My new weekly stop, addicted to the sour cream and chive scones and the Samoa Oat bars amazing. The service is top notch so friendly and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance has a cool artsy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love it. Will be back next week.

I don't know if this is a good or bad thing, but I come here nearly every day. All coffee beverages are great, pastries are also really delicious, but I want to point out my new favorite thing, the Garlic and Herb Focaccia Slices. It is so soft, airy with an amazing garlic centric smell that will make you salivate. The first bite is more texture, then BAM, the back end of the flavorfullness is garlic herb. I've had this twice and can't wait until it's out again. I mean this thing is so good that I may ask them if I can be on a contact list for when it's made. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This shop is great as usual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are lots of seats to enjoy your meal, great place for remote working and staff are awesome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone who works here feel more like friends than random strangers who work in a café. If you haven't been, then go and you'll quickly find out why I love it here so much!! -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

I've been here a few times over the years, they staff is always so friendly & helpful, my go to is their chocolate peanut butter cupcake! This time I tried their carrot cake latte and it was delicious!! It was about the noise level you'd expect in a café, but there's outdoor seating if you prefer less chatter. Will definitely be back!

The best pastries! I love all the options and that they are always swapping the menu to add new seasonal items. The grab n go options are tasty and really affordable too. My favorite is chili or soup of the day with a giant piece of focaccia bread. Nikki is one of my favorites there, she is amazing!

Originally went in with the idea to just get a cupcake and left with a few other treats! I didn't think anything could top their focaccia until I tried the garlic knot! The staff is attentive, kind and handle peak hours with stride. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their floor plan makes for a great location for a coffee date, or study session![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

After dining at Garden Grille (the sister restaurant of Wildflour), my friend and I knew we had to make room for dessert. The moment we stepped into the cafe, it was clear we wouldn't be leaving empty-handed. Wildflour Bakery and Cafe offers vegan, kosher and gluten-free baked goods, accommodating a range of dietary needs without ever sacrificing flavor. I wanted to check out this spot with a friend who happens to be vegan, and I was genuinely surprised by how tasty the options were. I brought home a chocolate peanut butter cupcake for my partner, and he definitely approved. For myself, I had to lean into the good-weather vibes and went for the lemon lavender cupcake, a combo I was initially skeptical about. I ended up loving it. The lemon filling was bright and tangy, and the lavender added a floral but light touch that worked surprisingly well. The cake had a perfect texture, not too moist or dense. Presentation-wise, the lemon lavender was my favorite to photograph with its soft purple hue. The strawberry matcha latte was calling my name, so I couldn't resist ordering one to pair with all my sweet treats. It was a light, refreshing drink with just the right amount of sweetness. It leaned more on the earthy side, which I personally love. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wildflour has such a lovely space, with ample seating and plenty of natural light.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I can absolutely see myself coming back to work remotely or enjoy a casual outing with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also have to thank them for opening my eyes to how delicious vegan desserts can be. I truly had a lovely time here. Definitely give them a try. Plus, there's plenty of parking!

Princess Leia - a bit spicy from fresh ginger!
    David L.

During this intense heat wave, some refreshing cold smoothies sounded like the perfect afternoon nourishment. And, although we are not vegan, our Wildflour smoothies hit the spot! The pastries and dessert items were certainly tempting, but we craved the fruity smoothies. The Princess Leia smoothie was surprisingly spicy from a large amount of ginger, and not overly sweet or too creamy. Service was fairly quick despite the busy environment, so it's a good option for takeaway. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Many patrons had camped out with laptops and seemed to be using the bakery as an air conditioned respite/office.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Iced American is weak, I prefer a Dark Roast, This Coffee has no kick. Leaves you wanting to get a coffee afterwards, [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice Space, special pastries, excellent blended fruit and veggie juice blends[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but if it's a wake-up coffee you want,, this isn't the place.

Had a fantastic chocolate present butter brownie, so many choices. Not enough stomach space Been past it before but always full from dinner, but not this time. Pros: Outstanding choices, Open late for a bakery

One of the best vegan bakeries I've ever been to!! The team here is always super friendly and kind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I appreciate the atmosphere; there's a variety of inclusive seating options and you don't have to purchase anything to be in the space if you're waiting on a reservation at Garden Grille.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is DELICIOUS. The cakes are always so moist, the brownies are perfect, and the cupcakes travel well if you want to bring a little treat home for later.

