Not only that, the cost/value is the best I've seen. Maybe I should do more investigative work as to where their ice cream comes from, but I really enjoyed it. Location is not ideal, but the parking was easy. The night we visited was chilly enough that my friend and I ate the ice cream inside my car, but on a sunny warm day, that outdoor seating is great. They had a small but reasonable amount of flavors...not so many that it was overwhelming, but enough that I couldn't decide on just one. The person scooping our ice cream was really sweet, and I wasn't sure if she could offer samples (since it's through a window and not at a counter), but she did. I tried the rum raisin and the black raspberry. I'm super picky about my black raspberry, and this is the first one I've really enjoyed outside of the Lincoln Creamery. She was able to split a small into two scoops, so I got one scoop of rum raisin and black raspberry, and I loved it. My friend got the campfire s'mores flavor. It was SO sweet. I could see a younger palate going nuts for it, but I was happy with my pick! I would definitely come back.

There is a large area of benches and tables for sitting. The flavors are listed on a board and are easy to read. The only signage of ice cream is within the shop hidden on a back wall. Country Side Creamery uses Bliss ice cream, which I'll be honest, is not my favorite. The service was okay. The girl scooper did not look pleased to be working on a Friday night. I chose Campfire S'mores and the boyfriend chose Brownie Batter. The ice cream was okay.

I got a small vanilla soft serve ice cream with extra sprinkles and she understood the assignment. Extra sprinkles did I get and was so excited. For some reason a lot of other companies charge you extra when you ask for extra sprinkles and barely put any, not here they aren't shy. The customer service was excellent, and luckily we got there right before the line started, but they move very quickly. They do have indoor and outdoor seating we sat outside and enjoyed our ice cream on the benches. My boyfriend got a 2 scoop of strawberry hard ice cream and he said it was very good, better than the last place we went which I won't name. We will be back. Reasonable prices and they aren't shy with the ice cream. yum!

We sat at the bar and were very happy with our seats. They have a decent selection of wines and an extensive martini list. I got the tenderloin tip special that came with a mushroom demi glaze, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The portion size was large and the tips came out cooked medium. I ordered them medium rare so next time I will order them medium rare +. The grilled feta salad was fantastic. It was made with 2 kinds of whole olives with the pits in them, 2 large pieces of feta, and the tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers and lettuce were very fresh and ripe. I really liked the salad dressing (vinaigrette type). The oversized stuffy was ok, but I wouldn't get it again. Maybe I got a dud out of the batch? The stuffing was good, but it was nothing more than celery and onion. Unfortunately, there were no clams or seafood in the stuffy. For $8, I wish I went to Dave's Market for 2 stuffies.

We had dinner, yesterday, at Fresco on Comstock Pkwy in Cranston. It was spectacular, in every way!…read more The ambiance is lovely - very classy and not noisy (thankfully)! The waitstaff is top-notch! I like that every race and ethnicity is represented in their waitstaff!!!!! Everyone was friendly, welcoming, polite and professional. We started with their delicious crispy yet soft bread and yummy dip. Then, we had an eggplant appetizer with delicious chunks of tomato. My dinner companion enjoyed the Bolognese pasta dish, and I loved every morsel of the short rib tagliatelle! For dessert we enjoyed the salted caramel gelato and the bomba spumoni. Everything we tasted was perfect! I have not enjoyed dining at the other two Fresco restaurants, in East Greenwich or, especially the lousy one in West Warwick (too noisy, cramped and lousy, unfriendly service). But, I am so glad I gave Fresco, in Cranston, a try! I will berating, with more friends!

We arrived shortly after open and weren't sure what to expect. They were out of a few things, and the menu apparently has changed lately, but we settled on a margaritas for me, nachos to share, shrimp mofongo, and a shrimp burrito. The margarita was okay but they didn't have coarse margarita salt so it was rimmed with table salt. The nachos were perfect. Every chip had toppings, and the chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My shrimp burrito was very good and my husband enjoyed his mofongo. I'd come back and try some new things but also order the nachos as my entree. Great local spot!
