    Crispy chicken Alfredo
    Matthew D.

Great spot in Cumberland! The restaurant is smaller than I thought it would be and it's a little loud in there. However, the interior itself is beautiful and I enjoyed our seating arrangements. I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you choose to go. We started with complimentary bread and butter. Not my favorite complimentary bread- I found it dry and not cut very well. However, free is free! My iced tea with mango was very good though. I definitely recommend some of their flavor shots and as a helpful hint- their refills are not free. I ordered the chicken Alfredo. The wait time was long (around 45 minutes) but not unpleasant. Our waitress was apologetic but I didn't find the wait to be incredibly egregious. When the food did come out I have to say it was some of the best Alfredo I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, pasta was cooked well, and the Alfredo was creamy and perfectly thick. Almost like an Alfredo Mac and cheese. They're not giving the food away and I do think some portion sizes could be more generous for the price point. However, my dish was exceptional and our waitress was very kind so I have no issue with giving Pat's a 4 star ranking.

The Sicilian Chicken is Highly recommended! I found the meal and service to be good. I felt the experience warranted 4 stars NOT the 3, I read on Yelp....

We walk in and we were asked to wait for a table the restaurant was half empty so the hostess made believe she was cleaning the table for us but she did not clean nothing she made us wait for no reason right then I should of left . As for the food let's start with the apps the fried mozzarella was absolutely refried frozen. next app was the calamari very good a little under cooked for me but still good. the pork's chops were chewy and lifeless . My son hated his chicken Parm, again not hand breaded definitely frozen. we will not be back. I hate to leave a business, a one star but between the hostess and our waitress, constantly correcting us telling us there's no free refills, they leave me no choice but to be honest to my fellow yelpers. we are a older couple we know most places don't have free refill DUH my wife took the left overs and when I got home I trew them in the trash. times are hard for everone we want to try new places but with such bad service and lack of good food we are better off going to the places we have gone to for years. Very disappointing and waste of money. Ps the waitress told us no refills do yourself a favor either go to chellos or the patriot diner

Was excited to try this new location in Cumberland. Cumberland definitely needs more restaurants and so this is a welcome edition. Service was alright, our waitress did not wait to put in our entrees after appetizers as requested and it felt like we were being rushed out. Drinks were good, but pricey. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. I had the chicken Sorrento with pink vodka sauce and the homemade pasta. There was an upcharge for the sauce and for the pasta. This made this meal over $35, and it was bland. I never have to season my food at the table but this needed it. I'm not sure if I will return, as there are better options nearby.

Recently had dinner at Pats with my husband and my in-laws and it was AMAZING! The ambiance was inviting. The food, the drinks, the staff, and the management were exceptional. They were very attentive and friendly. I can't wait to go back and have another amazing night. Definitely recommend!!!

Server came over to give us waters, came back quickly twice to take drinks then food orders. We were told our appetizers would come out shortly. Then we waited. Our food was finally brought out (all together). After we got everything we wanted more drinks. No one came back to check on the food or refill our drinks. Food was good, not great. The dipping sauces we ordered for the pretzel were really subpar. Beer cheese that was split and congealed, and guac that was dark and slimy. Everything else was decent. The standout part of the meal was actually the soup of the day, clam chowder. Cashing out with a gift card was a pain. We were also not provided an itemized receipt. The amount seemed way higher than expected. Either way, payment required two different transactions so we could tip on a credit card. Not their fault, but also our original server must have left, and the one that took over apparently was the only one on the floor even as the dining room started to fill up. Had we ordered more drinks like we wanted, it would have brought us over our gift card amount so we could have paid the remained with a credit card. I don't think we would go back.

