Super cute ladies brunch spot! It has all the things for this category: - Super cute atmosphere (think lilac accents, 3 disco balls, a beautiful Renaissance ceiling and a flower wall) - The menu! (Thibk banana walnut waffles, strawberry French toast with cream cheese layers and the fresh mozzarella on the panini's!) - 2 pages of specialty martinis (and they do floghts) - Specialty coffee It was a girls brunch day and I loved this place! The music was bumping. The food was delicious. I would highly suggest Cafe Italia! (I had a strawberry mimosa, we shared buffalo chicken dip- those litanfried pita crackers were delicious, banana walnut waffles- so flavorful and chocolate peanut butter cake- think more peanut butter mouse inside. It was ok.) Our waitress was sweet but they were out ofna few things like brown sugar falling for a lof of drinks and my friend ordered a salad that featured fennel and they had no fennel.
Been seeing them all over social media and the tempting flights they offer. Went on a Sunday for brunch and tried the hot toffee latte which was fine. Boyfriend had the iced version and it was not up to par, legit tasted like milk and no espresso. The milk to espresso ratio was not it!! He had the breakfast burrito and strawberry French toast which the French toast was so good!! The burrito looked good too but I was too full to try it. Was well made, fresh ingredients and thicccc. I had the bbq ck flatbread which I really enjoyed. Flavors married well together and overall quality of the food is good. Price was not but it's fed hill so that's not surprising. On street parking but during holiday season is free for a certain timeframe.
What an absolutely dreamy cafe! We shared a latte flight, which was a great way to sample several drinks at Cafe Italia. From peanut butter cup to pistachio, my vote goes to the matcha. Even with the alcohol, the earthiness of the green tea still came through, which I really enjoyed. The presentation was adorable, and I appreciated that each drink in the flight was labeled. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the vibrant design and beautiful art on the ceiling. Cafe Italia really nailed their interior, capturing that dreamy, angelic vibe throughout the space. There were plenty of seats, but it seemed we came in on a super busy night when everything was full. Luckily, we snagged a window seat overlooking Federal Hill - a total win in my book. I had mixed feelings about the banana cream pie. The cream was delicious, but the graham cracker crust didn't hold up as well as I'd hoped. The caramelized banana could've used a bit more time, as it tasted slightly underripe. Still, the presentation was lovely. A good spot for dessert - I'd definitely come back on a less busy night. We did have a bit of a wait, but our waitress was so friendly and personable that it made up for it!
I came here with a few friends for a bachelorette party brunch. Prior to this day, I had never ever realized this place was on the Atwells strip since there are so many small business side by side. I arrived around noon, and when I pulled open that door it felt like I had transported to another little world. There's a lot of light pink and purple, lots of Greek mythological looking statues and concepts, along with gold fixtures. Oh, and a disco ball! There is a more private little elevated area by the window that could comfortably host a party of 5-6 people and the bar has about 5 chairs. Since we were going to be a group of 9, we sat at the tables. The tables are nice for smaller groups of 2 or maybe 3, but for large groups it can get tight since the tables are small and round - but we made it work. During our time there, it got really busy, and it seemed like there were only two servers so it was sometimes hard to get small stuff like water, utensils, napkins. Considering this, our food came out at a good time, and still warm. I ordered the Turkey BTLA, but requested to have pesto mayo added to it, as well as truffle added to my tater tots. I thought it was a good sized sandwich, with good flavor. I would've liked if there was pork bacon, but since they're halal, they only carried turkey bacon. I was also able to try the buffalo chicken dip and though it was not spicy, it was creamy and the pita chips were extremely good. For a drink, I sipped away at a strawberry latte. It was a very pretty drink, but it was a bit too sweet for me. I definitely recommend mixing it all together for a homogenous flavor. For the ambiance and the location, I would say prices were fair, and the menu is long - both drinks and food - so there is something for everyone. Parking can be terrible depending on the time of day but there's usually spots open on side streets.
Café Italia on Federal Hill is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the service was top notch--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the Caprese Avocado Toast and was pleasantly surprised to receive not one, but two generously topped slices. The combination of creamy avocado, fresh mozzarella, and juicy tomato was spot on--both in taste and presentation. It felt like a great value for the price. To drink, I tried the Spicy Mocha Latte, which delivered just the right amount of heat to complement the rich chocolate and espresso flavors. Unique and delicious. The ambiance of the café really pulls everything together. The decor is warm and thoughtfully styled, making the experience all the more enjoyable. If you haven't checked out Café Italia yet, I highly recommend giving it a try--you won't be disappointed.
Very impressive decor here! The walls and ceiling have cherubs, angels, and gods painted~ they seem to serve breakfast foods for most of the day and drinks. I had a turkey pesto panini and it was good. Not the main reason I'd come here. The fries were perfectly crunchy and warm. I would definitely come back for more of the drinks. The fruit loop martini was delicious~ the menu was long with different flavors and k truly enjoyed and want to try more of their martinis! Service was good. I was checked in on, and even if I didn't get my server, someone jumped in and added to my order. They seem to have great communication because when k updated the server of my addition, they all knew what I ordered and from whom, and apologized for being busy. There was a bit of a wait due to the busy hour I arrived at. The evening menu looks like something I'd like to try next!
By day, it's a cozy coffee shop; by night, it transforms into a cocktail bar. The space is decorated with Greek mythology art and features a disco ball, giving it a unique vibe. I tried the mezcal espresso martini and the Thin Mint cocktail. I was skeptical about the mezcal at first, but the martini turned out to be delicious and surprisingly good. The Thin Mint drink made for a great dessert-style cocktail, perfect after a night out on Federal Hill. The drinks were strong and the service was excellent. On the downside, cocktails were around $16-17, but it would've been helpful if the menu included the prices. Also the ambiance and the lightning could be improved at night. Overall it was a good experience.
I saw a lot of hype for this place online so I was excited to try it! I enjoyed the food, but I will say it was nothing fantastic. I'm glad I tried it, but I'm not itching to go back. The tiramisu iced latte was great! I will say that the highlight was definitely my drink. If did take over 10 minutes for them to bring it to the table after ordering it, however. We were probably one of three tables in the restaurant, but the presentation and taste pretty much made up for that. The food itself was good but nothing crazy. I was surprised that the caprese panini wasn't really a panini, but rather pieces of mozzarella and tomato on a tiny toast triangle. The tater tots were also too hard for my liking. My friend got the pancake tacos, which were just pancakes served in taco holders to give it that shape. You didn't eat it like a taco. She said it tasted good but if she had had some butter on there, it would've been great. As for service, you sat yourself, which is fine. But no one came over to give us an additional menu to the one that was already on the table, so I had to take one from the table right next to me. And again, there were only three occupied tables when we came in. We got waters right away but our drinks took forever. I also asked for the check, which is something I never do, because it seemed they weren't going to bring it out after checking on us toward the end of our meal. Ambiance-wise, the place is well-decorated, it's like disco-coquette-Italian. The decor felt on par with Kids Adventure Cuts- like they put a lot of work into maintaining the theme, but everything is a little cheap. But still! It was nice. Out of the ordinary. The patrons next to you will be right next to you; it's a small place on Atwells Ave. so you expect it. Street parking, paid meter, all that jazz. I'd still recommend giving it a go!
What an amazing place to have breakfast and lunch. Firstly, Liz & all the people work there are wonderful. Top notch service. The banana bread martini was out of this world. The strawberry cheesecake french toast was great. Portion sizes are perfect. I took some paninis home. The chipotle chicken is fabulous. The chicken parm is good, but, the sauce is bland. It really needs something. Definitely coming back.

