Steak Sandwich - this one was really good!
    Wendy S.

They will always be a go-to when I am in RI. My favorite is the " Gregg's famous ribeye steak sandwich grilled to perfection." $16.99 Served on a grilled torpedo roll with sautéed mushrooms (50 cents extra). If you ask for it rare, it comes out perfectly. It's not a thick steak, so it doesn't take long to cook it. Served with a side - I usually get cole slaw of french fries. I love pickles and warm bread there as well. I also like the lobster salad roll, turkey club and my husband loves the chili with onions and cheese with chips. 9.79- Chili with chopped onions and cheese and served with nacho chips. Everyday Turkey Dinner - 18.89 -Roasted turkey served with real mashed potatoes. bread stuffing. brown gravy and the vegetable of the day. I don't like the gravy, but like everything else. In-house fresh turkey. I have 2 favorite desserts! The Chocolate Layer Cake -7.79-- still the best chocolate layer cake around and the Éclair - 7.79- with real custard in the middle and HUGE. It is a nice calm place and good for families or anyone.

My go to spot for quick good meal with tons of options on the menu. not that I sway from the couple of options that I always pick. This night chicken pot pie got a side of mash potatoes so good with starter of pumpkin/squash soup very good but seasonal. Friend got the roast beef sandwich and French onion soup which is said was amazing. Service is always great. Vibe is always friendly like having dinner with old friends. Be back soon.

I went to Gregg's on a Friday night for a quick bite before heading somewhere else. It was my first time in Warwick, and it's on a very busy road. One plus is that it has a huge parking lot! We were seated right away, as the place is huge. It's divided into different sections, which I noticed when I was looking for the restroom. There's a nicer area in the back with a bar. The menu is extensive. There's something for everyone and there are gluten free options like, as well. Their cocktail menu was huge and there were so many tasty options, but I wasn't drinking that night. I ordered a wrap, and it was okay, just a normal turkey wrap with fries. It had chipotle in the name, so I expected more flavor. The service was friendly and good. If you're a group looking to satisfy different tastes, this might be a good option for you!

    Large and delicious Strawberry Shortcake!

Good service. Ordered corn beef Reuben sandwich with Cole slaw. Cole slaw was tasty and plentiful. Sauerkraut was delicious, as was the rye bread. BUT, the corned beef was sliced too thick and was tough and chewy, like rubber bands. Very disappointing for Gregg's!

My friends and went to Rhode Island for a few hours on a Friday. We came across this restaurant an exist before where we had to be. Such a popular restaurant. It was busy! And looked like it was well known for their desserts. They looked delicious! They had awards on their wall because of them. But it was very spacious, a back room and a bar. Very family oriented restaurant. Prices were great and the menu had wraps, tacos, sandwiches, apps, bigger dinner meals, cocktails of all kinds that looks soo good! And desserts!! They also had some GF options. I ordered a GF California chicken wrap. I didn't like the GF wrap used as it just broke and the chicken didn't have much of a seasoning. Lacked flavor. My friend who ordered the salad also thought her chicken lacked flavor. Besides the food, portions were big and services was excellent. Our server was very nice.

Parking lot and building lights were all off tonight for some reason.

Big Disappointment! I do love the cake at Gregg's. However, the toffee cake we recently bought wasn't what we're used to from Gregg's. The cake was good, and it had lots of Toffee candies on top, but the whipped cream was much less than I remembered in previous years. There really should have been more whipped cream on the cake and in between the layers.

After the Christmas Lights we ended up at Gregg's in Providence, we started with the Rolls with Butter and they were good, they usually have Pickles...but they SOLD OUT...OH WELL, for our Main Dishes we got: I got the Buffalo Chicken Pasta extra Spicy and Onion Soup, @websterbuffa88 got the Eggplant Parmesan with a Salad, everything was delicious, we even have Leftovers...so much food, and great times with Friends

French dip with sweet potato fries and cinnamon butter

I love a good French dip and this checked the box. But I really stopped here on the way home from the zoo because I heard they had THE BEST chocolate cake. I grabbed a piece to go. Did I mention the chocolate cake? It was truly amazing. I wish I had purchased an entire cake. I don't even like chocolate cake that much. But this is the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Planning my next trip to the zoo- just so I have an excuse to drive to RI for cake. Service was also great. It reminded me of Howard Johnson's of my childhood in Cleveland Ohio. The server told me it was previously a HoJo's and a Ground Round. It will remind you if both.

