    Cinnamon bun breakfast sandwich
    Linda A.

I came here to try the breakfast sandwich and it was pretty good. I wish the cinnamon bun were a little fluffier, but everything else tasted great. The menu looks really awesome and creative so I'm happy to come back and try other things! The coffee was strong, and they've got a counter with different syrups that you can freely use to your liking to jazz up your coffee. That's pretty awesome, I don't see that often. The service was absolutely amazing. Super friendly and inviting. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Cafe Amore is the latest breakfast place to call this space home. It's small inside (two 4 top tables, eight 2 top tables, and 3 counter seats) and decorated with a very cozy vibe. The menu features some unique items like a pancake charcuterie board and Benedict burrito. We ordered the upside down pineapple pancake special and the Irish Benedict, both were very different from what we've had at other breakfast places. The pineapple pancakes were thick and sweet and topped with a cinnamon whipped cream. The Irish Benedict had a lot of herbs mixed into the hollandaise sauce and it was finished with micro greens. I also ordered one of their flavored lattes, which was delicious. They offer a complimentary flavor syrup bar so you can customize your own coffee or tea, such a fun idea!

We came in for breakfast at just the right time to be able to pick our own table from the 10 or so in this cute little space! (Several other folks came in after us.) The space is cozy and welcoming, with a simple and very comfortable vibe. It's decorated nicely, with pink (not Barbie pink!) walls, some flowery touches in a few of the pictures, a leafy wall, and the cheery blackboard listing some of the special lattes, benedicts, and juices. The owner, Heather, waited on us and so we were able to get a bit of the story about how she decided to open Cafe Amore. She's been working in restaurants since high school, and always had a vision of owning her own place. Upon hearing that this corner spot was vacant, she picked a name (essentially "cafe love" since opening a restaurant IS a labor of love. The name selected means love, "Amor" for the Spanish speaking folks who were originally going to be partners but who eventually backed out, and Amore for her own Italian heritage), retrofitted the space, set the menu, and jumped in. We came in on only day 68 since opening, but we couldn't tell since everything was so well managed. Apparently, Heather does not sleep: she freshly squeezes the juices served, bakes the sourdough bread that's on the menu, and usually makes fresh muffins in different flavors every week. She's testing recipes for a house-made sourdough English muffin and planning to start growing the microgreens that top every omelet. Oh, she also makes different varieties of beads that are sold as whole loaves on a first come first serve basis on the weekends, and makes her own jelly for sale - and occasionally serves some in the cafe, if she has an available open jar. The coffee here is excellent, and comes in a regular sized mug (not the usual small diner-type serving). Our cups were refilled almost as soon as we emptied them. Along the sunny front window there is a cart full of different complementary syrups to add flavor as desired, but the coffee didn't need them for me. I had the yummy Farmers Omelet with spinach, mushrooms, peppers, onions inside and feta and avocado on top (and those delicate microgreens as garnish) - and some of that absolutely fabulous house-made sourdough that came grilled to perfection. My husband had the "make your own" and went with a simple cheese omelet. He said it was good, but next time he's going to order it with two cheeses instead of the basic cheddar only he had this time. Both omelets came with seasoned home fries. (The potatoes were perfectly cooked, but I didn't love the spice mix.) We were offered ketchup and house-made hot sauce, which was kind of a sweet and spicy blend. Heather really wants to contribute to the community she's feeding. On Thanksgiving, she'll open for a special meal with pay what you can pricing (using a QR code to pay, so no one feels obvious unwelcome if they can't pay at all). All 10 tables will be set up as one, banquet style so no one will eat alone that day. (Lots of the regular customers are widows or widowers and single people who come in weekly, by themselves. She'll have a tv set up to watch the parade too. What a fantastic new spot that really cares about the people who visit!

Went here for a late breakfast and boy was this place delicious!! My husband and I sat at the counter as only one large table of 5 was available. We were greeted with smiles and our order was taken right away. When the food came out I was happily surprised it wasn't an overwhelming amount of food. Also had homemade jelly which was such a lovely treat! Get here and enjoy a meal!!

Looking for a new place for breakfast and found this under Hot & New. Took a look at the menu and decided absolutely we needed to try it. The restaurant is small but cozy with a friendly neighborhood vibe. The service was fantastic- everyone was super friendly. You could tell a lot of the diners were regulars/neighborhood families. The food was fantastic. I'm normally a regular coffee or latte girl but there were so many fun flavors & really who could resist these?! I got the Nutella latte and my husband got the strawberries & cream one. Such a treat! The breakfast tacos (with bacon) were delicious with the spicy aoli. And my husband loved his breakfast quesadillas. Can't wait to come back and try some of the sweet options!

Had an amazing breakfast this morning! The menu has a lot to choose from and we had a hard time deciding so tried a little bit of everything. The traditional amore breakfast (eggs, bacon, home fries and toast), avocado toast, Nutella stuffed waffle and and a side of homemade corned beef hash. It was all so delicious! Loved how crispy the home fries were and the homemade hot sauce was incredible. Great portions and reasonable prices. We took half of the waffle and corned beef hash home. I also loved the coffee bar with a variety of syrups to customize my coffee. Really neat! My fave was the sugar free cookie dough. I was pleasantly surprised to see sugar free options. My hubby loved his specialty brown butter iced latte. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. Service was also friendly!

