I popped in to redeem my RI Food fights coffee offer. I got an iced coffee with vanilla. It was really good. I also grabbed the camp crush latte but I had them throw a little mocha in it because I'm a girl who loves chocolate. It was delicious. It was not overly sweet and had a great strawberry and chocolate taste. It definitely hit the spot on a hot summer day. The baristas were all super friendly and very helpful when I was trying to figure out what to get in my iced coffee. I'll definitely be back to grab another latte!

Talk about a day to go to Longshore coffee! I'm sure it's pretty on a normal sunny day, but this little shop was STUNNING in the snow. It was the perfect place to spend a bit of time on a snow day. Steven was wonderful. I wish him much luck with his business! I enjoyed chatting with him and getting suggestions! The beach latte and the sandwich with their signature tomato bacon jam were both to die for. Service and quality were both . The inside space is as beautiful as outside. Chic and crisp but also cozy, warm and inviting. I've seen this space pop up a lot on my Instagram feed and i can see why---it's wonderful!

Ok this time the sandwich soooo good. Hotter this time. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin with an herbed tomato jam. Practically inhaled the sandwich. Coffee was good for the first 2 sips--"tree topper" it was a cold brew with PINE infused cold foam! Sadly I knocked it over clumsily sitting on a bench but maybe that was the universe telling me to not consume too much caffeine today. Last time I had their coffee it really hit the spot. Awesome service, again. The business has hired very friendly individuals.

I love the decor and vibe of longshore. It's clean modern but also feel slightly beachy. I told the barista it was my first time and they helped me pick out the perfect drink based on my likes. She was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. BONUS - they roast their own coffee and offer decaf as an option! I had the crème brûlée latte and it was so creamy and delicious. I highly recommend.

Saw this place just opened near my house and wanted to try! It's a very cute place inside with comfy seating and books about the history of Rhode Island. Their beach coffee iced latte was really good! And it came in super cute to go cups. However, their hot drip coffee was horrible. We ended up throwing it away :( but that was also because it was just black coffee, no cream or sugar. I would definitely come back for the lattes and friendly employees.

Quaint coffee shop with inviting atmosphere, it was the perfect spot to catch up with friends. I had an egg sandwich on a croissant and an iced coffee and both were delicious. The sandwich price was reasonable but I thought the coffee was a little pricey. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I love the to go cups...it's like an adult sippy cup!

Found the cutest local coffee shop that just opened in September! I will be here all the time! Service is amazing! Everyone is so friendly! And they deliver your coffee to you :)

A new coffee roaster house in Coventry. I tried the iced Backpack coffee. I also bought a bag of Backpack coffee beans. The ambiance is cozy and the service was excellent. I highly recommend you give it a try.

I've been driving by Longshore Coffee for months while they were building, and today I finally had a few extra minutes to stop in. I'm usually rushing through the Dunkin or Honey Dew drive-through, so this was a nice change of pace. I was greeted right away. The space is modern and clean but still cozy--if that makes sense. The menu is small, which I actually appreciated since it didn't feel overwhelming. I don't like overly sweet coffee, so I asked about their big pumpkin drink. The barista told me it wasn't too sweet, and she was right--it was perfect. Prices are about the same as Dunkin or Honey Dew and definitely cheaper than Starbucks. My only small complaint was that the coffee wasn't quite hot enough for my liking (more warm than hot), and parking out front was a bit tight. It would be tough if another car were next to you, but there's plenty of parking along the side, so I'd suggest using that. Overall, I really liked it and will be back. Great local spot--definitely worth checking

