After sledding nearby, we came to chili's, mostly for me to experience nostalgia after having a day of feeling like a kid. It was around 5 pm when we arrived so the parking lot was a bit full and the amount of people inside reflected it as well. We accidentally came in through the to go door, so we walked around to the main entrance. Our hostess sat us down immediately, then our waitress came by a couple minutes later to ask for our drink orders. I've been dying to try their triple dipper so I knew that was a must. We picked the southwestern rolls, Nashville hot fried mozzarella, and honey chipotle chicken crispers. But other than that, we ordered from their 3 for me menu; one big smasher burger and one chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. For the appetizers, we picked the baked potato soup and chips and salsa. The soup was very thick so we ended up using it as a dip for the chips, but it did taste a baked potato with toppings. The chips were amazing as always - very thin, crunchy, and salty. The food came out all at the same so it was hard to choose where to start. The smash burger was very tasty, probably one of the best and cheapest burgers I have had at a chain restaurant. The patty was very moist and juicy, which the cheese was perfectly melted, and the sauce brought everything together nicely, I think if the buns had been toasted a little, it would've made it a bit better. It was very similar to a big mac without so much bread and tasted a bit more fresh. The chicken bacon ranch quesadillas were good but not as good as I remember them. I thought they were crispy as advertised, but was missing some bacon and lacked a cheese pull. I liked the sides it came with, I am a huge sauce and toppings person. Lastly, the triple dipper was okay, not as great as people make it out to be. The mozzarella sticks unfortunately did not have a pull and I felt the sauce was a bit too grainy. I enjoy spicy so it was just right for me. The honey chipotle tenders were tasty and a good size. I wish the sauce was brushed on a little better. The southwestern rolls were crispy, and sort of tasted like an Indian samosa. The tray came with three white dippings sauces; they all tasted the same to me, not sure if they were supposed to all be unique in flavor. Be careful with the game tablet they have on the table. It is $2.99 to play unlimited. It says the price on the screen, but we didn't accept any charges so we thought we'd bypass the system but it showed up on our bill. They are fun games so it was worth it in a sense but there are better things to spend money on. I would come back for the smash burger, customer service and once in a while to re-experience my childhood, but there is better food out there. read more

Well I usually have a good time/experience here BUT this time.. not so much. Service was slow.. multiple people bringing us our drinks/food.. it was not busy at all.. we were never asked how our meal was or if we wanted boxes to go.. waitress never came back after delivering our food.. so we paid on the table tablet and waited (hoped) for her to come back so we could ask for boxes but at that point we just said forget it and left. Very disappointed - although food was good.. we just shared a few apps and sides .. no excuse.. we still tipped well of course -- everyone has their "off days" hope next time is better ! read more

Hi, welcome to Chili's: I had a positive experience at this location (Lincoln, RI). I went with a friend during lunch hour - fairly busy but our server was great. Grab yourself a lunch hour combo or something else on the menu - it's got everything you could imagine in Tex-Mex cuisine. My friend and I did a "2 for $25" where you choose an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert. In addition to this, we did the $8 lunch combo for quesadillas, chips, and chili. Chili at Chili's? My, what a coincidence. I love the "bang for your buck" concept with good variety at a cheap price. I ended up getting sirloin steak with shrimp, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. It was simple but filling. The cheese fries were great - the same goes for the quesadillas. It's a casual dining scene with a bar. Family-friendly and perfect for an outing with friends. Generally speaking, we try to avoid chain restaurants when we can, however, every now and then we need a Chili's fix. I had planned to get the bottomless soup and salad but the three for me was too tempting. Got the chips and salsa and you'll note there is no photo because I have no self control with those thin, fried tortillas. Got my usual chicken enchilada soup but with the three for me, also got the chicken crispers and fries (which I will take home for the kids). Husband got his usual chicken, bacon, ranch quesadillas. I splurged and got a sangria (maybe 2). We got seated right away on a Friday night and service was prompt. I know we will be back again because we always return at some point. read more

Went to Chilis last night the hostess was rude looks like she was having a bad night she took us to our table. it was a tiny table, so I asked if we could have a bigger one, she said NO!!!! with an attitude so I said bye. we left it's not my fault Chilis has tiny tables that are useless, it's not my fault it was that time of the month for the hostess, or her boyfriend or girlfriend dumped her. they should fire her. I know if I go back there and if she is the hostess I'll just leave and go elsewhere. I've been going since I was a kid. I can't remember one time where the service was bad. The food is good and comes out quick.

