    Vanilla Chai

Stopped in last week for a vanilla chai and breakfast sandwich. Positive- The vanilla chai was sooooo good! It was warm, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. The server was sweet and friendly. I sat at the cute breakfast bar. Cool Feedback- My egg and cheese on an english muffin was lacking. The bread was dry, and it came out lopsided. Honestly, that part didn't bother me so much, but when I took a bite, it just fell short. The egg was runny, which is what I wanted but the bread was so dry that it didn't even soak up the egg. I didn't bother sending it back because I needed to get to my appointment. It's nice having a local coffeehouse. I'll be back for the Vanilla Chai and will give them another shot with trying a different food item.

Had a great first time experience visiting Bean Barn. Conveniently located on Tiogue Ave, this establishment has a decent sized parking lot that wraps around the building. On entering, you are prompted with signage to order first at the bar. There is a small table with menus to peruse before you reach the register. Additional signage indicates things like available bagel flavors, coffee, and specials. Dining in or takeout options available. I opted for dine in and was kindly instructed to sit wherever I'd like; they'd bring my order over when ready. There's a good deal of bar seating, with other more traditional table seating scattered around. My hot chocolate (the made-from-a-packet kind) arrived first and was piping hot. Drinkable mid-way through my meal and standard as far as hot chocolates go. The bagel sandwich was phenomenal. Everything bagel, freshly fried egg, cheese, and salami. YUM! The bagel was perfectly toasted and soft on the inside. The salty salami paired well with the rest of what was layered on. I've never had the option of salami on a breakfast sandwich before (aside from the usual bacon and sausage) and I am a fan. Cozily decorated for the holidays. Welcoming atmosphere and seating options for a solo dining experience. Recommend.

I have only had coffee from here but this place is always hopping with people in for breakfast. They are only open til midday but have a bar which is so insanely cool. Their coffee is yummy, but I def would like to stay longer and have breakfast too next time. They have lots to offer---food and seating wise. Their staff is great too!

So good! Great spot! Good lattes with fun flavors. Didn't need sweetener they were great on their own. Bagels were also super yummy and there were a bunch of flavors and flavor cream cheese We vlogged this along with other stops in RI- Hailey and Kiki on YouTube :)

Egg, bacon and cheese on a sesame bagel. You can also choose croissants or English muffins for breakfast sandwiches.

Great stop for breakfast. Lots of breakfast sandwich and coffee options. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was fresh and quickly prepared. Lots of seating early in a Sunday morning. Worth driving a couple minutes out of your way if you're traveling 95.

Such a wonderful little Coventry Gem! A delicious Two egg omelette with fresh spinach, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese. The coffee is amazingly good too, I highly recommend the Bean Barn!

I kinda just wanted coffee this morning but I ended up ordering breakfast and I did enjoy it much. This is a neat local shop and yes, the coffee was excellent. A simple breakfast of eggs over medium came with toast and potatoes. I ate the eggs, took two bites of the toast and a couple of the fries. And then I spent the next five hours enjoying their wifi in a quiet corner of the restaurant. A good bit of breakfast traffic came and went. When the lunch crowd started, it was time for me to pack up and head elsewhere. Comfy space (obviously) and it was great that they didn't seem to mind me sitting here for such a long time. The space it self is pretty cool & welcoming. It was slightly confusing to know exactly where to go to order just coffee. The food looked quite good but I can't confirm as I didn't try any of it. The coffee was pretty good but both the cappuccino & latte we ordered both seemed to have too much milk. I'd recommend adding an extra shot (which is very reasonably priced). Would like to try again & sit down with a coffee & try the food.