10/10 service and a gorgeous cafe! The cafe has plenty of space and perfect for WFH days. The barista literally went above and beyond when I asked for recommendations. He was so fun to talk to and then he made me a matcha latte with banana cold foam. While the matcha quality wasn't the best the overall drink was delicious, especially the cold foam. He told me that the cold foam is house made with really banana. read more
Café Italia really does remind me of a café I stopped at in Italy. Turin to be exact. But really, Italy has these little cafe's throughout and I love these marble and metal tables, the ceiling mural and the cute cupid motif. It's warm and cozy and although there were a lot of women during our visit, my three male companions didn't seem to be uncomfortable. Maybe it's the Italian vibe. We met up for a beverage and Café Italia offers coffee drinks, wine and beer among other things. I went with a hot cocoa (it was that or hot tea). Cocoa was definitely a good choice. It was lovely to look at and very chocolatey. I had heard they have a gelato flight available, which I did not see on the menu and did not ask about, but I will love coming back here in warmer months to check that out. The space is on the small side with some bar seating and a bench along the front side-walls with those cute marble tables and chairs in front. They get a good amount of seating in the small space without feeling too crowded. One waitress was managing the space alone and she did a wonderful job. Tattoos and piercings and sweet as a peach. I just want to hug her. Maybe that's just me. Parking is on street (some paid so look for the signs!) or in one of the paid lots in the area. One restroom for all at the back is modern and clean. This cute little cafe in Federal Hill had a lot of charm and class. The decor is great. For example they have a painting covering the entire ceiling ( a la Sistine Chapel) as well some many Italian inspired decor all over. We met Jen and Ron for a snack and our server was very attentive and came by several times checking on our food. My husband got a bagel with cream cheese and he liked it very much. I got a glass of Cabernet and it was robust and delicious. I saw lots of great food passing by on their way to customer tables, so this is a place to re-try for sit down food. They have desserts, sandwiches, salads, waffles, panini, cannolis, etc. Something for everybody ! read more

