Pollo con Risotto Zucca

We had a lovely dinner here recently. We came in at 5pm without a reservation and were able to be seated quickly, even though it was already pretty crowded. I was a little nervous coming with two young kids, but they were very accommodating and brought out our daughter's food quickly after we ordered it. Our dinners were very delicious. The Brussels sprout special was also exceptionally good! The restaurant itself was large and not too loud given the number of people there. We would definitely like to come back and try some more dishes

Siena in Smithfield is a lovely and extremely attractive venue whereevery waitstaff individual aims to please. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our first course - Caesar salads - crisp Romaine lettuce tossed in a tasty homemade lemon Caesar dressing with croutons & Parmigiano Reggiano cheese or Pasta e Fagiole Bianco soup filled with cannellini beans in a white sauce with prosciutto stock. The delicious Italian sliced bread as well as the phenomenal focaccia bread accompanied those dishes. Our entrees included Tagliatelle alla Bolognese consisting of noodles tossed with a Bolognese sauce made with pork, pancetta, a pasta Alfredo special, and Pollo Saltimbocca - a Scallopine chicken breast pan-sauteed with Prosciutto (but there was none on my entree), fresh sage leaves, marsala wine and roasted chicken stock, served with vegetable and potatoes upon request. The latter entree was a bit disappointing.

I haven't been to Siena in a long time! I was pleasantly surprised! Sat at the bar, drinks were great - well shaken Cosmo! Bread was good. Ordered a special salad that was out of this world and the pork chop. Flavors were delicious! The bartender was super friendly and attentive! Glad I tried it again, will definitely put this in the rotation!

Went here for a birthday celebration and it was amazing! The servers were so friendly and accommodating for our large party. The food was so good! We had a set menu with some options to choose from. The caprese salad was so refreshing and perfect to start with. For the entree I went with the filet di manzo alla mamma and it couldn't have been better. For dessert I went with the torta chocolata and I've never had a richer piece of chocolate cake. Truly everything was a 10/10! Can't wait to go back.

Calamari Fritti

Went here for a family dinner with a party of 8 a few months ago and had one of those nights where unfortunately nothing seemed to go right (will spare details). Thankfully the staff were very attentive and apologetic; it really helped save the evening. Shout out to Tasha M for her kind and pleasant service! If you haven't been to the Smithfield location before, it's beautiful inside with plenty of parking available. The bar area is sophisticated and doesn't feel like a lounge. We were seated in the small room in the back that I imagine is available for private functions so it was fairly quiet; a great thing for a family dinner. Food was fairly average. Calamari looked phenomenal but was a bit tough and chewy. The fried peppers are a huge bonus. We had the crab risotto special and it was once again pretty average. There was a good amount of crab but overall it lacked a bit in flavor. The banana cheesecake was decent and a nice ending to the meal.

Vodka pizza and charcuterie board

This is such a cute spot for apps and drinks with your friends! Tried the vodka sauce pizza with eggplant and chicken and it was delicious! Loved the charcuterie board too . It was the perfect size for the two of us. Our server was very helpful when selecting the cheeses we wanted. Would definitely come back to try some entree menu items.

What an awesome and special place to spend an evening. We have been here many times for birthdays , holidays , etc. This occasion was for New Year's Eve. A lot of places fall short on this night. It's busy. Food is wrong. Reservations are late. Staff rushes you. Not the case here. We were say at our time and bread and water quickly brought over. As an aside please bring more than one slice of that delicious focaccia. I had to fight hubs for it. lol. They have a nice wine and beer list as well as some amazing cocktails. I had a lavender lemon drop. It was perfect. For dinner I started off with a salad with all kinds of tasty toppings. I had the baked gnocchi and it was so so cheesy and yummy. Hubs had the braised beer with pappardelle. Our food was Delcious , server right on point. This is not a cheap night out but I am a big believer of you get what you pay for. Everything was fresh and tasty. I have a big appetite so finished mine but hubs has a normal one and took half home. It's a really great spot. They take reservations and I recommend making one as it gets busy. Cheers !

The food is always amazing here. But let me just talk about the manager Andrew for a second. He was amazing today when someone accidentally used the wrong card for our order's. Manager Andrew went above & beyond for a friend of mine when an error occurred regarding her card accidentally being charged $150, when it was only supposed to be charged $11. The manager voided the transaction but unfortunately it can take 3-5 days & she wouldn't have any money for her trip tomorrow so he personally Venmo'd her $100 out of his personal account- that is going above & beyond & he deserves a raise!! He didn't think twice about helping a loyal customer! This has happened to me many times & I have basically been told "too bad" but he went above and beyond & sent her $100 out of his personal account! Thanks again Andrew! I can't even begin to state how great of a person this guy was! My sister-in-law was extremely happy and grateful that they offered her a solution in such a positive way! Thanks again Andrew! We will definitely be back!