Bean Barn has become a morning favorite for me. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Their breakfast sandwiches are buttery, crisp, and tasty. There are plenty of different types of cheeses and bagels to pick from. I always eat my sandwich with their homemade hot sauce. They also have lots of drink options - hot coffee, iced coffee, and mimosa specials on Fridays I believe. They offer delicious baked goods in a case to the left of the register. We tried their coffee cake and it was fluffy and not too sweet. Their bathrooms are gender neutral which is a plus to me. I took off one star because the menu didn't list everything they actually offer and you kind of have to know what to order or just ask if they have it. The flow also isn't super clear if you haven't been there before: it's an order-at-the-counter situation but that isn't immediately obvious for new comers. I also took of one star because we overheard who we assumed to be the owners sitting on the patio one morning being rude to their staff. It was awkward and not a good look. Overall, the service is good and the food & coffee are perfect for a filling breakfast at a good price.

Fresh fresh fresh-you will not find frozen eggs or par- cooked bacon here....easy online ordering. They serve New England coffee which in my opinion is the best so they always have a dozen flavors to choose from for both hot and iced coffee. Home fries better than some of the better breakfast places I've been to. If you're in Coventry you should really think about for going to Dunkin' Donuts drive-through and order from this place.

Bacon, egg and cheese wrap, spinach bagel and ice coffees!

I walked in on autopilot and headed left to grab my coffee, only to realize the entire layout had changed. The new bar area is beautiful, inviting and such a great addition to the space. Coffee service has moved to the back and while I was checking out the prepackaged gluten-free muffins in the cooler, I was warmly greeted by the staff. I ordered the Iced Grasshopper with milk and it was delicious. Smooth, refreshing and the perfect summer coffee. Very minty. One of the employees noticed me looking around and took the time to explain all of the renovations, show me the new bar and point out their weekend dinner specials, which can also be ordered for takeout. That personal touch really stood out. If you're stopping in for coffee, don't miss the specials board. The dinner menu looked fantastic and I'll definitely be back to give it a try. It's great to see a local business continue to grow while keeping such friendly, welcoming service.

Ten years is a long time to stay away from a corner table…read more I used to work just down the road from Wild Harvest. Back then, I was there often enough that it became part of my week. You ordered at the counter, found a table, and waited for your name to be called. No table service. No bar. Just good food in a place that felt comfortable the minute you walked in. I left that job ten years ago. Wild Harvest never left East Greenwich. My friend Frank wanted to take me to lunch for my birthday. I knew exactly where I wanted to go. Lauren greeted us at the door. She's been managing the restaurant for a few weeks. I wanted to see how much the place has changed. "Where would you like to sit?" "The corner." A minute later, I was sitting in the same corner where I'd eaten lunch more times than I could count years ago. Wild Harvest still has the log cabin bones that made it stand out when it first opened. Heavy timber walls. Exposed beams overhead. A taxidermy deer wearing red, white, and blue bunting like someone decorated it for the Fourth of July years ago and never got around to taking it down. It still feels warm. Comfortable. Like itself. The changes over the last ten years, though, are hard to miss. What used to be a counter-service café is now a full-service restaurant. There's a real bar. A chalkboard announces dinner from five to eight, seasonal menus that change every week, cocktails, and Friday night flights. The place has grown without losing what made people want to come here in the first place. They don't call it a chicken parm. On the menu it's simply "Parmesan," listed beside the hot meatball as though everyone already knows what it is. The ciabatta is baked in house every day, and it tastes like it. The crust was blistered and lightly floured, toasted enough to push back before giving way to a chewy interior. The provolone had gone beyond melted into something draped over the edge of the cutlet. Underneath, the breading stayed crisp despite a generous layer of sauce. That's usually the first thing a chicken parm gives up. Not this one. The chips deserve a mention, too. They're house-made, fresh-cut, still curled from the fryer, the kind that remind you potato chips are supposed to taste like potatoes. Frank ordered the Mediterranean wrap with Wild Harvest's homemade veggie burger, hummus, romaine, tomato, shredded carrot, cucumber, and tzatziki. His lunch looked responsible. Mine looked like someone having a birthday. Neither of us seemed interested in trading. Frank picked up the check. We thanked Lauren and headed for the door. Ten years is a long time to stay away from a corner table. It's even better when you find out it was worth coming back.
