This place has been around since before I was born, I'm in my forty's. I enjoyed it as a little kid with my parents and still do as an adult. The beef teriyaki is one of my favorites not fatty and great taste. They also have a separate bar when you first walk in to the left of the door of the dining room. Definitely a good choice when wanting some delightful food and also may be requested no MSG. read more

VERY disappointed! Used to go here years ago, the food back then was excellent. Fast forward to today, the place looks EXACTLY as it did 24 years ago. The food however was a big disappointment. Fried rice looked to be reheated, dark and dry! The Pu-Pu Platter okay BUT the Scorpion Bowl sucked, weak and coconut tasting. Too bad, this place used to be great. read more

YA know, been going to Dragon Villa over 36 years, my fave food! HOWEVER, went last night to get my son's birthday dinner. Spent $60, I was SO disappointed! The combo meals were good-even tho they are way overpriced now. Ordered 3 apps for over $30 and they were SO gross, like they were sitting around for 3 days omg so gross. Not going back. read more

I was really pleasantly surprised at how good the food was at Dragon Villa. I've passed it for years, but after a wake nearby, my brother and I grabbed some dinner there. The waitstaff was attention and sat us soon after entering. It was pretty busy. I ended up getting the combination plate, since I'm vegetarian- I got the vegetable lo mein and asked for meatless fried rice instead of the pork one that normally comes on the combination plate. I also was able to substitute a spring roll in place of the egg roll. I'm so glad I got the combination plate because WoW the fried rice was awesome. I'd definitely go back just to get the rice. The spring rolls and lo mein wasn't bad either but I don't like water chestnuts so next time I will ask to omit them! read more

Dragon Villa - Vegetable Lo Mein Combination plate with meatless fried rice and a spring roll. Very tasty! Especially the rice! - Chinese Near Me - Lincoln, Rhode Island

Starting off with what we got; first the bread is not bad just plain old bread. Then the egg drop soup, it was like a weird goop and I would not recommend. Then we got our other sides, and they gave us the wrong side. Then our main course: not bad, got the shrimp lomein, big portions.P.S.never got my drink i ordered a Shirley Temple read more

Dragon Villa is super yummy and consistent! Since discovering the restaurant I can say that they have some of the best Chinese food in RI. Drinks are super yummy and cheap (can be on the stronger side but who's complaining)? Servers can be okay. read more

Walked in at 8:20 and was told we couldn't sit down that they were closing in 45 minutes. Bad way to run a Business. No wonder they're not busy like they use to be. read more

I love this place ! Always the best food, best prices and the best/friendliest staff. If you want the best food come here you won't regret it. read more

The place has been the same for 50 yrs. Clean fast hot food. Always delicious. Hot tea at the table right away. A lot to choose from. Clean open space. Nice bar for parties on the side. Good drinks. Great friendly staff read more

Delicious food. Always fresh. Bar needs a little help. Overall good experience. Nice place to sit and eat with all your friends.

This is a go to location. Well personally, don't care to eat in there, (I feel it's too dark) the food is good and the prices are as well. If you ask for some things specific, they are good to accommodate. Good prices and portions. read more

This location is pretty close to the apartment. I just moved into so I figured I'd give it a try. There are 1 million Asian restaurants around town. It's hard to find a good one. This one definitely does not make the cut although their general sales sauce is very tasty. There was like no chicken. It was all breadingvery unfortunate will not be back. read more

Our favorite Chinese restaurant in N Providence closed so we were looking for a new one We chose Dragon villa because they have been open for years. We ordered a lot of food. The chicago chow mein and the pork strips were good. However the chicken wings, the shrimp and the lo mein were really dry . Big disappointment. Haven't tried the egg rolls yet so I can't comment on them. We threw the to go menu away and will not be returning. Especially because on top of everything else it was expensive. read more

