    Rose milk green tea

Really enjoyed my experience at this little cafe! The hostess and servers were very polite and kind. Since it was a very cold day out, they made us a delicious green tea with one of the best boba teas I have ever tasted! Will definitely need to come back to try their food and the rest of their boba drinks!

I loved my first experience at Sake Cafe and can't wait to go back. Staff were wonderful and very friendly, boba was delicious, and the food was served quickly- and was incredibly good as well as enough for leftovers! So happy I've discovered this restaurant.

The sushi here has been the best around. It's made on the spot, quick, and delicious. I usually get shrimp tempura with a side of spicy mayo - don't waste time with grocery store sushi when this is quick and easy! You can even call ahead or order online!

I love this spot! I'm a huge poke bowl and sushi fan, and this place is by far my favorite spot in RI! The fish is super fresh! Also, their miso soup is solid. The service is likewise amazing. It seems to be a family that owns this business and the lady is always super nice and considerate. I'm really glad I live so close because I'll definitely be a regular here

With that in mind, there's nothing else I could imagine other than a hot bowl of ramen. Located about 1.7 miles or a 7min drive away, I was excited. Upon pulling up to the front of the building, you can drive slightly further down SE and park in the small lot with several spots. I actually don't remember anything about the interior to comment much. I was laser focused on getting food in my tummy. We ordered; Tan Tan Men ; a bowl of ramen with spicy pork miso broth. this absolutely hit the spot. it was deliciously salty and full of umami, and the toppings were just right, and I inhaled it in minutes Fried Calamari ; another excellent dish. the calamari was nice and crispy and the meat was tender. couldn't have been done any better. the mango chili puree sauce was also very good and something I haven't had before Tako Yaki ; I'm not sure if I need to say anything about this. it's about as yummy and expected of a properly-done tako yaki as you would expect Karaage ; this one was actually pretty upsetting with how bad it was. the chicken seemed like it was very overcooked - the skin was hard and crunchy instead of crispy, the meat was not juicy, and honestly the portions of these chicken bites were pitiful. I even sent a snap to a friend and she felt bad for me. the flavor was also immensely salty. it came with spicy mayo (which was actually spicy! that never happens!) and a tonkatsu sauce, but honestly I was desperately in need of something sweet like ketchup or honey. Wife and I ate a total of 3 pieces. Our waiter was very apologetic and asked multiple times if we wanted it re-done or if we wanted something else, but we were already pretty content by the time we could air our complaints. To my satisfaction, he removed the karaage from the bill. Despite the miss, the customer service and the quality of the other foods makes it easy for me to still give the place full stars.

I am a sushi lover and typically when visiting I will get sushi. The sushi has always been pretty standard for me with no real stand-outs. I did visit a few weeks back and was really disappointed. The rolls had the potential of being unique, but the flavor just was not there. I got the Hot Lover roll and the Monster roll. I was just hoping for more with both. I enjoyed the Monster roll more than I enjoyed the Hot Lover. My party also ordered the Ichigo Wontons and Veggie Tempura. Both were also mediocre. I was the only one in my group to order an alcoholic beverage and everyone else ordered fountain drinks. Everyone got their drinks before I did (which I would understand as they were only fountian drinks), but we also got our appetizers before my drink came. It took at least 20 minutes for my drink to get to me. The drink itself was okay - I got a martini. Overall, I probably wont visit again unless I am going for Hibachi.

Sushi, snacks, ice cream, drinks, lunch, candy, produce, frozen foods, I could go on and on, but you just have to go to experience it yourself! We were there towards the end of the day, so must of the sushi was sold out, but the items remaining in the refrigerated case looked fresh and delicious. Prices were fair for all of the items we looked at, and felt lower to us than other similar markets we've visited. Although I think that the Asian Market off of Elmwood might have lower prices on some items. In addition to the market, there is also a counter where you can order hot foods to eat there or take to go. There is a nice seating area with chairs & tables, and there is also a counter with chairs next to the window. We'll be back earlier in the day next time to see the full selection of sushi.

I've been coming to Haruki East for at least 15 years, which is probably the strongest endorsement…read moreI can give any restaurant. In a state with no shortage of sushi options, this has remained my go-to spot year after year. At this point, I think I've tried either everything on the menu or come pretty close to it. That's what happens when you keep returning to the same place for over a decade. The reason I keep coming back is simple: consistency. The fish is always fresh, the sushi is well prepared, and the food is reliably good. If I order something cooked, it arrives hot and exactly as expected. There are restaurants where you're rolling the dice every visit. Haruki East has never felt like one of them. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and easy to get to. The location is convenient, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. That's become increasingly rare these days. The only reason I'm stopping at four stars instead of five is the service. While I've never had a genuinely bad experience here, the last few visits have been noticeably slower than I remember. Service has also felt a bit inattentive at times, and these weren't during packed dinner rushes or busy weekend nights. Nothing terrible, just enough that I found myself waiting longer than expected for drinks, check-ins, or the bill. That said, the food continues to be excellent, and that's ultimately why I keep coming back. After 15 years, Haruki East has earned a level of trust that few restaurants achieve. When I'm craving sushi, this is still the place I think of first. The occasional service hiccup hasn't been enough to change that. If you're looking for fresh fish, a broad menu, reasonable prices, and a restaurant with a long track record of getting the important things right, Haruki East remains one of the best choices in Rhode Island.
