Upbeat music, super friendly young staff and awesome visuals happening at Playa. Welcome to RI! My daughter alerted me of this place, only open for a week. We entered in and the vibe is great in here! Even though it's cold outside it made me feel like it was summer on the shore. Not a long wait although it was jammin inside. Lots of teens working and working hard. Matcha smoothie: lite on matcha but a sweet hint of berries with every sip. (Wish it was coconut!) Nutoloco bowl: smoothie yet crunchy. Lots of elements that all work together. Very tasy. I can't explain the base. It's like a lite ice cream that's not dairy creamy (if that makes sense.) I love the bits of the shaved coconut! But the granola crunch is a win too! We will be back!

The bowls are amazing! Not too fond of the smoothies but I think it's just cause I don't like coconut milk.. we've been there 3 times since we tried it a WEEK AGO. So obviously the bowls have us in a choke hold lol. definitely worth a shot if you haven't already!

Wow - this may have just become my favorite coffee! I ordered the Beach Bum - a summer seasonal latte with coconut, hazelnut and vanilla as an iced coffee and it was absolutely delicious. It earned a permanent spot in my cup holder for the drive home and I was already thinking about my next visit before I got there. The shop itself is cute and welcoming. I even had the chance to watch Scott Groome painting a new mural outside and it's going to look fantastic. The staff were friendly, patient and happy to answer my questions, which made the visit even better. My only complaint is that the menu changes a little too quickly. There were drinks I wanted to come back and try that were already gone! That's probably just another reason I'll have to keep stopping by. I'll definitely be back soon to finally get my own latte bucket!

The restaurant itself is cute! There some outdoor(ish) seating and a beautiful mural. Where you order is a spacious room with benches for waiting. They have menus on a counter if you're like me and can't see very well without glasses. The girls who served me were very kind and attentive. I ordered the frozen lemonade and the lion bagel sandwich. The lemonade was good- tasted like a powdered mix but wasn't unpleasant. The sandwich I thought was a little messy with the avocado and chipotle. A little on the gooey side. But I did love the crispy bacon and well cooked egg. The bagel was denser than I would have liked but did work well with the other ingredients. I'd definitely stop by the Coffee Cubby again in the future. This time I think I would just try a different order!

The staff always greets you when you walk in and they're consistently friendly. The only downfall I've noticed with ordering ahead is when I get something with cold foam. Sometimes the foam melts down by the time I get there, so it makes the drink look like it wasn't filled all the way. If I ask them to add more, I sometimes get a weird look, which is a little awkward. Other than that, it's Starbucks, so you pretty much know what you're getting. They fill the cups with ice, and unless you ask for less ice, you're obviously going to get less actual drink. That's pretty standard at any Starbucks. Overall, I've had a good experience at this location and will continue coming here.

What is it with Rhode Island and its incredible independent coffee houses?…read moreUp in Lincoln is Fundati -- A Coffee Experience, and what a gem. It's a cute, welcoming shop with genuinely nice staff and a lot of personality. I had a fantastic cold brew topped with maple cold foam, along with The Hot One -- egg, cheese, hot honey butter and chorizo on a locally made bolo. The bolo was incredible: beautifully toasted on the outside, soft inside, with that wonderful hot honey butter playing against the spicy chorizo, egg and melted cheese. Absolutely scrumptious. You can tell there's a lot of love here -- in the food, in the coffee, and in the shop itself. Fundati is another reminder of just how lucky Rhode Island is to have so many terrific independent coffee houses. What a gem!

First, I like the big tall windows and the patio area outside which I assume is very popular during warmer months. Second, I was captivated by the different cold brew drip towers they have going. They have a lot of unique drink flavors to choose from, of which I picked the honey lavender latte. At first I thought it was a little too sweet, but it grew on me by the second sip. I could actually taste both the lavender and the honey. The size was just right and the prices are also average. I stayed a little reading a book and found that is it a peaceful environment even though some people were studying and others were playing board games. I would come back to try other items. The staff was very friendly.

My hairdresser told me about this place years back and l am so sad I didn't listen to her sooner…read more There are two locations, both are kind of in the same area of Rhode Island which made it hard to decide on which one to go to. I ended up going twice in the same week to the one in Smithfield, but l am curious to see if quality changes from one location to the other. Anyways, they have a good selection of flavors including: sesame, the works, jalapeno cheddar, three cheese, pepperoni and cheddar, plain, cinnamon sugar, and from what I have seen online, they do offer seasonal flavors which I am very excited for. Each one cost $1.50, or you could get half a dozen for $7.00 and a baker's dozen (13) for $14.00 which is one of the best deals around. The first time I went, I bought a dozen since / was taking them to a brunch and the second time I ordered half a dozen. One thing that immediately sets them apart from other bagel shops I've been to is their attention to detail which I am huge on. When I purchased the dozen, I requested one cinnamon sugar and they wrapped it in parchment paper so the sweetness wouldn't get on any of the other bagels. So far, I have only tasted the jalapeno cheddar and the everything bagel. I love that they're loaded with flavor, the bread is soft, not airy but also doesn't feel too dense, it is not dry, and the dough is slightly elastic-y which I love. I think a good way to measure how good a bagel is is to eat it without toasting it. This one passed with flying colors. The first time I came, l was a little confused as to where this place was because the GPS led me to the back of the building but did find my way after driving around the building. The second time I came here, 1 realized they have a drive-thru window which is very convenient. There were about 4 cars ahead of me, but within 5 minutes I was on my way home. I would highly recommend coming here!
