Recently took my friend here and she loved it. She had the blueberry cheesecake. Every flavor I've had here is amazing: highly recommend the southern peach, strawberry cheesecake, cherry amaretto and coconut brownie cheesecake. They have a small inside area to sit and there's 2 picnic tables outside as well. The parking lot is small but many park on the side parking lot which Prbly doesn't belong to the ice cream shop lol or along the sidewalk.

However, the customer service during our most recent visit, which was our first visit of the season, was surprisingly rude, which leaves me wondering if something at Sundaes has changed, hence the two star review. We brought a group of 12 here on Friday night, 5/15/26 at about 7:15 and the employee who took our orders was polite and wrote everything down. We paid for our order all together. It wasn;t very busy when we arrived, but it took quite a while, nearly 10 minutes, for us to receive the first of the 12 ice creams, and then the rest of the order came out little by little. By the time we left, there was a line of about a dozen people. When my ice cream was ready, it didn't have the sprinkles I had ordered. I asked if sprinkles could be put on, and rather than simply adding sprinkles, the employee (manager?), went and checked the paper order, stated that sprinkles weren't written down and that she would have to charge me for the sprinkles. I asked about it again, citing our order was large ($88), and couldn't they just put the sprinkles on that they forgot to include. She replied repeatedly stating that doing that would be against company policy. Hmmmm....... Really? If that's the case, Sundae's policy is pretty poor. This exchange of words left me with a very bad feeling, but as I was with a large group including several kids, I didn't press it any further. Why in the world would a company refuse something that costs pennies to the business, instead making the customer go through the trouble of cashing out again, especially when it was the business' mistake? More ice creams from our order continued to come out at a very slow pace. One ice cream was made with the wrong flavors, and one was forgotten and by the time we received it, most of the other people in our party had already finished eating. At some point as we waited for our ice creams the "manager" called out to me to ask if I wanted rainbow or chocolate sprinkles (I guess the company policy had changed?), but at that point it was too late, she had already set the tone. While the ice cream at Sundaes is fine, I would strongly suggest that the owner of this business provide training to their staff on customer service, and how refusing to honor a request for forgotten sprinkles without incurring a new charge can lose a customer (or in our case a large group of customers) for a long time. Also, the wait time needs to be speeded up. Maybe more staff is needed? With so many other ice cream places within a short drive of Sundae's. I doubt that we'll be back given our most recent experience here. Moose Trackers in Scituate, Gigi's Scoops in Smithfield, or The Parlor Creamery in Cranston are all great places and will get our business the next time our group goes out for ice cream.

I've been dying to try this ice cream shop ever since hearing that they offer the rare Ube flavor…read moreof ice cream - one of my favorites and so hard to find! They were finally open on a Wednesday when I was in the area - really appreciating their new extended summer hours - so some friends and I walked over. This is located in an easily walkable part of the city where street parking is pretty doable, so it's a great stop to work in to a friend hang or date night since it's near breweries and restaurants. I had my heart set on the Ube, but the other flavors were awfully tempting - I'm dying to come back for the Fruity Pebbles taco and/or ice cream sandwich ASAP! I ordered the Ube ice cream sandwich, which came on coconut cookies, was dipped in white chocolate, and covered with coconut flakes, for $6.50. The ice cream color was bright purple as Ube often is, and the cookies were soft and perfectly melt in your mouth despite being frozen. I was advised by the owner to let it sit for a few minutes before eating as they start out very cold. I could only stand to wait a few minutes before diving in, which ended up being a fine amount of time. The flavors were decadent, the Ube was so sweet and indulgent, like an extreme vanilla as I always describe it, but with a root/woodsy note to it that's hard to explain. I was totally in heaven while eating this! My friends loved their options: Thai iced tea sandwich, Fruity Pebbles sandwich, and Banana sandwich. The pistachio sandwich was reportedly a little too mild for some tastes. My friend got their limited edition ** corn and blueberry!!** flavor sandwich - WHAT!? So unique! I had to steal a bite and was pleasantly surprised - I didn't get blueberry in my bite, but it was like frozen corn chowder - not savory, but still a distinctly 'corn' flavor, not corn flakes, but true, actual, corn. The cookies were thin and square shaped and seemed like a cross between cornbread and a sugar cookie, although I'm not exactly sure what it was. I'd go back here to try more things in a heartbeat, and the amazing and large plants on display in this little shop give such a fresh, unique, and fun vibe. There are some small tables to eat at while you're here which came in handy for us, and the owner even let us hang out a few minutes past close, stating he'd be there anyways cleaning, so we didn't have to go wait outside in the rain - so sweet on all levels!

Plenty of indoor seating, loved that the worker at checkout handed us the ipad to make our scrolling experience / choosing what we wanted so much easier. And all the aesop hand sanitizer? Obsessed What incredible flavors / flavor combos! I got the Sweet summer corn & blueberry blondie bar and WHEWWW I was blown away. So flavorful- and these things are HUGE! For only $7 too? So worth it. We will absolutely be returning as it seems they have flavor drops weekly

The dough was soft to bite into and crispy outside. Coated well in cinnamon sugar). What I actually came for was the candy coated pineapple rings and grapes.. omg I didn't even make it home with these. I popped open the container at a red light and they were so good!! They are frozen, candy coating crunch to them and satisfied my cravings. If they had more of these varieties I'd try each one. When I first went in, the owner (I believe) was very nice and welcoming. She greeted everyone who came in and smiled. It's also very clean and well kept inside. Can't wait to try their other offerings. I didn't actually eat anything but I did purchase and the ambiance and experience as a whole was great because the owner was probably the most engaging person I met in RI that weekend. I was told by the consumer of the product that I purchased that it was "so good. I mean so good. This is so good. You should've gotten one." that I figured I'd write about my experience and sprinkle her's in there. Speaking of which. Sprinkles or Jimmies. What do you call them?