I first spotted Cafe Italia on Instagram and you know how you'll be scrolling online and find the absolute CUTEST place and then look at the location and it's ALWAYS IN LA? I love a good martini but I'm not hopping on a place to get one. So imagine my absolute delight when I found the CUTEST place only 15 minutes away from me! As soon as I could, I high-tailed it to this bubblegum pink, cozy cafe, slid up to the bar, and drooled over the expansive espresso martini list. I ended up ordering the black cherry martini and it was HEAVEN. My friend and I came here strictly for drinks, but we did peruse the menu and vowed to come back for lunch or dinner next time. The food menu is a short, but well-cultivated menu with apps, salads, sandwiches, seafood and "Girl Dinner" if you want an Insta-worthy surprise! read more

After weeks of planning with my friends and -busy life schedule ... we finally arrived at Cafe Italia, which we chose after watching many IG posts ... we arrived around 11:30ish , super friendly and very welcoming hosts... very enthusiastic about decor and ambiance! UNTIL -water served hot no ice... after asking for water second time.... Drinks arrived 45 minutes later! I had a spritz... delicious and then chocolate dubai expresso martini ordered. Drinks were delicious! Now, its almost 1pm! No food yet, when it arrives... very disappointed, I couldn't even take a photo of presentation, horrible. Like they say... lets give it a bite. Cold... and uncooked !! I had the eye opener! Literally!! Waitress came around and very politely I expressed my disappointment and displeasure... we were not charged for the 1 plate, however still an experience I cannot imagine happening in such a nice spot! read more

My friend and I had been wanting to visit Cafe Italia and we are so happy we finally did. She arrived before I did and grabbed a table on Sunday morning. When I arrived, I was completely blown away by how beautiful the decor and cozy Cafe Italia was. There were countertop seats, velvet sofas, Sistine Chapel inspired mural on the ceiling, mythology god and goddess painted on the walls, cherubs on the chandeliers, and a Pegasus horse statue. I ordered the pesto avocado toast with fried egg, spinach, cheese, and tomato ($13.52). This was absolutely delicious and bigger than just the one piece of avocado toast most cafes would usually serve. It was super filling. I also ordered an iced matcha latte ($6.14) and this was okay. I really liked the cup it came in, but I've had better matcha lattes elsewhere. My friend and I split a slice of their banana cream pie ($11.44). The dessert was very light and fluffy. Service was amazing and servers were very friendly. I will definitely be coming back in the future. I saw other tables order paninis with tater tots and it looked amazing!! read more

The food was ok I had the pesto avocado toast it was ok, I was not to impressed with banana cafe latte way over priced, I ordered it hot but when it finally got to the table the coffee was room temperature and the flavor was weak for it to be a latte.. the presentation of the food was good but over all I say three stars ... the ambiance was ok the art on the walls very cute, the place is very small therefore it was pretty loud. The service was med, like I said by the time my coffee got to the table it was no longer hot... it was nice to try this new spot but one time is good enough for me.. I would recommend for one time experience, maybe you will discover a better dish ;) read more

I was craving an espresso martini and this place BLEW US AWAY. They didn't just make classic espresso martinis. They literally had anything you could ever want in an espresso martini. If I lived here, I would have to try them all. My husband got a chocolate covered cherry version and I got the Reese's version and both were out of this world. This place is so freaking cool, I wish we had one close to us. And the aesthetic was SO clean and pretty. I was obsessed with the cotton candy marble floors. You have to check it out. read more
I really enjoyed the ambiance at this restaurant. The decor is really adorable and the atmosphere is well. The only thing is the place is on the smaller side. There are not many tables- so if it's a busy night- not sure if you're going to be able to get a table or not. I came with 2 of my coworkers after work and it was pretty dead- we left work a little early- so we ended up there around 4pm. I was shocked there was no rush while we were there. Our waiter was attentive and nice and gave us some good suggestions for drinks and food. Their menu is quite large and their drink menu is even bigger- but some of the items aren't always available- so the menu can be a little confusing- especially in terms of times and availability. I've gone a few times to enjoy a coffee will working. Great place to hit up during the week, staff was friendly and specialty coffees are great. It's less crowded than Nitro bar and cheaper. Try the tiramisu specialty coffee read more