Although this restaurant has been around awhile, my wife and I have never been there and decided to try it out on the advice of a friend. Glad we listened! I had what I consider to be the best general tso chicken I've ever had. My wife had the Chicago chow mein combo plate and thought it was average but flavor seemed authentic. Won ton soup was excellent and full of pork. Cabbage , and won tons. 1 complaint,: extra charge for crispy noodles. Not a big deal as it wasn't an unreasonable price. I guess I was just surprised. One of the only Chinese that still serves rolls before dinner. Another disappointment was duck was not on the menu. We will dine here again! read more

To dine in is amazing the food is awesome the best Chinese food ha da down i eat there all the time but had a bad experience tonight in order online and had it delivered they use the app beyond menu to deliver it was a terrible experience will never order from a restaurant that's use beyond menu for delivery .. but I will continue to eat there in person the food is amazing and so yummy and the customer service at the restaurant is excellent but the delivery service they use is terrible.. read more

Dragon Villa - Clean hospitable, waiting area - Chinese Near Me - Lincoln, Rhode Island

Food is always consistent, bar vibe is really cool on a Friday night. The place could definitely use an update, but great spot for meeting up with friends and having food and drinks. Half priced apps at the bar are great too! read more

True Score: 3 Stars What can I say about this gnarly Pawtucket "Lincoln" institution? First it's a great value for food prices with big portions. Food is a 5 out of 10, but it is Chinese-so it's always a subjective opinion. Now is the place a bit on the ghetto fabulous side absolutely. The bar area is trip. Loud, karaoke, vulgarity, and definitely interesting. This place is made for the locals crowd that it draws. I can't recommend it, because I think some people would be intimidated. However, I can't tell you not to go because it is quite spectacle especially on karaoke night. Be prepared to meet some interesting possibly shady characters. Thanks read more

We had to send the wonton soup back because it was barely warm. When the combination plates arrived at the table, the crab Rangoon's were not hot. The rest of the food was in the same condition. This used to be our go to place, but not anymore. This was the second time that we were disappointed there and it will be the last. read more

Not the freshest beef and the dumplings were barely steamed and very doughy. They are quick and very nice.

So it was my first time there. Applause ? Thanks but no need because it was trash where I'm from. I took out the General Tso's Chicken served in a portion controlled takeout container. Placing it in my car it carried no aroma. The amount of food for $10.75 didn't match up at all. Would've been nice to include a fork so because I was out and about and was forced to eat with my hands. The chicken wasn't tender. The egg roll ? Miniature and overcooked. One tree of broccoli in the corner and a torn off piece of bread. Pork and onions were incredibly scarce in the fried rice therefore tasted bland. Only thing good was that the sauce was hot. No return to this joint. It's not for me. read more

Dragon Villa - General Tso's Chicken - Chinese Near Me - Lincoln, Rhode Island

I honestly think this is the best Chinese food in Rhode Island. Everything is absolutely delicious.

I've only gotten take out food from the Dragon Villa, but it has always been great. The dining area looks a little plain inside, but the service inside (getting orders to go) seems decent in my opinion. I've gotten food from here quite often and the quality, portion size and value is very good. I've only had a couple of issues when some food items were not in the order, but we called and they made good for it. The parking lot is a little tight and hard to get out of if you park close to the building. I recommend parking a little farther from the building, or at least on the outer side of the parking spaces. This is one of the few decent Chinese restaurants in the area, so I would recommend it. read more

Went last night to dine in with my boyfriend. Met him in the bar and based off the music... We felt like we were in 1992. But don't blame it on the rain, blame it on the other patrons who were in there choosing the tunes! Great for people watching for sure! We moved into the restaurant area. So... we caught a case of the giggles when we first sat down and our waitress was having a really good time with us. But by the end she had lost her laughter and just wanted us out! Very hot and cold. I had to go meatless due to Lent so I ended up with a combo plate of lo mein and friend rice. Nothing too exciting but cooked just fine and the rice is even better with their delicious sweet and sour sauce! He had the chicken wing combo. He said the wings were small and needed just a little bit of seasoning but fried just right! We also got down with the 'funk.' A drink identified on the menu as a few delicious liquors ladies love combined. It was strong! And in a tiki cup- bonus points there. But there was a garnishment of fruit on a long toothpick across the top of the cup. Here's where things get blurry and not from the drink... There was a slice of lemon or orange that was really dry and the peel had blueish green ground into it. I say lemon or orange because we are just unsure! Let's just say it wasn't fresh and leave it at that. read more

