They are so friendly to me and my wife. Not too many bars in Rhode Island are as friendly as the ones here in Charleston South Carolina, but this one sure is. Although I have never personally tried the food, a customer at another bar told me that lower level has excellent food. Next time my wife and I go to Rhode Island, we are going to eat there. It was ehh, not bad but not really good either. It looked terrible but wasn't as bad as it looked. It was soft but lacked flavor and was sitting in a pool of melted butter topped with runny piles of mediocre whipped cream. Surprisingly it didn't come with ice cream. The service wasn't bad but one waitress kept vacuuming. I have never in my life been to a restaurant that vacuums during service.