After sampling the delights that Providence has to offer I came across something truly tasty and diabolical. Let me introduce you all to the "blueberry pancake whoopie pie". Absolutely sinful! The inside frosting is whipped fruit and mingled with a natural fruit coloring on a pastry sized pancake with real fruit and locally grown vegan ingredients. Oh, my yummy. : )

Such a unique vegan spot! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe is clean and staff is friendly and quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior itself has plenty of indoor seating and a warm earthy atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was shocked they were open so late and stumbled upon this cafe past 8pm on a Friday night. It was just what I needed! I was feeling under the weather so got the Feel Better Speciality Juice which has lemon, ginger, cayenne in it. It was refreshing and had a nice kick to it. They have a variety of vegan pastries and baked goods. I got the carrot cake and it was delicious.

    Local kombucha from Luluna
    Lauren C.

Wildflour is a real treasure. We heard about them on a kombucha journey (because they serve local kombucha from Luluna) and you could say we came for the kombucha and stayed for the incredible baked goods. The cranberry granola pumpkin seed scone was amazing. The focaccia was hefty and also a hit. I was seeking something free of seed oils/earth balance/coconut oil and was pleased to find that they had options for this: the double chocolate sea salt cookie (made with olive oil) and the peppermint chocolate cookie. I got the chocolate sea salt one and demolished it (delicious). They had full ingredient lists available and were patient and helpful when I explained which ingredients I was seeking to avoid. This is rare honestly and was a huge advantage as I'm trying to stick to the whole foods/plant-based diet. Thank you Wildflour! In addition to multiple flavors of Luluna kombucha, I also loved the homemade golden turmeric latte which they stated was made with fresh pressed ginger and turmeric juice. The coffee was also good. The staff were great, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun.

Are there soy free baked items?

Yes there are! We have recently replaced the soy in some of our baked goods with coconut.

Do they have vegan cakes (if so, do they bake Birthday cakes)?

Yes! They have beautiful cakes made daily on the bottom shelf of the bakery case. Might want to call ahead to place an order for a whole cake.

Conveniently, there is a 2 hour free parking garage to the right of the building which is where we parked, but there is also street parking. Downtown Pawtucket is sadly almost abandoned, but businesses like these give me hope that it can make a comeback. When we walked in, we saw signs pointing downstairs for Dissent, which helped us a lot to locate it. The actual store is small, with only 1-2 chairs in the corner and some high chairs along the counter, but there are also about 4-5 tables and chairs in the common area. The menu is perfect not too long, but lots of appealing and unique options with cool names. I ordered the pistachio 2.0 latte which has espresso, peruvian cacao + maple syrup, and pistachio milk. My mom ordered the masala chai. Both were ready in about 10 minutes. Like most coffee shops, they make the coffee right in front of you, which instills a lot of confidence. The pistachio latte had a very nice color and was very rich, creamy, slightly nutty, with a hint of mocha flavor which might've been the coffee. It reminded me of a liquid form of dubai chocolate but not nearly as sweet. The masal chai was also creamy and you could taste the spices. It's a very nice place to study, read, or hang out with friends.

I walked over for the first time - this coffee shop is on the lower floor of the Still on Main mall-like building, and you have to go down a flight of stairs to access it. I'm not sure if there is an easier, more handicap accessible way to get there. The Still on Main building seems partially under construction and has a musty smell to it - if you're a big antiquer, it might feel homey, but is a little offputting. Anyways, onto the actual Dissent review! I was delighted by the long list of caffeinated drink options as well as specials on the bar. I ordered the honey lavender latte drink - the name escapes me and I lost the menu photo, but I know it was very cute - which could be ordered either as a matcha latte or espresso latte. My co-worker got the matcha version and was absolutely in love with it! I ordered it as an espresso latte, and it came with bright blue foam on top. This didn't seem to match any of the ingredients on the menu, so I was a bit thrown off, even though it was fun (and changed the color of my tongue a la middle school fruit snacks, lol). I'm usually a big lavender flavor fan, but something about this leaned a little....soapy? to me? The recipes and barista seemed very authentic and educated in all things coffee, so I'll definitely be back, but was just a bit bummed that my first drink here wasn't my favorite thing ever. I'm not sure what it was, but the flavor was just a bit too 'cleaning supplies' esque for me. There are tables in the hallway to chill at if you need a nice spot nearby to hang out and sip on your beverage, or there are some chairs in the corner of the coffee shop and a couple bar stools. It's a small shop but seems to have some solid regulars and a dedicated barista. They have lots of milk alternative options, which is appreciated, and when I went in a group of 3, our drinks were made one by one with care, so allow some extra time to soak in the vibes if you go at a busy time or in a group. I'm really happy to have this option nearby and can't wait to try their summer specials (the strawberry drink comes to mind, although on the day I visited they were offering a watermelon one instead!)
