not shown us a drink menu, but we looked it up on the website and ordered drinks from it, and we were all satisfied with what we got. read more

Was exited to try this place out. It's new! We arrived to a busy entrance, we went to just eat and found it quite confusing as the where we should go. The hostess station was tucked behind the bar. Odd layout. Although the place is well decorated, and staff is well dressed. Once we were seated (which was immediately) overlooking the menu which I found impressive, lots of gluten free options (I'm a celiac) truffle oil fries, ect. Very impressive menu! Took a little while for the waitress to come over, but seemed she was the only one assigned to the seated dining area. So understand she was busy. Drinks were strong, and good. Food was eh... There was 3 of us and 2 of the ppl In our party got their food while the other had to wait. Food was not as impressive as the menu- odd! Also one person at our table received and extremely moldy bun on the burger. We did not notice until the meal was almost over, we addressed it to the waitress who brought it to the manager. It took quite a bit of time for him to come over to us ( according to the waitress they were discussing what to do??) he came over apologetic and ordered us another round of drinks on him, also took that meal off the Bill and gave us $50 in their play cards.The head chef also came out apologetic and gave us a tour of the kitchen ( which is well organized, designed and clean) maybe we just got the wrong night?
