After learning about the benefits of cold pressed juice; getting a concentrated dose of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can support immune function, energy levels, and digestion, I decided to try their 3 day gentle cleanse. After signing up through their website and selecting a delivery date, the juices arrived at my door in an insulated bag. They recommend doing the gentle cleanse along with small amounts of food, which was a relief since I wasn't sure I could manage on juice alone. The bottles are reusable and can be retuned to the company for recycling. My favorite juice company! Local and organic. They are located in Pawtucket, RI but I always buy their products at local farmers market. I've gotten their juices from the Aquidneck Farmers Market in Newport and the Farm Fresh Farmers Market in Providence. Their glass bottles are 16oz and reusable! My favorite is their raw pressed Get Your Glow: Apple, beet, and lemon. So good! I also tried their Echinacea Sunrise: Orange, pineapple, cucumber, red beet, echinacea extract - also tasty! It's all 100% juice. Price point is a little over $10 for a 16oz bottle so can be pricey but it's fresh and so good! Their products are not pasteurized. There's not a ton of signage so if you pull into the mill and park all the way to the right it's not far. There is a green door on the right of building- walk until you see the yellow pillars and bang a left, it will be on the right. Super friendly, kind staff. Delicious fresh squeezed juices. Finally managed to stop in after tasting these incredible juices at various farmers markets. The space was a bit challenging to find (I went to the wrong side of this huge mill complex first) but beautiful inside. It's more of a small store front for folks who know what they're doing: refrigerator stocked with ready-made regular juices, kombucha and grab and go healthy breakfast/lunch items. The tasting bar is gorgeous with taps with different juices and even a specialty blend. There's a small and pretty retail space right at the entry with canvas bags, hats, that kind of stuff. I was a bit intimidated here! Young, fit looking people kept coming in with their bottles to refill or exchange; someone got a "power shot" too along with their regular juice. I'm interested in the whole juicing thing, but not really in a juice fast, and I'm not convinced that juicing saves lives - I just like the taste of these complex and layered juice blends. Tried everything in the taps and then bought a 12 ounce bottle of each one cause they were all so good and I couldn't pick a favorite! If I go back with my cute glass bottles I'll get $2 off at the next visit. Maybe then I'll be comfortable asking if I'm ruining the juicing benefits by just drinking the juice with my meals or when I'm thirsty instead of with a firmer "let's get healthy" kind of plan. read more