They now have a $10 cocktail specials menu, but every time I or my friends have ordered off it, the item we want has an ingredient that's out of stock, and they have to substitute it for something else. Seems like they run into inventory issues? Service at the bar can take quite a while. There's only ever one bartender working, even on busy trivia nights, and I hate having to awkwardly stand at the end of the bar waiting to be served, and then waiting for my drink. The girl that's usually there is a sweetie pie and so helpful, but they really need to have more than one bartender at a time. The fact that the cafe coffee shop part isn't open when the bar part is is just a missed opportunity. I'd order their latte specials at 7 pm on a Thursday over and over, but you can't. They also don't have any food options except some super snacky light bites at night when the bar is open - missed money opportunity, people would get baked goods and sandwiches etc later at night! The furniture is pretty comfy and coffee shop like, but the low back and cushion placement on the couch is so uncomfortable to me, and the large soft chairs are way too deep so I can't either sit forward or comfortably sit back without my feet sticking in the air. Just very awkward furniture. I'd like to come during the coffee shop hours to try a latte since their specials always sound fun and are seasonal, but their set up just annoys me - I want to get a latte and then a cocktail 30 minutes later on the same visit, not have to come at the exact right time of day. There's room for improvement for sure. I also wish their trivia was displayed on a screen as it can be very loud and hard to understand the questions when they are only spoken verbally. Easy location off a main road, and the bathrooms are always very clean and well stocked.

Was told this is the norm in the summer and they were closing at 9pm (vs usual 11pm) because of it, which seemed fair. The bartender was very friendly and my hot n dirty vodka martini (olive and banana pepper juice) was delicious and well worth the $12 price tag. I cozied up on a leather chair with my book and enjoyed my time there. A few others trickled in but it stayed quiet. The bar stools were also extremely comfy. Coffeeshop: the next morning (Saturday around 10) I came in with my toddler for coffee and food. She was on a mission and there was lots for her to explore. Wish there was a gate or some sort of deterrant between the main area and the kitchen. I had a specialty coffee (chai, toffee syrup, espresso) and while yummy, a bit pricey. The same goes for my lox bagel (jalapeno). I also don't like that everything is served in disposable cups and plates. Go green! Service was okay - not very personable but I guess being busy can do that. If just reviewing the bar, I'd give full marks but the coffeeshop wasn't quite as a home run. Will absolutely come back, though! Outdoor area seems nice, too.

Their frozen hot chocolate was a high school staple, their flavored coffee and work friendly ambiance got me through graduate school, and I never visit RI without bringing back a bag of chocolate chip cookie beans. I've taken meetings at their small tables, curled up in an armchair with a book by the fireplace, gone on dates on the patio and snuggled with my infant daughter on the couch. There's a spot for whatever you need - as long as you get there before the rush! My go-to has always been a jalapeno bagel with jalapeno cream cheese; their baked goods are all made in-house and are chefs kiss. Once I became a coffee drinker I always opted for a black flavor of the day but have slowly been switching to a seasonal latte. It's all yummy. I love seeing their menu items grow and will occasionally treat myself to a slice of cake. It's not a cheap coffeeshop but I personally don't find it to be outlandish. Unfortunately indoors is not the most friendly atmosphere for a rambunctious toddler so on crummy weather days I visit other coffeeshops. The patio is better, though. They could also use a changing table for little ones. Regardless I'll still keep coming back!

So I scrolled bakeries on Yelp and saw photos of Borrelli's shelves with cakes available for sale. Perfect! I hopped in the car and Wow, do they have a lot of cakes for sale! There are several display cases with cupcakes, pastry, donuts, cakes, calzones, spinach pies, breads. So much deliciousness. The person I was buying a birthday cake for does not particularly like cake so I wasn't quite sure what to get. They do sell the large frosted cookies, but I wasn't sure that was quite right. Then I saw it. Tiramisu! A great big round Tiramisu cake! Yes! We stuck some candles in there, sang happy birthday and cut it along the lady fingers around the edge. A 'two finger' slice or a 'one finger' slice made serving easy. And OMG, this is SO. Good! Creamy, coffee tiramisu cream with layers of lady fingers in between. Not too sweet, lots of coffee flavor. We easily got 12 servings and everyone loved it. Even the non-cake eating birthday recipient. Yay! There is no price list posted in the shop so I ask for the price of the item I was interested in. Credit card sales have a small transaction fee added (one dollar for my order) or use cash to avoid the fee. The entrance does not appear to be wheelchair accessible. Not sure if they have a different entrance? But there is a curb between the parking lot and the door. Just fyi. There were three staff members out front when we arrived to assist customers. Two were working with another customer and I spent a good deal of time checking out all the display cases and talking with my husband. No one interrupted my perusal. When I looked up to ask a question a young woman made eye contact and assisted me with my purchase. Very pleasant to speak with and she quickly boxed up my cake and wrapped it with twine. All together an excellent experience.