From the service, to the ambiance, to the drinks: everything was so wonderful to experience! The art and the decor were super nice, cute, and fun. Our waitress was kind and patient with us. I wanted to try the Dubai Chocolate Martini, but unfortunately, they ran out of an ingredient, but I did try the Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini and it was delicious and made perfectly. I highly recommend here as a late night after dinner spot. I didn't try any food because I just had dinner. read more

Cutest spot in Providence! For a few hours we spent on this beautiful city, we decided to stop by this viral spot I saw on Tik Tok. Was not expecting a lot cause usually those kinda places can disappoint, but was pleasantly surprised by Cafe Italia! Interior is so modernly decorated, with pink and historic/artsy touches. Cappuccino was perfect, and the server was so accommodating letting me order the Pancake Tacos after 4 pm, which are usually a brunch item. The rest of my group also loved the Tiramisu, Banana Cream Pie cake and Cannoli flight. Overall, a great little spot to have a good cup of coffee and treating yourself to a nice dessert read more
Wow, My experience was phenomenal! While waiting for my friend to arrive, I grabbed a table and was brought a water immediately without having to ask and was greeted so nicely. I ordered a small iced caramel cappuccino with added caramel sauce and "WOW" it was made to perfection!! I also had to try the banana cream pie and oh my goodness it was so DARN good. This dessert had caramelized bananas on top which I thought was a nice touch! This cafe has it all, good music, desserts, service and coffee. read more

Cute cafe, nicely decorated drinks! I got a beach bum latte (coconut flavor) it was topped with a teddy Graham cracker inside of a peach ring. Latte tasted okay, not as strong as what I'm used to, maybe I needed another shot of espresso? Nicely decorated little cafe but I think the chairs need a DEEP cleaning. read more

First Timer - My friend Sandra came here for Mother's Day and said the food was good so this time we came to try their martini flights. A single martini is $16 and a flight is $42 so we got one flight of espresso martinis and shared it. The martinis were OK. Nice presentation. For a snack we got a charcuterie board and it was pretty good. The service was great. It was cute and girly inside however the decor was a little confusing! My friend Renda was not happy about it at all. You don't mix Greece and Italy together. The music was loud and didn't go with the vibe so that threw us off. Food/Drinks: I am soooo obsessed. Rhode Island needed a spot where you can get a delicious martini and desserts ! I love it. The martinis were strong and the coconut martini was so delicious. Came in for the Grand Opening and all I can say is WOW! Today happens to be my birthday and I knew I wanted to come here for a nightcap. One of the owners immediately greeted us, thanked us for coming, and found us a seat because he heard it was my birthday. As a millennial woman, I am no stranger to an espresso martini... these are GOOD. I got a classic (dark) and the caramel and both were 10/10. You can really taste the coffee and it's very balanced. Sara was an amazing waitress! If you go, either ask for her or be honored if you have her. The entire bar sang happy birthday to me, which was so special! The staff even brought over a cheesecake which was DELICIOUS!! The entire spot is so well decorated and they had a live DJ. Will definitely be back for either coffee during the day or more martinis! Had to go again since I loved their Dessert martinis and just HAD to try their spritz cocktails. The Apollo did not disappoint, it was by far my most favorite. Our service was great, he was super attentive to our table and even offered to move our items over to another table for better lighting when he saw us taking photos. The noise level was great, it was the perfect volume to sit outside of the cafe and get some work done while still being able to focus or talk to a friend! read more
New cocktail bar in Federal Hill!! Cafe Italia opened four days ago and it's already THE spot to go to. They specialize in espresso martinis, dessert martinis, and fun spritz drinks. The walls are full of beautiful art of the Greek gods. There is a disco ball by the bar, and they play Disco music. The vibe here is perfect! I love the music and everyone is loving it. You seat yourself and the servers are super attentive and nice! I was able to try four of the creamy drinks. They are available straight up or iced in mason jar. Honestly, both are great options! The iced drinks tasted a little stronger. All the drinks are absolutely amazing and I'm excited to try more! read more
Our first stop in Providence was Cafe Italia for brunch. The interior was decorated to perfection and we enjoyed snapping photos. How cute! For lunch, we both ordered a panini. Mine was the chicken salad and it was divine. My friend ordered the turkey one and loved it as well. She also had a coffee. Everything came out quick. We felt a little uncomfortable in the area alone but I would still go back. read more

Cool place. Definitely not your typical coffee shop. Great art on the wall and lots of vibrant colors. I will say some of the art is nude in case anyone has sensitivity or kids. Coffee was decent and the staff was super friendly. read more
