They serve breakfast and lunch. They do have a bar and can make cocktails. Their prices were not bad for the food. The servings were good size. I was surprised by their toast that came with my meal. It was thick sliced bread not the thin sliced your used to getting at other places. I got the two egg platter with bacon and home fries. My husband got an egg sandwich on an English muffin with ham and cheese. You will not be disappointed in the place. Definitely worth a try. read more

Stopped in around 9:30 this morning (Sunday) for the first time after looking up suggestions for a new brunch spot to try. They were already pretty busy, but we lucked out with not having to wait for seating. The Irish eggs benny was one of the better Benedict's that I have had and my husband opted for the Dump Omelette. He noted that the home fries were the best he has ever had, but next time would choose a different meal. The unisex restroom was completely out of toilet paper, and could use some attention. This is our favorite breakfast place. I'd go every week if we could! We have never left unsatisfied in any way. Food is flavorful and plentiful. Service is always pleasant with a smile. Tanya goes above and beyond to make us feel right at home. The homey feel inside gives a nice vibe. It's small and it can be busy. So if you have to wait for a seat, expect to wait outside or in your car. Try to get a seat away from the door because it can be chilly. We've been just my immediate family and then have brought other family with us and whether a party of 3, 4 or 6, it's a nice time and a soul warming meal. Came here for breakfast and it was typical no frills experience. We sat at a table off to the side and the wait staff was very nice. I would say it was a bit hard to get their attention when you needed something because of how the restaurant is oriented but not a huge issues. The food was good. Lots of nice drink options. Always great food !!! Been going there for a bit. Went there a couple of weeks ago and they said they couldn't accommodate us other than a booth with a chair on the end. There was plenty of room on the other side but they didn't want to hear it. Called the owner and she explained that she told her to add a table but she misunderstood. Ok soo went again it was great sat at the bar. Went again today people and food was great waitress was great except when she brought us more coffee and a mimosa and the bills and said ...... Not to rush you but I have seven people waiting and I need this table !!! When there were more tables but she said it would be a fire hazard if they sat there ! Are you kidding me !!! We've eaten at The Griddle numerous times and it's always a great meal. They have amazing seasonal specials, today we had the pumpkin pancakes! They offer boozy drinks which make any breakfast better! Convenient location with limited parking. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Despite being busy, I don't feel like they rush us. They give you 6 slices of texas toast which is a good amount of food for the price, even though I prefer challah or brioche. I also ordered two eggs, homefries and toast ($4.50) which was very good. I ordered takeout and I was told it would take 30 minutes. When I went in, I could see why, it was very busy. All the waitresses were very nice. One waitress greeted me right when I entered and two others asked if I needed help. I wouldn't eat inside there though, it's pretty small and the tables are too close together for my liking. On a Saturday morning, it wasn't busy at all--which was so surprising to us because of how cute it is! The decor is farmhouse styled and very clean. I also love it because it's not the type of diner where you smell like the diner food all day after being inside. The place was packed and bustling. We were greeted and sat immediately. We started with a round of specialty coffees.. Pumpkin and Cinnamon Hazelnut. The menu is a typical breakfast menu with a couple extra nice choices like Avocado Toast and Gluten Free Bread. I got the Ham and Cheese Omelette with Cinnamon Raisin Toast and Homefries. The omelette was moist and ham thickly cut. The homefries are aromatic and just as tasty with a hint of fresh herbs. The Biscuits and Gravy were savory and the biscuit fresh. Hopefully they are just getting their act together as a new restaurant. We waited to get seated on a Sunday morning which is not unusual but when we waited for everything else it was too much. We were seated at a table that wobbled so much that they had to pull it out into the aisle twice to get it to sit right. It turns out that the table top was not properly attached to the legs. We had a 4 year old with us and we hoped that we could get him something to eat rather quickly. That was impossible as it turns out that everything was slow, from ordering to getting coffee to finally getting the food. We were reassigned to never returning and then we got our meal. The food was excellent and served very nicely. The hash was delicious as were the pancakes which is how I judge a breakfast restaurant food.