Food is always good and made to order! Service is excellent too. Best wings and chow menu around

Only one good waitress in the restaurant and she wasn't working. We walked out after we asked for waitress and we were waiting and owner replied she came to our table many times. The repeat trips was she was forgetting everything. After 15 minutes of waiting and 3-4 tables occupied we walked out. Never again and bad attitude from management. It's a matter of time....it will close with that poor business model. read more

The food is really good. But it took way too long for them to make my food. I've never had to wait almost a hour to get Chinese food. Then they blamed it on the fried chicken wings needing to be cooked that long. read more

Food taste like it's been out all day, not refrigerated. Very dated interior, dark and gloomy. Bathroom was very dirty, floors were sticky, gross. read more

Okay so don't expect anything. This place is a straight up dive. I also wouldn't use the bathroom but you be the judge. I placed an over the phone order because this place doesn't have a website or an online menu which doesn't really make sense considering what they charge. I ordered a PuPu for 2 and an order of chicken teriyaki; shouldn't break the bank, right? Welp, I was never told a total over the phone so I had no idea what to expect. I never thought it could be over 30 dollars because as of 4 years ago, the PuPu for 2 was around 16 dollars. I walk in and it's just drab. No life no hope. So I find the door to the seating area and I'm met with this really irritated looking woman behind the counter. She asks my name and grabs my food and says 42 dollars and blah. I'm like what? No way, and she's explaining to me how the establishment and the owners don't claim anything online and if people get prices wrong it's not their fault etc... I'm saying well the owner should at least check yelp or update some of the things online so that customers can make informed decisions. She was talking over me at this point and saying the owner wants nothing to do with any of the internet. Avoid here. They're rude and don't care. The bit of overcharging in previous reviews ARE TRUE. I didn't even get an itemized receipt so trust me they're tipping themselves which is gross. Also, the food was put in the bag like this. Food was hot but their oil is old. Eventually, old oil will kill you. Do with that what you will. Hmu when you find a good Chinese place around here. read more

My family has been coming to this place for years, visited from out of town yesterday, ordered egg foo young rice and sticky wings. As I was enjoying my egg foo young I noticed something black, I cut a little more only to realize there was a dead roach in my food. I thought about going to get my money back but honestly I don't want to be anywhere near that place. Wouldn't recommend. Zero stars. Disgusting ! I threw up all night! read more

Dragon Villa - A roach in egg foo young. Had I known the recipe called for roaches I would've have never ordered!!! - Chinese Near Me - Lincoln, Rhode Island

Decor is literally going on like 20 years now lol. The food is mediocre typical Asian American junk food and what makes this place unique is they bring you a bread roll to start the meal off and it literally seems like they have maybe a big ol pile of them out in the back and they throw um on a plate and bring um to you. The place just gives me the wonder what that kitchens like vibes. read more

Honestly Dragon Villa has ruined other Chinese food places for me. From there orange chicken to the crab rangoons, everything is so good! Me and my boyfriend were seated at 8:25 and our food came out by 8:40! It was hot an delicious. The music is great and the decor. I highly recommend. read more

I ordered Boneless Chicken with brown gravy and drove 15 minutes to pick it up, 15 minutes to drive home. And guess what, no brown gravy. How do you forget brown gravy when it's right in the description? That is what makes the whole meal. Called them, they wanted to know if I wanted to come back. Waste another half hour and come home to cold chicken. No thanks. So I got a sorry. Thanks loads. Not even a come back another time for a free meal in place of the one I ruined for you.
