Cuuuuute spot in Pawtuxet - I always love coming through that lil village! Found a spot right out front (a good omen) & was immediately pleased by the vibe of this place. Lots of gorgeous looking pastries & one gluten-free option - a raspberry scone. So of course, I ordered the raspberry scone. I also ordered one of their specialty lattes - some sort of peppermint situation. I asked for it iced & a little less sweet than usual. It was so tasty! The peppermint was subtle, not toothpaste-overwhelming. No straws to be found (I get the sentiment, but ugh, I had lipstick on) & few seating options. It was bustling in there mid-morning, mid-week. I should've asked if they had gluten-free bread for breakfast sandwiches... Maybe I'll call & ask. I would definitely stop by again if I was in the area, but if they have GF bread, I'd probably even go out of my way. Nice staff, moderate prices, overall good vibe. Thanks! read more

The coffee here is decent. I love that they have outdoor seating, which is kind of needed this time of year because it's always very warm in the actual shop. Their pastries are amazing though! I LOVVVVE this shop so bad!!! I come here for two things, their Seasonal flavored Iced Matcha and their Croissants. The girls at the shop are so friendly and attentive. Sometimes the line can be a little long but that's ok, the ambience just makes you want to slow down, and just be in the moment. Right now I been on their Shortbread Matcha WITH toasted marshmallow cold foam. It's delectable, creamy & DELISH!!!!! Right amount of sweetness. read more

Great local coffee shop! Baked goods and breakfast sandwiches are fantastic, albeit pricey. Iced chais are good and consistent- seasonal drinks are always fun. And my dog says the water bowl they leave out after close is the best water in Pawtuxet Village! read more

If you love a croissant then you need to try this little coffee shop. Located in the quaint area of Cranston called Pawtuxet Village, is this very small but inviting place. Iced coffee was yummy and the chocolate croissants were amazing. Crispy, chewy and heaven sent. It's more or less a take out with a few tables and a few outside tables along the side walk. Good spot to people watch. The area is walkable and beautiful water view on the bridge just a very short walk. I would recommend the stop. read more

If your restaurant is named for cinnamon buns, that means you have to have good buns. Beans and Buns did not disappoint! I was asked if I wanted my bun warmed, which was an easy yes. The bun was a perfectly chewy, cinnamon sugar goodness! Definitely one of the best I've had in a long time. All the pastries, cinnamon buns included, are a perfect sharing size because they are big! I also got a ham and cheese croissant that was perfectly flaky and buttery. They also have fresh made breakfast sandwiches that we got on killer sour dough and fresh bagels. The EEAT was delicious with fresh arugula and avocado and a great honey mustard sauce to add some extra flavor! The space is a classic bakery cafe filled with happy plants and creative decor. The pastries are good. Coffee is good.The egg and bacon order was served in a cold iron fry pan which must've been sitting a while before they brought it to the table. The the egg and bacon should've been warmer.The bathroom is only for employees so if you have to use a bathroom, do not go there. They will tell you to go up the road to another place. I had tradeshow in town for a couple days. The show was by definition a failure. The coffee shop down the street was not! SUPER awesome friendly staff. Really cute cafe with charming window seats and really delicious food and drinks! We loved the open, airy feel of the seating area and the staff was friendly and patient, they also ran our food and drinks out to us which I felt was great service. The specialty latte and cold brew coffee were very good (and oat milk was available). And the bagel with cream cheese (from Providence Bagels) was really tasty! My husband and I order from here once a week! Great breakfast sandwiches (love that they have sourdough as an option!) and they have a gluten free scone on the menu that I love too. I avoid gluten because it doesn't make me feel well so it's nice to be able to get a sourdough breakfast sandwich & a little treat! Matcha here is great too & love their flavored coffees. This is such a cute place with great lattes, sandwiches, and pastries! We came in for lunch not knowing they were closing soon & they happily served us & even gave us some treats that were leftover from the day! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Nice little unique place down the street from Roger Williams Park - a bit rustic and a bit hipster. All their options were clearly displayed, which I appreciate. I got the snickerdoodle iced coffee with a splash of almond milk. Really good! A good coffee doesn't need much added and this one fit the bill. I also decided to keep with the Kardashians for a moment in time and have my first millennial Avocado Toast. They top it with everything bagel seasoning so it has plenty of flavor. This is a cute little cafe, and the food, pastries, coffee are good. But everytime I come here, if I order anything that has to be prepared, I'm sitting there for 15 minutes if not more. Today, there were 4 people working. Even people ordering simple bagel sandwiches waited over 20 minutes. I was here for a half hour because not only did it take a while but they forgot to make my food. It's pretty good for a flavored coffee and they have a station where you add your milk and sweetener yourself which I actually prefer. They had some fun drinks like a "pinkity drinkity" or s'mores cold foam. I couldn't leave without trying some of the food. The cinnamon bun was okay.