We went to the North Kingston, RI location which was very nice inside and outside. It looked like it was a newer location. The outside dining area looked great, but we had a reservation for 16 inside. It was out first time here, but our RI cousins with whom we were here with eat often at the other locations. I understand that it is a safe place to bring a lot of people because the extensive menu has many options as well as daily specials. The menu even includes the old fashioned diner staple of liver and onions. I heard the Saturday Special of Prime Rib is exceptional in taste, quality of beef, and in value. The Sunday Special of Roast Turkey Dinner was ordered by me and two others. It was delicious, especially the thick slices of freshly roasted white turkey, bread stuffing, homemade style gravy, real mashed potatoes, and tasty squash. Excellent choice! Other orders included assorted Reubens, Cobb Salad, club sandwiches, and Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. The French Onion Soup was excellent! Family raved about the Onion Rings! Everyone enjoyed the food, and a few saved room for the beautiful looking and TASTING desserts. The servers were friendly, efficient, and attentive.

Slice of Death By Chocolate- amazing!
    Alicia H.

5/5 for Gregg's Death by chocolate cake slice. I used to live in Providence and when I was briefly in town this last week, a slice of this cake was at the top of my list. And OMG did it live up to my memories and expectations- and I'm not even a crazy chocolate person. But I got u servings out of this heavenly sweet moist chocolate deliciousness. I think the crunch of the mini choc chips verses the soft cake and frosting is my favorite part. Worth every calorie lol

Out of pickles, poor service, expensive lunch. Come on Greggs you use to be great. You can do better. Perhaps it was just an off day.

The winner: Mac and Cheese! I walked in wanting French onion soup. They were out! I was disappointed so I just had wings. My son had a kids mac and cheese. Large portion for a kids meal. He ate some and then I ate the rest. It was pretty darn good! Creamy. Flavorful. My husband made a joke about going to Our Spot again, and it's now on the list!

There's pop culture references papered all over the walls, an old school wooden bar and a small dining room that could double as an intimate event space Our bartender was super nice, he let us know what was available to order since the full kitchen wasn't open when we went. We were there for the wings anyway, as RI Food Fights brought us here. We got the Maple Bacon Bourbon wings, a side of fries and the giant pretzel The wings were good! Not super crispy but the glaze coated them well and clung to the wing nicely. The menu said they were smoked before they were fried, but outside of the generous amount of bacon bits that were part of the glaze, I didn't get much smoke in the meat itself. Otherwise, we liked the glaze. The fries are the more expensive, clear coat kind that hold their crisp longer, which I appreciate. They were great plain or with ketchup. The pretzel was warm and perfectly soft. The beer cheese that came with it was excellent. And the blue cheese dressing was as well that we got with the wings. It had a great blue cheese flavor without giant chunks of cheese. They also offer pizza and a number of handhelds that all looked interesting, so I'll have to come back soon when the full kitchen is open!

Amazing craft beer menu, but I wish there was more of a cider selection. I'm an absolute creature of habit so I typically get the same menu items but everything is amazing. I believe that between four and six you can order either Nashville or Smashburger sliders for like seven bucks and a side of hand cut fries for like five. I would suggest doing that if you want to leave room for dessert. Otherwise, the Nashville chicken sandwich is literally the best chicken Sammy you'll ever eat in your life. They offer two types of fries and they're both good but the hand cut ones are life-changing. You'll never order fries from anywhere else ever again and enjoy them. The pit craft mac & cheese is creamy, cheesy, wonderful. The Smashburger is equally amazing. Forget five guys or anywhere else really. Truly the best burger. Anything smoked (burnt ends, pulled pork, all of it, delicious. If you have room for dessert, I highly suggest the waffles. They almost taste like they're candied with a little bit of caramelized sugar and served with a berry compote, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream... I can't explain it, but they are absolutely delicious. So put on some stretchy pants and go stuff your face here. Ask for Jalice, she's the sweetest. Owner Jared and Beth are wonderful. They always listen to feedback and are constantly improving. I believe right now they're working on the backyard and I can't wait until it's open. I had a hard time choosing between the Pretty In Pink strawberry lager and the Apple Pie Seltzer, but the PIP was actually all out (so sad!!) so I went with the seltzer. It had a strong almost artificial scent, but a much more mild flavor. It wasn't too sweet and had notes of cinnamon - very unique and drinkable, although I don't think I'd need more than one. I was surprised and pleased to see they have a food menu. There's a pretty big parking lot but it's very uneven and filled with pot holes, and people park a little...erm...creatively - you've been warned. On weekends I've seen the main and overflow lot fill up, and I couldn't even find street parking, so had to go elsewhere - plan accordingly. The tap room is big and has nice bathrooms that are always clean. The main seating option are long picnic table benches - my back personally cannot do a backless seat for more than an hour without being in pain, so take that into consideration. It's also kind of awkward to swing your legs into the seat every time you have to get up, especially if it's full and you're in the middle. I'd love this place so much more if it just got normal tables and individual chairs with backs! My favorite thing about this brewery is that it is dog friendly and there are usually multiple gorgeous furry faces here to oggle over.