Swung by here today just to meet some friends and have a few drinks and seek redemption from my last visit when I was less than impressed with their Chicken Milanese. Ordered the Neopolitan Margherita and it was simply delicious. Sauce was tangy and zesty and it was the perfect side dish to accompany a couple of cold Stellas. Two slices hit the spot for everyone each (8 slices total) and we all went home happy. Sit at the bar for even quicker service !

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!

It's a little over a mile from Down City Providence and about the same distance from Federal Hill. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and has a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant and plenty of street parking. The restaurant has a local family feel to it; we liked the atmosphere. We were greeted by Armando, the owner and chef. He provided background information about his new restaurant and his experience as a chef in the Providence area. He also explained that the Porchetta was homemade and that he'd cook anything on the menu to our exact specifications. He'd create a dish, sandwich, combine different plates, etc. Our party of four ordered: * Porchetta & Eggs with Breakfast Potatoes $15 * French Toast with Strawberries and Whipped Cream $12 * Omelet with Breakfast Potatoes $10 * Chicken Cutlet Sandwich $16 I ordered the Porchetta & Eggs, and requested the eggs be prepared as an omelet. This dish was very tasty and nicely prepared. I also tried the fried chicken cutlet, which was hot, tasty and nicely executed. All plates were completely consumed, and all diners agreed the food was excellent. Our brunch was only $78 with tip, we thought the prices were very reasonable and the meal a great value. We look forward to our return!

The establishment was a little bit smaller than I anticipated, we sat in the bar area because the chairs are not meant for wide hipped people, and the booths were not available. We came for brunch around 11:30-12 on a Saturday, there was plenty of street parking available at that time. The inside decor was beautiful and as expected, I love the theme. They still have mimosa flights, but they don't have their signature latte flights anymore so I was a little disappointed about that, I was also disappointed that it took almost 5 minutes for us to be seated. Let me start with the burrata, wayyyyy to many peppers and barely any cheese and the toast was very thick, DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have never even heard of burrata with peppers. Unfortunately, that and the mini cannoli flight were the only things made correctly. I'm not sure who was working in the kitchen, but I ordered a regular BLTA and they put turkey on it, and my friend ordered the pesto bacon sandwich and they gave her an egg sandwich. I ordered a s'mores iced latte and they didn't even put any of the toppings on it, I had to have it remade. One waitress that worked there looked aggravated the whole time. Although the place is aesthetically pleasing, the service is not amazing and I wouldn't recommend coming here for their food because it's definitely lower quality than you're paying for... The desserts and the beverages are good at least, although I did not get to try there liquor items I am sure this would be a better spot to go to at night for some desserts and drinks.

"Hey Antonio," Foo says, "I'll have a cheeseburger, medium, no bacon, fries is okay." As Antonio put down my Manhattan I told him that I was at 22 Bowen's and ran into Chef Eric. Antonio said Eric invented the grind ratios for the Slow Rhode burgers. "Well, Foo believes you best burger in city. Not in state but in city," said Foo. Antonio said, "Who best in state?" Foo, me, the reviewer of the review leaned back in the barstool, looked around the funky ambiance space, and stroked the long scraggly beard Foo tries to grow and said, "I believe best burger is Clarke Cooke House on English muffin with the Gorgonzola." On a busy Saturday night, we were prepared to not find space, but gave it a shot. Luckily, there was a perfect corner of the bar had just opened & we grabbed the seats. The atmosphere was convivial, upbeat & super comfortable, despite the crowd. Service was fabulously friendly & competent - the bartender handling the packed house with ease. We decided to go with an array of small plates to try as much as possible. The menu it designed perfectly for grazing & the prices are super reasonable! The selections are definitely on the comfort-food side with a strong southern hint. Ingredients are often locally sourced - something I greatly admire. We began with the a small plate of Pimento Cheese Toast. Just a few bites each but a nice start. Duck Drumettes. The horseradish-y white sauce was delectable! Even my non-duck loving partner was blown away. I was happy to hear that the salad was available in a half portion - enough for a light fresh break to our heavy selections. Next came a much heavier choice - the gravy fries with duck confit. We left off the cheese, but it wasn't missed at all. These were decadent, delicious & super filling! Next time we'd get a half portion - that would have been plenty! Our final dish was the Shrimp & Grits, but we'd already filled up on the other dishes & ended up asking for this to go. Even reheated, it was a perfectly delicious accompaniment to our brunch the next day! I'd be tempted to order this to-go again for just that purpose. While we didn't imbibe, the cocktail list looked wonderful & the bar was very well stocked. We did enjoy a nice selection from the interesting beer list. The sandwiches that we saw come out looked delicious & huge! We'd love to try them as well. We will be back - this is certainly a new favorite for us!
