My friend wanted to try this place, and I tagged along. I wish we had gone earlier in the day to explore the antique/thrift shop attached to the ice cream shop but we went almost before closing time. I am not sure if because it was late they had ran out of most of the flavors we wanted or if they're always low on inventory, but about half of their flavors were not available. We ended up getting blackberry and pumpkin. I am kind of glad we explored flavors we wouldn't normally go for because they were actually really delicious -- individually and even better mixed together. The blackberry was fruity and creamy, and the pumpkin was creamy, with a hint of pumpkin spice, and maybe a sweet note resembling caramel/toffee. The serving size was great. We both ordered small and got a heaping cup of ice cream. There is a big parking lot, and the staff was friendly.

Super cute spot! If money were no object, my home would look like this place. Coffee was so tasty, especially the chocolate iced coffee. Service was friendly and sweet. I love the books available to read and buy. They even have a book club. Wish I lived closer, because I'd be here all the time!

Coffee and macarons from gathering grounds. Cutest spot ever!!

Olivia and Danielle helped me and they were so nice and wonderful! I had such a great experience and everything was great! I got an iced coffee and macaroons, checked out the book selection, read all of the awesome ice cream options and explored the antiques. This place is literally all of my fave things all rolled in one and the people here were amazing!!!

New to Seekonk! And just what we needed. I kept saying, I wish we had a local coffee place near by when I'm feeling like sitting, and not wanting a fast chain. So cute inside the Four Echo vintage and antique shop and right next to the Old Grist Mill. The vibes are high and cozy. Today was rainy so we sat inside the warm wood shop near their gas fire and listened to the indie music and browsed the book selection. On a sunny day, you can sit by the pond outside and watch the birds. The location is prime and so far, the coffee is too. Multiple flavor shots available, I got a maple pecan hot latte and it said the syrup is house made. I got it for here so it came in a nice coffee cup. Local paintings line the walls and the employees are very nice and kind, welcoming you in. I will definitely be back for the icecream they also offer!!!!

Double dirty chai with oat mylk, Maple Nut Kitchen Granola (Maple Nut and Lavender Blueberry), super cute spot to sit.

So cute and friendly. Had a double dirty chai with oat mylk. Very tasty. Bought some semi local (New Hampshire) granola to take home and share.

The first time we went, we got our own, but we quickly realized it is better to share one because it is more than enough for two people and leaves you fully satisfied. Service is excellent - orders are efficiently taken and the employees are all polite and friendly. Prices might look a little high when you walk in, but I think they are actually fair for what you get: a fresh baked bubble waffle, delicious small batch ice cream in interesting flavors, toppings such as fresh fruit, mochi, nuts, etc. Wish there was indoor seating, but the outdoor seating area is nice. Glad that they have water and cups available, as well as cardboard containers to lay down your ice cream and waffle in because they are sooo big! Also, I didn't see it on the menu, but I did see some people purchase ice cream without waffles, so if you want something a little smaller, that is an option too.

I now live on an island - and you bet that when I went off-island last week I requested that my dad stop here on the way home from Hyannis. My dad had to say yes; having worked in the ice cream industry in his youth, he knows a good cone when he sees one and Somerset Creamery tops his list as well. Embarrassingly, we got there 10 minutes before they opened. We camped in the parking lot. When it was time to go in, I already knew what I was getting. Chocolate mint ice cream in a waffle cone. First of all, it is the best ice cream flavor ever created. Chocolate and mint ice cream with Oreo cookie pieces. What else could you ask for?? And then their waffle cones and made fresh and they are oh so good. The service is always great, and they now take credit cards!! I cannot recommend this place enough. The only downside is that they do not have any dedicated seating, inside or outside. There are some planters of sorts that you can sit down on. Once I sat on one for three hours for a first date - can't say I recommend that. But if you want good ice cream, come here! (Yes, it is better than the Barn in my opinion).

They even have pup cups now! I went tonight with some friends. A little bummed because you can only try one flavor before ordering now. I was between two vegan options and try the coffee Oreo. It tasted like banana to me and they informed me it is a banana and coconut base. I don't think the sign said banana so just be warned if you have an allergy. But I think the banana also helps keep it really creamy! I couldn't really taste the coffee so I ordered the other vegan option which is black raspberry Oreo! I asked them to clean the scoop before scooping mine for an allergy and they did and really did a fantastic job cleaning it, as I did not get sick (yay!) buuuuut they did give me the coffee vegan ice cream instead of what I ordered. Not the end of the world because it was still non dairy which is most important but wasn't what I wanted. I think she just forgot after she cleaned the scooper what I asked for.

After placing our order, an employee asked what other dessert we might have chosen. My partner said mint chocolate chip, and the employee surprised us with two mini mint chocolate chip sandwiches on the house. We took our treats to a nearby park. They were very cold (in a good way), and we were advised to wait a few minutes before eating them, which was perfect since it was such a hot day. We didn't talk at all while eating our ice cream sandwiches , they were that good. It's also great to know they offer catering. A must try spot. The store was quiet when I arrived. Service was fast and friendly. They have lots to choose from on their menu. I wanted to try so many things but because I was driving back to Boston and wasn't sure whether it would totally melt, I tried an ice cream sandwich. For myself I chose the banana pudding and for my hubby, the mint n chip. They double-bagged them and I put them on the floor in front of the floor AC and turned that baby on full blast. To my surprise, they were completely in tact when I arrived home. Yes, I was freezing the whole ride back given it was 51 degrees and rainy. Anyways onto the ice cream sammies - my hubby loved his. I thought mine was good but I felt like the cookie was too rich - it definitely did not need the chocolate dipped side with peanuts. I'm not sure why but this combo wasn't super appealing to me. The ice cream was very good but more on the sweeter side. Next time I'm in the area I want to try the strawberry taco.

We didn't mind though because it gave us time to go through their massive menu. They have lots of soft and hard flavors, along with sundaes, shakes, and much more. My friend was set on trying their Dubai chocolate ice cream until he saw that it was a massive cup with an overwhelming amount of ice cream and toppings. Since we both decided on their apple pie ice cream, we shared their medium size ($6) to save a couple dollars compared to two smalls. We sat outside, but their tables are far, with very little lighting so it was sad. The apple pie ice cream literally taste like the first bite of vanilla ice cream over a slice of apple pie during thanksgiving dinner, without the cold and hot combo you get with the real experience. This is a seasonal flavor so it only comes around September, but I would highly recommend. I thought their prices were fair and aligned with most ice cream shops.