Seeing a new breakfast joint open up down the road? Exciting. The execution? Disappointing. The fun flavored coffees were good but the service was rather slow. I understand that it's a new joint, but there were only a handful of us in the cafe, and yet our drinks took their sweet time. This spot is located on the boulevard so there is street parking but we are used to that over here so no qualms there. The vibe inside was nice, it was clean and tidy. We did not have a table setting for a while and it took our server a sec to bring utensils for my friend. I was also rather disappointed in my Monte Cristo. The spicy mustard was really throwing it off, and it made more of the raspberry jam inside to get that good sweet and savory balance. The spicy was just a weird component that was unnecessary. Good home fries though. I will not write this place off my list just yet (I can only go to Micheletti's so often) and I would like to come back and give it another go, if only just for their fun lattes.

Great local spot for breakfast/brunch. They seem to be known for their iced lattes. I had the tiramisu one and my son had the cinnamon roll latte. Delicious but very sweet. Burrito Benedict was yummy as was the Amore Special.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed !!! The service was excellent and the food was fantastic!! The owner was so kind and personable with each guest . I would and will absolutely be going back . I had the avocado toast ( loaded with avocado , tomatoes, goat cheese , and eggs on sourdough bread ) so delicious and the home fries on the side so seasoned and perfectly too !! Absolutely delicious!! The coffee was amazing too ! Cute little table full of flavors you can add to it if you choose to . My daughter got a dish ( forgot the name lol). It had French toast eggs home fries bacon and an amazing latte !! Everything is delicious and presented so good ! Deff go in there if you can ..

I love a good deli. Unfortunately, this wasn't just disappointing--it was borderline comical. Let's start with the good: the place looks fantastic. Clean, modern, really well done. If Yelp rated based on interior design alone, this place is pushing 5 stars. Now... the rest. First clue something was off--the dining room felt like a walk-in freezer. Not exaggerating: every single table had people eating in their coats. At some point you have to look around and think, "maybe we turn the heat up before someone orders a side of frostbite." Then came the wait. And the wait. And the wait. Close to an hour for deli sandwiches. During that time, I had a clear view of the kitchen, which turned into dinner and a show. Plates were coming back nonstop--wrong bread, wrong orders, total confusion. It was like watching a live-action blooper reel. Eventually, our food arrives... and of course, it's wrong. Back it goes. No big deal--mistakes happen. Round two: soup comes out with vegetables after my wife clearly explained she has an allergy. The waitress caught it (thankfully), and back it goes again. What finally came out can only be described as "chicken soup in spirit." It tasted like someone waved a bouillon cube over hot water and called it a day. No seasoning, no substance, and I'm pretty sure the "chicken" made a brief guest appearance and left. Her sandwich? Also wrong--and somehow included onions and mystery vegetables. So that was basically game over. I ordered the 50/50 (pastrami and corned beef). I say "ordered," but identifying what actually showed up was a bit of a guessing game. The meat was dry--painfully dry. The pastrami (I think?) had the texture of kindling wood and looked like it had been sliced by someone who just discovered what a knife is. Tough, stringy, and completely lacking that juicy, melt-in-your-mouth quality you expect from a deli. The waitress seemed nice enough but didn't really know the menu, and the kitchen was clearly in full chaos mode. One guy--who I assume was the owner or manager--was running around like a man trying to put out ten fires with a squirt gun. At some point, we just started laughing. Not because it was good--because it was so bad it crossed into "you can't make this up" territory. Maybe I'm spoiled coming from the North Shore, where delis take pride in their corned beef and pastrami. But if you're going to call yourself a delicatessen, you've got to at least get the basics right. This place has the look, but none of the execution. I wouldn't go back. I wouldn't recommend it. And next time I'll just stay north of the border where the sandwiches actually show up correctly--and edible.

Although the parking lot was busy, there were still plenty of tables available inside. There is a larger dining area in the back, but we stayed in one of the booths in the area where you first walk in. It gives old school diner vibes with the red stools, yellow/tan booths, aluminum accents, and small tile floor. The menu is comprehensive as it offers breakfast and lunch, and both sweet and savory options. My friend and I both ordered the steak and eggs ($16.99 each) but I ordered my steak medium (anticipating for it to be cooked a little heavier than medium), with scrambled eggs and cheese on top, with a grilled English muffin. The food came out after about 10-15 minutes. They did have about 4 options of hot sauces we could choose from including Frank's, Tabasco, Cholula, and Sriracha - but the only right answer is Sriracha followed by Cholula. The steak was tasty and cooked exactly how I wanted it to, with a gentle sear. The home fries were delicious as they were soft, but also had bits of fried onions to enhance the flavor. The English muffin was golden, crispy, and slightly buttery. The eggs were very fluffy and the white cheese was completely melted into them which was great. The service was good, where we got everything in a timely manner, but we didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed with questions regarding our experience.
