I love this shop! They are the "pantry" to the Beehive Cafe, in downtown Bristol. They sell pastries, take and bake items (like cookie dough, Mac and cheese, pizza dough, etc.), cakes/cupcakes, premade food (such as seasoned cooked chicken breasts, salmon and sides) and other goodies. They also offer some items for a quick breakfast/lunch. This includes coffee, tea, two breakfast options and two lunch sandwiches (along with anything in the windows). There are usually lots of staff members working, so there is never a wait. I came in for the chickpea seasoning, which they use in the Cafe. Making roasted chickpeas with this flavor is one of my meal prep staples! Absolutely recommend a visit! I assure you it will become a regular stop for your errands.

All the star is very kind. My food and drinks is always consistent and great. They have great cupcakes and cookies. Highly recommended mango smoothie.

I am torn about my rating but allow me to explain. I came across the Beehive Pantry through their social media and was immediately excited about the look of their donuts. Apparently donut Saturday is a big deal here so I had to partake. Based on pictures and reviews, it appeared that we should arrive early to make sure we didn't have to wait in a line. Their posts always say, "Come get them before they're gone!" My husband went when they opened on a Saturday and not only was there no line but there was also no donuts. We weren't aware that they weren't available until later in the morning. Bummer. Luckily they had some, but not all, made. My husband basically had to buy all that they had, although it was only about 10 donuts to begin with. He also got me a chocolate chip cookie and about $40 later he left (a bit pricey). We sampled the donuts and were very impressed by their old fashioned donuts. We were sad we didn't get to try the chocolate or their special but we did try cinnamon sugar and glazed. When I say these donuts are amazing, I am not kidding. I was not expecting them to be so good. The only negative about the old fashioned was that it tasted as if the frying oil was shared with something else like fries or something similar to that. It was slight but I could taste it. They're still very good though. The other donuts., however... We dug into the yeast raised next. We both took a bite of the plain glazed and looked at each other like, "How are these so terrible and the other ones were so insanely good???" They were chewy, tasteless, and honestly it felt like I was eating pizza dough. Very odd. We gave the coffee cake yeast a taste and it was the same thing. We didn't even want to try their strawberry yeast because we were too grossed out. I did give their peanut butter cheesecake filled a chance and had to spit it out. The filling tasted like spoiled milk and again it had the chewy pizza dough taste. What was happening? I have no clue but I really could not eat it. I must say their chocolate chip cookie was yummy but nothing memorable. So...in conclusion, go for the old fashioned donuts and do not bother with the yeast unless you're into that sort of thing. And I'm not sure what time you should go but I guess take a chance and figure it out for yourself. If they can perfect their yeast raised then they could certainly earn high ranks among the other RI donut gems. I will have to try some of their other goodies before completely turning them away but I am still confused about this place!

Tt has everything you'd want from a great coffee shop: comfortable seating, plenty of room to spread out and work, a rentable conference room, and something you would not expect from a coffee shop, the Aurora Bar, stocked with a nice selection of local spirits and other favorites. My partner and I stopped in for a quick nibble for lunch on Sunday and this was perfect. My partner went with the Caprese sandwich, which is served on a pressed ciabatta with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, spinach, pesto mayo, and balsamic. It was simple and tasty, and I was lucky enough to get a couple bites! I went with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, which was also simple, but packed with flavor. It had all the obvious ingredients with the addition of pickles, which added such a nice briny little punch and really hit the spot. Something worth noting: both of our items were ordered from the laminated menu at the register, not in the beautiful leather-bound Aurora Bar menu, which appears to be an evening menu with cocktails and other tasty food items. For drinks, I went with an espresso tonic; the slight bitterness of the quinine plays really nicely against the bold espresso, and it's one of those combinations that's refreshing in a way that's hard to explain until you try it. One small note for the team: the Riverside location has always had a real warmth and cohesion to the staff that I haven't quite felt at Bristol. It's not a dealbreaker by any stretch, but a little more energy behind the counter would go a long way. Still a five-star spot, as the coffee and the space more than make up for it.

Yesterday I went in for my coffee that I've been drinking for the past 35 years: two shots of espresso with a splash of oat milk over ice. A staff member came out from the back and began yelling at me at the counter. I am a faculty member at Roger Williams and I was there with a student and line was to the door behind me. "that's a latte! you're just being cheap! I know its a Tik Tok Hack!" I'm 56. I've never been on Tik Tok. I wasn't trying to "hack" anything. I just wanted a splash of oatmilk in my $4 2 oz coffee. I told her I didn't know what she was going on about ridiculing in front of everyone in the restaurant. Then, she rolled her eyes and told me "I'll give you a thimble-full. That's it.!" My coffee came out completely black. She didn't even put enough in to change the color. seriously, what is wrong with people? if I was not there with the Student, I would have walked out.

You order at the register, give your name, and then they call it out from the counter to the right when it's ready. Very easy! Warm and welcoming staff! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. My one qualm with the bagels is that they use corn meal on their peels/board/sheets. Corn meal acts as ball bearings to slide dough more easily, but corn meal also burns easily! So, although my sesame bagel had the a great chew, it had a ring of burn on the bottom. I'd love for Bristol Bagel Works to try switching to semolina flour -- still great for the sliding, but it won't burn until a higher temperature!
