Dreary day but warm inside Borealis Coffee !

This is a very warm a welcoming coffee shops located in Riverside! AWESOME coffee and great location along the bike path! No matter the weather!

I love the Borealis location in Bristol, so this fall, I decided to trek out to their Riverside location! Both locations lean into the historic brick building aesthetic, and the Riverside location glows with natural light and cozy charm This location is smaller because it used to be a rail stop! It's totally transformed into what may be the cutest coffee shop in RI. The service and coffee making was top notch. I got a dreamy iced coffee, stayed to enjoy the space for a bit, and then hit up the East Bay Bike Path that this coffee shop is located along. It is the perfect weekend activity -- go! You won't regret the stop!

My favorite spot, especially in the Fall, when you can sit outdoors right alongside the bike path. Their coffee is consistently delicious, with some seasonal drinks on rotation. This fall, it was a Harvest Latte with maple syrup and a few spices that make for a perfect companion to sitting in their outdoor area with a book. Never too crowded & I'm almost always guaranteed to find a seat.

A unique location and unique blend, no pun intended, of cool and funk. I have driven by here many times but never took the time to stop in for coffee. I am gland I did today. A clean modern interior and cool train station converted into a retail coffee shop by the East Bay Bike path is very inviting, just even from looking outside. Such a unique space, compared to bland generic commercialized coffee shop experience you find elsewhere. I did not know that they roast their own coffee in small batches. So awesome. Unlike other coffee shops who outsource the roasting, they do it from the green coffee beans. That takes some skills and knowledge. I am not sure where they get their baked goods, but I liked their ginger lemon scone to go with my dark roast coffee of the day. I will be sure to return to this place when I am near by.

Just another review! Ok. It's hard for me to contain myself here because Borealis became my favorite when I first discovered while on the bike bath a year ago. I got to meet the owner at that time, who explained to me why it's named Borealis and here in the Ocean State (he's from Alaska where coffee is a passion) and met his wife (who's from RI). They source their own beans, very carefully, and I got to virtually your the process on an online Yelp event (yeay, Elite status!). They are so passionate about coffee, so you know it's done right. And if you have a question, they will be happy to help. What I love about this place: the coffee is always always always simply fantastic. The food is great. And it's such a great location. Borealis is brewed at other coffee shops and you can buy your own beans (in person or online). #RIFoodFights #BestIcedCoffeeRI #BuyLocalRI

My favorite little unknown coffee shop. Make sure to order the 'Sam Hyde' its not on the menu but they'll make one if you ask nicely :3 You can order it either HOT or Iced - Dark roast - Toasted Marshmallow - White chocolate - Cinnamon on Top I highly recommend to check it out if you live near Barrington

Borealis wins for cutest coffee spot. Love the location. The coffee is delicious and never disappoints. However, the food menu is limited. The breakfast sando was pretty basic and the eggs were overcooked. However, sitting outside was lovely!

Went halfsies on the hummus and avocado toast. Really delicious stuff here.

Part of me wants to write a long-winded review of this place, but think I'll demure. Instead I'll just say that Borealis has gone into our weekly rotation and is some of the best coffee around. Consistency from visit to visit is great, and everyone who works there is awesome and kind. They also have a little kitchen and make some tasty toasts (including one with homemade hummus and Moroccan carrots, which is amazing) and improbably delicious biscuits that they serve with house preserves. Highly recommended despite being a little off the beaten path--which is actually nice.

It was an absolutely beautiful day at the beach and evening so we decided to get coffee at the Gathering Grounds. Then we strolled back to the seating near the Grist Mill and the pond. Grabbed a few outdoor rocking chairs with a little table to rest our coffees on and enjoyed the beautifully manicured seating area watching the ducks, geese and birds while talking away and watching the sun set. To be honest I was kind of wishing I had brought a change of clothing to go into the restaurant but I was in board shorts, Crocs and a rash guard. However, the coffee and atmosphere was the perfect ending to a great day. I highly suggest that you not only enjoy the Old Grist Mill Tavern, Gathering Grounds and Four Echoes Vintage but to enjoy the beautiful property that is well cared for. Take a walk, enjoy the fresh air and the wild life too! I highly recommend the entire experience!

Ice cream, and sandwiches, which I liked the chicken salad on the sesame bagel. The pastries, also very good! we got the raspberry square and a chocolate chip cookie. Service was prompt, and polite. Parking is off street in a lot. Also right next to a little lake or whatever body of water, which makes it serene, in my opinion.

Been here quite a few times now and it has been consistently good each time. Very easy to order off…read moretheir website - the only thing is I don't get an email or text confirmation with an ETA but usually give myself 30 mins before picking up. I usually get a notification once the order is ready for pickup but I like to get there beforehand. We've enjoyed most of the food each time we've visited. I typically always get the Spicy Soy Garlic Wings - crispy yet still juicy and they're not super spicy so makes for a good bite. We enjoy the sushi rolls and poke bowls as well but what we don't care for as much are the fried rice options we've gotten before - they're a bit bland so we stick to apps and sushi options. Nice bright interior if you choose eat in but this seems to be mainly takeout. They have a few tables as well as high top chairs. The service is ALWAYS super friendly and you're always welcomed with a smile. It's a nice dinner takeout spot in the area.

Everything had its own taste, that you could actually taste, and not have it muddled together. Really likes the fried chicken as well. We also had the vegetarian bowl, very good! Comes with a side sauce. People there were very pleasant and attentive. Oh, you also have to go up to the kiosk at the counter to order. Will be back to try the boba teas and more menu options. 感谢您的食物和友好的服务

I got the common yogurt with fruit with granola and honey and this was very delicious. Don't be fooled, this was just a simple, run of your mill yogurt, this felt worth my money and delicious! Fresh fruit and light honey~ I want to know what exact yogurt was used! As for the coffee, it was delicious and a good balance. Most coffees or lattes tend to be overly sweet, and this was crafted perfectly in my opinion. Worth the trip. My coffee was the RI latte, with coffee milk that was tasty~ my mother enjoyed her vanilla latte and she also appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet and was creamy~ our order was completed quickly, promptly, and staff was kind. We had an appointment to get too, so I'm glad we stopped by for a quick pick up. Wish the pastries were closer to the counter. This spot seemed to be a favorite since most tables were busy with other customer with meals and laptop. Probably a good spot to work/study at. Very chill vibes~