I regret tipping, I paid on the little iPad thing. Waited 20 minutes for boxes for our food after paying. Ended up just leaving because it took so long. Waitress checked in once with our table. Just went to get quick last minute take out here with my girl . I ordered the "Big mouth crispy chicken sandwich " and my girl got the " Crispy Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers which Claims to come with side of ranch in the picture but they didn't give us any. It's annoying that you have to double check everything these days because of lazy employees. My chicken sandwich bun was nice and soggy . The chicken was not "crispy " by any means instead it was tough and rubbery. I didn't finish it , not a good sandwich at all. Only the fries were decent enough to eat. Nachos....well if you call 8 tortilla chips, should I say, burnt tortilla chips with burnt cheese on them , nachos....then they were great .... Figured the bartender when serving them to us would realize they were burnt. It's a Chili's, a chain I know. But it's a great Chili's! I am usually here during the week for lunch and each time the service and food were prompt. I never had the anxiousness that I was going to be delayed in getting back to work. It's the little things that go a long way with me. I love as I walk up to the door there is a greeter that welcomes us and holds the door open for us :) Typically we arrive around 11:30am and I have NEVER had to wait for someone to greet us or for a table to open up. There is always the option for high tables or dining room. Once seated the servers are usually at our table in 1-2 minutes taking our drink orders. Drinks arrive within 5 minutes and usually we are not ready to provide our order, but no worries, they don't stray too far and seem to always appear when we look up from our menus. Here is where they lose one star. For some reason, the chips tend to be overly salted or stuck together, while edible it is not necessary. If I have time, I usually ask for unsalted chips and it is worth the wait. The food times very well, as soon as we are about halfway through chips the orders arrive. My orders have always arrived as expected based on the descriptions and prepared as requested, for example, medium for a burger, is typically medium. The lunch combo menu is a great value, good quality and takes no time at all to arrive, but if you are a slow eater, you may want to pass, because it is a lot of food for lunch portions. I love the chili - they use chunk tomatoes and shredded beef and a touch of melted cheese on top. Very tasty and terrific to dip the chip appetizer in as well. For me, the quesadilla is my go to entree - chicken, bacon, ranch. Very flavorful sometimes a bit too salty, but that's rare. Refills are not a problem - the lunch staff are ninja like and very attentive. They sneak up with soda refills without us having to ask and take away empty cups and plates so it doesn't look like we are hoarding dishes. The place has only gotten better recently with the pay terminals at the table. LOVE that! You can split the bill, it has a tip meter and it prints your receipt! It really can't get any more convenient and efficient for me. I highly recommend this place for a work lunch. I know, the staff and food keep us coming back. read more

Awful service.. upon entering, hostess made us wait only stating that it would be a few minutes.. when we asked exactly what a few minutes meant, she responded, well more like ten minutes.. meanwhile it's 2:15pm on a Sunday, and they are not busy. Finally seated at the smallest booth on earth for two people.. ordered the trio app and a drink.. the margarita mix was spoiled and tasted mad funky, when asked to fix it, the waitress just said order a replacement, no apologies.. the second came with little/no alcohol, just mix.. The app trio was "dropped" by the food runner with two plates tossed on this small ass table. The sliders where over cooked and dry with congealed cheese.. the southwestern egg rolls where dry and looked like they were sitting in a pan waiting to be freed.. they had a film on the filling.. disgusting.. the best was the fact that our apps were served, within minutes the entree was served. Like no room on this small ass table and the runner left us literally holding the plates in the air while they took off.. the salad had quesadillas on the side, which were rock hard with congealed cheese in the center.. and the chicken waffle crispers had the most sawdust dry waffles I have ever tasted.. they were cold and dry and bland. Did help that they served that entree wrong with incorrect sides. The best was after this dining experience to be handed the check, and the waitress disappeared, we sat for over twenty minutes trying to exit this horror show of nightmare customer service. I've been to this Chili's for years and it has never let me down. Me and my group of friends go in there and were sat down right away (we made reservations). The service is great, the hostess always made sure we were okay and needed anything. The food especially was great, the burgers were juicy and the chicken was crispy and moist. The only down side was when it came to the checks. There were problems with splitting checks but we didn't mind it was an honest mistake but my friend was charged for two orders of fries but he only got one order out of the two. But overall an amazing experience and would definitely come again and again. Also make reservations because of COVID they have less seating. read more

Met a friend here on a Wednesday night at bar. Took 10 minutes to get bartenders attention to get a drink. Took another 15 minutes to get attention to put in food order. Threw silverware in front of me. Horrible social skills. Our food came out cold. I told him and he sent it back. I ordered guacamole and chips while we waited. Guacamole came out 5 min later, I asked runner where chips were- blank look on face, walks away.....chips another 10 (after I asked bartender where the f they were). Blamed it on food runners not doing their job. Food returned lukewarm. I didn't send it back again because I was starving and didn't want balls in my food. My friend didn't eat hers. Bartender didn't ask how food was until he noticed hers was completely uneaten. I asked him to take it off bill. It was "sizzling shrimp" tacos aka lukewarm chewy shrimp tacos. Unhappy faces all around bar. One lady was pissed that she waited forever for check. He never asked if we needed anything else. I ordered another drink when I was able to get his attention and comped it because basically food and service completely sucks here. I forgot to give him my coupon for free guacamole and chips because I was so annoyed. Management must be really lenient because it's a joke. Watched a waitress cough into her hand then serve drinks. We ended up waiting an hour and a half, we kept going in to see how long the wait was and we just ended up leaving, after an hour and a half and a group of 6 going in front of us.
