I'm a fan of their pastries and coffees but I haven't tried everything. I had the chocolate almond croissant today and it blew my mind! We had them heat it which I totally recommend. What a lovely bakery for baked goods and cozy vibes! I enjoy sitting down in Seven Stars Bakery every now and then to work remotely. The Cranston location is very well kept, the staff are lovely and there's plenty of space to settle down. I love the open feel of this location with every corner having its own flair. The service for drinks is very quick. This Seven Stars location has such a charm to it - tons of natural lighting and the interior design feels timeless, classic and clean. There's an assortment of baked goods and ample options to choose from. My favorite items are the croissants and cheese danish both very airy and enjoyable with a cup of coffee. There's definitely something for someone. With a family of croissant connoisseurs I always leave with a box filled with these crescent shaped goods and they're just as tasty at home. If you're looking for classic bakery and coffee combos Seven Stars Bakery will have something to give you that morning boost. Love this café to pop in or for a business meeting. Their lattes are fantastic, especially the lavender one I love their raspberry danish when in season. My favorite one is the one in Cranston because it's close to Garden City so you can grab a coffee and pastry while knocking out errands/shopping. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a great place to catch up with a friend or work remote from for the day. They offer a wide menu selection: variety of coffees, pastries, sandwiches, pizza dough, homemade bread, ground coffee for sale. I love their Pumpkin Lattes and Strawberry Matcha Lattes! When I'm making dinner and need homemade fresh bread this is my go to spot...their bread pairs perfect with a nice lasagna or pasta dish. Great spot to relax in the outdoor patio on a nice day. Visited them twice on my stay in Providence and here are my thoughts: 1. The lemon pastries were delicious. 2. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was good but it only had about a half slice of bacon. I'm so glad Seven Stars opened a location in Cranston so I don't have to drive all the way to Providence for my fix (RI probs - who wants to drive more than 10 minutes away)! It's located right on Reservoir Ave and just a couple minutes away from Garden City. We stopped by for a quick breakfast before a shopping spree and haircut. I got an iced coffee, the broccoli, egg & cheddar sandwich, and shared a couple of pastries with my partner. The sandwich was small but very filling and it ended up being the perfect amount of food! After we were done eating, we finished our coffees in the outdoor seating area which is dog-friendly! It was fun to watch the little dogs hanging out :-) I did go back a second time later in the week (it was maybe a little after noon) hoping I could pick up something to bring to a BBQ but most of their stuff was already sold out! I didn't know that Seven Stars had opened a location near Garden City but it's one of the best options for coffee and pastries in the area. I came in around 9:30 and it was very quiet at that time. We ordered two iced coffees, a quiche, breakfast sandwich with their delicious biscuits, kouign amann, and a cranberry danish. The hot items tasted good but were both on the smaller side so I am glad we decided to supplement that with some sweeter items. The kouign amann was flaky and caramelized on top, while the danish had a nice balance of creamy and fruity. The interior space was very clean and spacious, while the outdoor section was quiet and secluded from the busy road right outside. read more

I visited Seven Stars on a recent visit to RI, I would give it 4.5 stars. I had their breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. It was delicious and the perfect size. It looks small but is very filling due to the biscuit, The staff is friendly and the line moved fast. The place is clean and spacious. Really enjoy coming here for a treat once in awhile. The olive breads are my absolute favorite and unlike anything I've tasted. They make them with Kalamata olives in a sourdough and it's really great with soups or paired with cheese or meats like prosciutto. For bakery items the scones are delicious and the cinnamon rolls and pecan buns are awesome. I haven't ever tried something sweet from here without enjoying it. The coffee is also fantastic, they source beans from George Howell which is an awesome roaster, especially for the Alchemy blend which is for espresso. I'm so thrilled that Seven Stars Bakery opened up in Cranston, just down the street from me. I checked it out today at lunchtime, and it was quite busy, but calmed down just a tad by the time we left. In addition to their BEAUTIFUL breads and bakery items, and coffee bar, they have a variety of cold sandwiches that can be heated, grilled cheese, breakfast sandwiches, salads, toast, and quiche. We sampled the ham and cheese sandwich on a baguette (unheated and totally delicious), the grilled cheese, perfect and not overly cheesy--just the right ratio of cheese to bread, the pecan and cranberry scone, and the chocolate almond croissant. Everything was really good. I would happily eat the same things in the future, but would also look forward to trying other menu items. I'm also planning on buying a ton of their bread, but since it's so close to home I can easily buy it on the fly whenever I need it so it's fresh! So happy for this convenience. As a typical Rhode Islander I'm usually to lazy to drive anywhere out of the way! I will make one suggestion for a menu addition in the future. A cup of tomato soup would be the most perfect pairing with that grilled cheese. Although I loved the grilled cheese itself, I was aching for a cup of soup to dip it into every other bite. Having one or two types of soup in addition to the basic selection of salads and sandwiches wouldn't be too far-fetched. Can't wait to come back soon. I was so excited to try this place and my friends and I decided to go post lunch for coffee and dessert on a Saturday so I feared it would be much like other locations on a Saturday - but I was pleasantly surprised, it was not because this location happens to be huge!! It was bustling but they picked the perfect spot to allow for a large number of customers, and they will come! They had a nice line setup and service was fairly quick, I was bummed that they ran out of olive bread hey not surprised. I had a maple latte that was delicious, made with VT maple syrup and although I generally don't drink sweet, it was tasty! I also tried a cranberry danish that was tart and crispy as well as some bites from friends cookies. I wasn't a huge fan of the cheddar scone, there's a certain over the top Parmesan cheese taste that is too much for me so I was done after a couple of bites: I look forward to making this a meeting spot to grab a coffee with someone when in Cranston. It's right near Garden City and directly located in the Chelo's plaza. There's parking in the back as well with a back door.
