Saw this place just opened near my house and wanted to try! It's a very cute place inside with comfy seating and books about the history of Rhode Island. Their beach coffee iced latte was really good! And it came in super cute to go cups. However, their hot drip coffee was horrible. We ended up throwing it away :( but that was also because it was just black coffee, no cream or sugar. I would definitely come back for the lattes and friendly employees.

I love the decor and vibe of longshore. It's clean modern but also feel slightly beachy. I told the barista it was my first time and they helped me pick out the perfect drink based on my likes. She was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. BONUS - they roast their own coffee and offer decaf as an option! I had the crème brûlée latte and it was so creamy and delicious. I highly recommend.

Ok this time the sandwich soooo good. Hotter this time. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin with an herbed tomato jam. Practically inhaled the sandwich. Coffee was good for the first 2 sips--"tree topper" it was a cold brew with PINE infused cold foam! Sadly I knocked it over clumsily sitting on a bench but maybe that was the universe telling me to not consume too much caffeine today. Last time I had their coffee it really hit the spot. Awesome service, again. The business has hired very friendly individuals.

Quaint coffee shop with inviting atmosphere, it was the perfect spot to catch up with friends. I had an egg sandwich on a croissant and an iced coffee and both were delicious. The sandwich price was reasonable but I thought the coffee was a little pricey. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I love the to go cups...it's like an adult sippy cup!

I stopped in today to grab an iced latte after grocery shopping. The baristas were super friendly and my coffee was excellent. The shop is cute and has a nice cozy vibe. I highly recommend checking them out. They also carry coffee that you can purchase to brew yourself.

A new coffee roaster house in Coventry. I tried the iced Backpack coffee. I also bought a bag of Backpack coffee beans. The ambiance is cozy and the service was excellent. I highly recommend you give it a try.

I've been driving by Longshore Coffee for months while they were building, and today I finally had a few extra minutes to stop in. I'm usually rushing through the Dunkin or Honey Dew drive-through, so this was a nice change of pace. I was greeted right away. The space is modern and clean but still cozy--if that makes sense. The menu is small, which I actually appreciated since it didn't feel overwhelming. I don't like overly sweet coffee, so I asked about their big pumpkin drink. The barista told me it wasn't too sweet, and she was right--it was perfect. Prices are about the same as Dunkin or Honey Dew and definitely cheaper than Starbucks. My only small complaint was that the coffee wasn't quite hot enough for my liking (more warm than hot), and parking out front was a bit tight. It would be tough if another car were next to you, but there's plenty of parking along the side, so I'd suggest using that. Overall, I really liked it and will be back. Great local spot--definitely worth checking

I did a Google search and saw that The Coffee Guy was close to me and that they had a variety of beans that they roast in house. I stopped in to the shop and walked up to their display of bags of coffee beans. The owner introduced himself as well as the staff. They were all very friendly and knowlegable. I made my selection and brought it to the counter to purchase. They also serve coffee and pastry but this trip I just wanted the beans. They offered to grind them to whatever courseness I wanted, but I prefer to grind them at home. A pound of coffee averages $20 and they have a frequent buyer program (when you reach purchases of $100, you get a $5 credit. This is tracked so your purchases accumulate). They also deliver to the area on Wednesday's if you order online by their Tuesday Night deadline. I have tried this and my coffee was on my doorstep before 9 that Wednesday. Very convenient. Lastly, the store is not that big with not much room for sitting (I honestly can't remember if they had seating.) However, if you are looking to source your beans or grab a cup of coffee on the go, this is a great option.

First thing to note, the service was pretty slow, which seems to line up with what others have said. We had to wave down our wait staff couple times and at points it felt like they just MIA. Not terrible, but definitely noticeable. The ambience was a highlight. Very quaint and cozy with lots of eclectic decor on the walls that actually gives you something fun to look at. The vibe felt welcoming and relaxed, kinda like a neighborhood coffee shop mixed with a casual restaurant, which we liked, haha! Pricing caught me a bit off guard. It felt on the higher side, especially for flight style portions. That said, the espresso martini flight was pretty good. The caramel and butter pecan were the standouts. The birthday cake martini was a miss though. It did not taste like birthday cake, more like a drink with a lot of sprinkles mixed in and the color started blending in towards the end. Food wise, the deviled eggs were solid. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and the mayo mustard mix gave it a nice tang. The Cajun shrimp had a light bite and was enjoyable. The bacon was honestly my favorite, great smoky flavor and cooked well. For the burger sliders, we tried the buffalo chicken, fried chicken, and meatball. The fried chicken was easily the best. Tender, crunchy, and full of flavor. The meatball was a close second and reminded me of a classic meatball sub. The buffalo chicken was the weakest of the three. The buffalo sauce was pretty mild and the chicken was not as juicy or flavorful as the fried chicken. Overall, the biggest misses were the slow service and the higher price point for the portions. Some good flavors and a nice atmosphere, but expectations should be set accordingly.
