The whole place had less than a dozen tables - but oddly, we were there for an hour and more than half of the tables remained empty. Not a huge deal just felt weird at the bar. Eclectic decor and menu. Mostly tapas (my husband had the mushrooms) but some main meals - I had the prime rib. But when I asked if I could get the potatoes without chives I was told they were premade and couldn't customize, so not sure if they are made in house or brought in. Delicious either way - even with the scallions. Prime rib wasn't quite medium well but it was well cooked so I didn't send it back. There is some foul language in some of the stickers on the kitchen door (and you have to go through that door to get to the restrooms). And the manager was a little off putting to us when he learned we were from out of town he suggested a visit to the dispensary. He also commented on how dressed up we were - when both us us were just in silk button up shirts. The meal for the two of us came to $100 with only one glass of wine so it's not like this is a cutoff shorts and string t kind of place. My husband wasn't bothered by the comment but I didn't like it - we were also the only same sexed couple in the place so maybe I was a little on edge. Seemed very much a place for locals and a couple of tables were there when we got there were still going strong when we left. So definitely a hang out spot.

When one thinks of casual diner food and experience, look no further than Stanley's!…read more Slinging burgers since 1932 Stanley's is a unique old school spin for diners. Very reasonable prices and a litnay of choices to quench your hunger! With house made lemonade on the menu I couldn't pass it up. When asking there are a few flavor options from blueberry, strawberry dragonfruit and a few more I don't remember. I went with dragonfruit and the lemonade was flavorful and perfect for me with not being too sweet nor tart. For starters I chose a chowder as it is a part of the Friday menu to choose from. They have both red and white and I chose the latter. It was smooth, cream full of a good mix of veggies and clams. For the main I went with bacon cheeseburger and I don't know just how to articulate how much of a comfort burger this is but boy oh boy it was a great diner style burger! The staff is very welcoming and friendly keeping the food and conversation flowing throughout the visit! Thank you for a great dining experience! There is both street parking or a small off street lot to utilize during your visit. Be it cash, card or Venmo there are plenty of ways to settle the bill. Looking forward to coming back to sample more of the menu options! Appreciate you Stanley's!!

I had…read morebeen to Stanley's before so I knew what to expect - a classic diner experience with good food as a great price. I was especially convinced to go when I did because they had a deal going on for Central Falls restaurant week which was too good to pass up: 6 burgers with a small fry for $12. I took two friends with me to help me finish all the food. We added lettuce, cheese and mayo to the burgers for $1 each upcharge. We also ordered a homemade lemonade each. They have about eight flavors to choose from but we went with strawberry, pineapple, and passion fruit. The food came out quick. The patties were a little bland in color, but the flavor was there. I wish they had toasted the buns. We requested the fries to be made dirty which meant sprinkled herbs which I think helped with adding flavor. Their fries are on the thicker side which I am not the biggest fan of but they still tasted good. I ordered a chili dog but I sort of regretted it singe it was messy and I felt like there was too much going on. Our server was very kind and patient with as (we were asking for lots of requests). They have a parking lot which makes it so much easier to dine in.

The prices are fair and their reward program rocks....I get so many offers that are so good that make me go back to the restaurant often for a meal. This last time I got my favorite nachos. There were a couple empty seats at the bar, some of which seemed suspiciously untouched and we soon realized why; the AC was blasting overheard and although it felt nice in the beginning since it was HOT outside, after 10 minutes it felt frigid. We stayed there anyways since there was a huge TV right in front of us. I wasn't sure what to order, but the chicken and burrata sandwich sounded really good, mostly because of the sweet, salty, and creamy contrast. I ended up ordering it and upgraded my fries to parmesan fries. My friend ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. After about 15 minutes, the food came out. I knew the chicken would be grilled since I asked before ordering so my expectations were low, but it was surprisingly still moist, did taste grilled, but lacked some seasoning. I did not open the sandwich to check how much burrata there was, but adding some more would not have hurt. The fig jam was definitely the star of the show. It overpowered some of the other flavors, but I didn't mind. The caramelized onions might've also contributed to the sweetness; they were soft and good. I was glad they did not add too much arugula since it can get bitter. The ciabatta was a good choice of bread for this sandwich, and it came lightly toasted. I did not taste much of the garlic. The fries were good. They were like regular fries, but with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and a parmesan dipping sauce. I also ordered some secret sauce for my fries because I went down a Reddit rabbit hole and was compelled to try it. I was not impressed and it indeed tasted a lot like ketchup and mayo, with maybe a couple other things. We stayed for the full match including overtime. Thankfully it wasn't busy enough where I felt they would kick us out for taking up chairs for too long. Our waitress was great.

Service: The service has always been great when I've gone. The servers are friendly, attentive, and get the job done, no complaints there.
