I ordered pickup from Osaka today for first time (too hungry to take pics first lol, have take pics next time). I ordered on a Tuesday and not sure if that's why a fee things were 30% off or if it was because was late in the day (7:30pm) but since got a discount i ordered a fee more items. My husband picked the order up so i cant speak on service. I do know parking is an issue since it doesn't seem to have a lot (if they do, its only 2/3 spots behind) We ordered: Pu Pu platter for 1; small pork lo mein, 1 nine chow, 1 spicy salmon roll and 1 godzilla roll. The order was ready in 15 minutes, i live 3 min away so this was great! The pupu platter had a few things only my husband tried but he liked them all; i tried the crab ragoon and loved it (9/10). The nime chow (5/10)wasn't my favorite; it seed to have some type of lettuce in it and not much taste. The clear sauce wasn't great either; i wonder if they have a different type of peanut sauce. The two sushi rolls i liked; the godzilla was still warm from the tempura batter. I only wish it had less batter on some pieces. (7.5/10) Overall i liked most things and def will order again. Ordered 3 sushi rolls and a House Lo Mein to go. The sushi rolls I got were Spicy Salmon, Spicy Yellow Tail, and Shrimp Tempura Roll. Everything was filling and delicious. The price was reasonable. Service was fast, friendly, and excellent. I even got a complementary drink. Definitely will come back to try more of the food off the menu. read more

This is a great, local, no-fuss place for takeout. While it's not the best Asian food you've ever had, for the price and convenience it's a great option. The food takes relatively quickly to make and they have a good assortment of Chinese and Japanese. There's nowhere to sit inside so it's strictly take out only, but isn't that the best way to enjoy Chinese? I thought the beef teriyaki was really good, but the crab Rangoon was very cream cheesey and not crabby. The shrimp fried rice is only fried rice and shrimp and eggs, no veggies involved. There's barely a parking lot in the back, but there's street parking. Last time there were some hooliganism hanging out front but they were harmless. read more

This place has a vast amount of different sushi options. I found myself really enjoying the yellow tail roll and the shrimp tempura roll. I really like how they assort the plates of sushi when there is a larger order. All the sushi tastes fresh and is offered at a good price. They do not have a sitting area, only pick up. Very little food-2 wings, beef terriyaki, crab rangoons, spare ribs, and egg rolls. The wings were the only thing that was good. the crab Rangoon filling was excellent but the shell was stale and rubbery (like it was already cooked and then reheated/microwaved). Low quality! How are people giving this place high reviews. None of the food was fresh and it was easy to tell the quality of the food was poor. My takeout order was some of their lunch specials. I got their Spicy Tuna and Boston roll. (2 for $13). Neither had much taste and the color of each roll was dull. It came with a salad and soup, but both were pathetic. The salad was a tiny amount of old iceberg lettuce, an old tomato wedge and the soup was just broth, which had okay flavor. Then I ordered the General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice. ($9.10). This was pretty good. The chicken was coated in a tasty sauce and the rice was pretty good, nothing crazy. However, the chicken pieces were dark meat, no pieces were very juicy and some were tough. Possibly frozen before. They probably bought the chicken at a crappy wholesale store like Restaurant Depot. I had abnormal gas and my stomach was a little upset after eating this food split between 2 meals. Best to avoid eating here. read more

I just looked, it's been a year since my last review. I'm just getting over Covid, I asked my wife if she would grab some food from Osaka. I was craving there Hot & Sour & Wonton soups. I like to mix them together. Always HOT and made fresh. Love the tofu and veggies in the H&S soup. The Wonton soup speaks for its self. We also got an order of Egg Rolls, which were crispy on the outside and steaming hot on the inside. Full of veggies and pork. Today was nasty and rainy, so we had to get a large order of there house fried rice. Absolutely delicious!!!!! Lastly had my go to, Kung Po Chicken with peanuts. It's one of our favorites! Tons of Chicken, broccoli peppers and carrots, in a deep rich Kung Po sauce. Ya can't go wrong. As far as ambience goes, it's a take out place, it is what it is. The sushi is pretty good, with alright freshness. Prices are great! The place looks pretty uninviting. When the front of the house is dirty, it makes me worry about the back of the house. Event when I order ahead (and I order online only) - I always have to wait. They forget about the receipts from the online orders. The front person is always on her cell, texting or talking. Sometimes I just wait for her to be off the cell to ask about my order. And then, she grabs the slip and they just start to make it. They've also forget items - so check your order before driving off. There is no dining inside. It's strictly take out. But, it is nice to have a sushi joint in the neighborhood. And, when they do pay attention to you - they are nice. I will continue to go probably, but three stars is the highest I would rate it. read more

Congratulations Pawtucket. We just got a new winner! This place is strictly take-out and looking at the pictures (I think because of the way everything is packaged in those plastic take-out containers) I was worrying that we'd be getting pre-made lower quality sushi like you get from someplace like Market Basket, but WOW... it's not at all like the supermarket stuff. In fact, I'd say that this sushi will give any other swankier sushi joint a good run for their money. Everything is ultra fresh and high quality and they've got some creative roll recipes that you won't get elsewhere (try the simple but really fun avocado/peanut roll). Add to that the fact that, at least for now all sushi is half price and this place is just a total no-brainer for any sushi lover. Hopefully their plan is to keep it that way and make it up in volume. No doubt we'll be there weekly! They have a full pan-Asian menu as well. We haven't tried it yet but with sushi like that I'm guessing that we won't be disappointed. read more

Been living and eating Chinese food regularly in Pawtucket for a couple years now. This place has just surpassed Li Lai Wok as the best chinese takeout place in Pawtucket. My criteria has always been taste, cost, take out speed, and absence of any...grotesque experiences from other reviewers. This place takes the cake! Best Lunch combos you can ask for, and their smoothies are great! I personally went with the Mango one. Their Lo Mein and Dumplings were some of the best I've had too! They were ready as soon as I got there as well which surprised me considering I arrived only 12 minutes after calling. Great food, generous portions what's not to like. Had pickup last night, I had Hot and Sour soup and General Gao chicken, both were very good, and my wife liked the Chicken Lo main. The place is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I couldn't tell if they were doing dine in because the curtain to the dinning room was closed. We live in the neighborhood and in walking distance. We decided to just order a couple of soups from Osaka. What could go wrong with soup? This was the worst soup ever. My wife likes won ton, this was tasteless, inedible junk. I went with vegetable soup, all I got was raw veggies with what seemed like hot water poured over them. If this is the best that they can do, they need to pay a lot more attention to the quality of the food. read more
