Ultimately I had the 2lb boil with 1lb of mussels, 1/2lb of shrimp, and 1/2lb of clams in the captain Loui sauce with a side of garlic noodles. Our waitress came back quickly with a bib, gloves, and a bucket for shells. Not long after our meals came out and let me tell you everything was excellent! The seafood was cooked perfectly, plenty of sauce, and even the corn and potato were out of this world. I ordered the sauce medium and it definitely had a nice kick to it. The garlic noodles had great flavor, a little clumpy but with a little of that captain Loui sauce added on top it fixed the problem. The menu described the fried calamari as "tender calamari lightly fried and sautéed with tempura zucchini, banana peppers, and garlic butter." The Crudo Burger was described as an "8 oz house blend burger topped with lightly fried Brie, bacon pepper jam, roasted garlic aioli, and arugula on a buttery baked brioche, served with our signature fries." The calamari came out first and had great breading that was light and sort of shattered when I bit into it. I loved the banana peppers, but the calamari itself was rubbery. The zucchini was a fun addition that helped break up the flavors, and I wish there had been more of it. I also would have liked to taste more of the garlic butter. Once I finished that, my Crudo Burger came out, and between the burger and all the French fries, it was absolutely massive. On my first bite, I got hints of maple from the bacon jam. The burger itself was cooked nicely to a medium and had great flavor, while the bun was nicely toasted. My fries were good as well, seasoned nicely with some Parmesan and truffle flavor. Last but not least was the fried Brie in the middle of my burger. Honestly, it sort of put me over the top, and after eating it, I couldn't finish anything else. I ended up getting both the check and a to-go box for half of my burger and three-quarters of my fries. It's worth noting that my server was nice and enthusiastic throughout my time there. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future.