Good Italian isn't hard to find in RI. Do I hold a grudge? You betcha. We were there to celebrate a family birthday and that family member is no longer here. July 31, 2011 Let me begin by saying that the food is excellent if not a bit pricey for the area. In fact, Trattoria WAS my new favorite restaurant until my experience last night. We arrived for 6:30 reservations for five of us and had a great, attentive waiter. A little after an hour into our meal, the hostess ushered in a group of 32 into the restaurants side room. A couple minutes after they went in, they were all ushered back out because someone said the room was not ready. We later found out that they were 15 minutes early for their reservation. For the entire duration of that 15 minutes the owner/manager allowed 32+ people to mill around in the middle of the restaurant floor. Not just near the bar but around the main entrance to the kitchen. In fact, they were packed in so tight, we were unable to talk, servers could not leave the kitchen area, and no one in a position of authority addressed the situation. During this time drinks were frequently passed over our heads and someone began using the back of my wife's chair as a leaning post. Once they disbursed, we tried to address the situation with the manager only to find out that she is the owner as well. Here is where we go South. She did apologize for the situation but made and excuse for it as well. "They were early and I tried to get them to move. I politely asked several times but they would not listen to me" Let me call the WAAMBULANCE! You are the owner and manager and you are unable to manage a crowd in your facility? Seriously? So we stated twice that it should have been handled better. The owners response? "I already apologized, what more do you want from me?" Oh, and if she should read this, I would note that your mother should have raised you better. It is impolite to point your finger in your customers faces while you are theoretically providing an apology. When one of our party said they weren't inspired to come back, her answer? "good!" Seriously? Wonderful customer service skills. We ended agreeing to disagree because she clearly was not going to leave our table without the last word and an attempt to prove that she was right. The waiter tried to salvage it but the mood of the night was spoiled and we all felt it. We ate a decent meal and left. No one offered dessert or coffee....we were brought our check as soon as the plates were cleared. Did I feel welcome? Certainly not. Would I go back? Never. The owner's attitude was so poor and callous I will never again go to Trattoria Romana. I'm not sure if she figures that they are busy enough so who cares about a few customers or if she is simply bitchy by nature. She surely could use a significant amount of customer service training. On the final bill, they did remove 1 round of drinks as a courtesy (I had asked for 2). But in the end, there are more than enough dining choices in the area that welcome your business and treat you like a king. Try Federal Hill or D. Carlos in Smithfield. You may just avoid the worst dining experience you have ever had. I can say without a doubt that I have never been treated as rudely in a service situation. Being yelled at by the owner in front of other customers was simply beyond believable. Others did complain but not as forcefully after they saw our treatment.

We both ordered the Classic Smash Burger, one with cheese and one without. Unfortunately, both burgers were utterly tasteless, with virtually no seasoning detected at all. The Chomp Sauce that was supposed to elevate the burger was so sparse it barely made an appearance, leaving the burgers bland. Honestly, the bun was the best part. The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. After driving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island as a special Mother's Day treat, it ended up being a very disappointing experience, especially given the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The bartender barely made eye contact, and when I ordered a spicy tequila soda, I was served with Tajín sprinkled on top--not exactly what I'd expect for a spicy drink. The food was equally underwhelming. The pepperoni pizza came out with the pepperoni completely burnt. When we mentioned it, we were told that's simply how they prepare it, so keep that in mind if you order pizza here. The wings were decent and had a good amount of meat on them, but that was about the only highlight. The nachos arrived swimming in grease, making them difficult to enjoy, and the toppings were just average. The French fries were another issue--they appeared to have been cooked in the same fryer as seafood. This wasn't disclosed, and the fries came out tasting noticeably fishy. Thankfully, I don't have a seafood allergy, but that could be a serious concern for someone who does. The ambiance was fine, but overall the food and service left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Upon recommendation of our delightful server Kobe, we opted for the Hot Mess: ezzo cupping pepperoni, piri-piri sauce, fresnos, queso fresco. Pizza is Detroit style & the edges were perfection, I could have used a bit more sauce but the piri-piri drizzle was fire. We both had a glass of wine. We were in the mood for a nightcap. I selected a coffee stout, Jolly Woodsman by Banded Brewing. Our server asked if I wanted a taste before ordering a glass, I was happy that I took him up on the offer - it wasn't my favorite. I was laughing with him that hubby & I are beer weirdos - we like the lightest & the darkest beers. He offered to bring me a taste of the Night Shift Brewing's Imperial stout, Dynasty. And along with that, he also brought the two lightest Night Shift Brewing beers. We loved all three of them! I would definitely go back for the pizza & the beer but the games are calling my name!
