I stopped in right before closing today. I took both my items to travel. I appreciated their gratitude at my stopping in despite the fact they were ready to close within the next 10 minutes. They were both very gracious. Tried the "Honey's crunch" iced latte at the owners' recommendation. They said it was popular and not overly sweet. It was a little too sweet for me, however. Guava cinnamon bun -- this will be warmed per their recommendation and tried tomorrow morning. Again, it was a little too sweet but a generous portion and made with sourdough. I'm a fan of that. Great customer service! The couple/owners were warm, welcoming, kind, and helpful. Cute interior location -- in the plaza adjacent to the Shaw's Plaza. It was a little hard to find even with my GPS, as the sign is quite small and blends in with the storefront - being white. Happy to add it as another small biz spot to visit when in the east bay! read more

I stopped into Honey's Cafe for the first time as part of RI Food Fight's July Coffee Challenge and really enjoyed the experience overall. The café was clean, the staff were friendly and I love the concept of their signature canned iced coffees - it's a fun idea that makes them stand out. There were 4 options to chose from and I ordered the Banana Coffee (iced coffee with banana and milk), and it was absolutely delicious. My only critique was the wait time. Although the café was busy and we were told it would be about five minutes, it ended up being closer to twenty. The drink was worth the wait, but I hope service is a little quicker on my next visit. I'd definitely come back for another Banana Coffee! read more

This place was very busy when I went, however, in all fairness, it was a Saturday. The wait time for the food and drinks was pretty long, they do online orders as well, but just expect a wait when you go in person on a weekend. This café has its own parking, but the sign for the building is pretty small so make sure you keep your eyes open! The atmosphere was pretty simple and cute. I really liked the leather chairs they had, very comfortable. The staff was also very nice and seemed to work well under the pressure of the busyness. The croffle was delicioussss! It was a croissant waffle mix with egg tomato and avocado spread and let me tell you it hit the spot. Very creative to put a croissant and waffle together like that. The drinks also met my expectations. I was very attracted to this place by seeing advertisements of its iced beverages in a tall sealed can. Very aesthetic and unique of them. I am not a Matcha fan, but my daughter loved her strawberry Matcha. I will definitely come back here and try different drinks that they have. Highly recommend for a coffee date with a friend or even with your significant other or child.! read more

I learned about this shop through RI Food Fights! I think it's a newer shop. I think they need a bigger sign on their shop and a sign at the entrance of the plaza. My GPS told me I arrived but I didn't see their sign at first. The young girl working recommended I get the banana iced coffee because they make the syrup in house. I did mine with oat milk and no cold foam. The banana syrup is good. I also got a piece of blueberry lemon pound cake. It was good. Some of their pastries were labeled but not all and I didn't see prices on pastries. They had a sign at the front with some breakfast offerings, they sounded good. I'd definitely come back for another coffee and breakfast! The shop is cute and clean. My wait time was reasonable for the coffees! read more

Our first visit to Honey's was great. The employees here are some of the sweetest and most helpful people I've encountered anywhere and the cafe is cute and clean. Ordered a Dulce de Leche iced coffee and a Dubai chocolate croissant and both were outstanding. We enjoyed our food in the cafe and it is a great environment for chatting with a friend or for working. read more

First time in was for best iced coffee RI. They had four choices to pick from which was nice! I liked my friends better---she got the banana one and that was really good. Mine was lacking something. I would order the banana one next time! The shop wasn't super busy, but it took 20 minutes for our drinks. For two iced coffees, I felt like that was a lot, especially after we were told, "just give me like 5 minutes." 5 and 20 are very different. Hopefully if I come back, it would be faster! read more

Gem of a cafe in RI. I almost completely missed it because the sign is so small, but it was right at the start of the plaza. Drinks -Tried one of the few options they had for the Coffee Passport in July and it was 10/10 one of the best iced lattes I've had (it had cinnamon and sweetened condensed milk). I also appreciate that they had a predetermined menu of lattes instead of a regular brewed coffee for the coffee passport option. Service - great service, very friendly staff Ambiance - plenty of seating for a casual meetup or a place to get some work done Will be back! read more

Love the aesthetic of this cafe! The furniture and artwork is so cute. You can get your drink served in a sealed can which I think is so original and sets them apart. Me and my partner got a pistachio latte in a can to split and it was so delicious. I got a ham and cheese and my partner got a turkey and cheese. Both sandwiches were delicious. Would absolutely recommend and will be back ASAP. There are so many drinks I want to try. My only complaint is they seemed to have items that weren't on their main menu that I either saw people order or saw here on yelp (refreshers for example). read more

This is a newer spot. Location is good, but hard to see the sign in the plaza, as it's surrounded by a bunch of other businesses. Parking is shared. Seating is size friendly, and there are a few tables inside to sit at. Sandwich was literally just ham or turkey and cheese, nothing else, and you get a handful of chips with it. Drinks were okay. I got the raspberry matcha, I was hoping that it would be muddle raspberries, but it was just the syrup. Maybe one of their specialty drinks would've been a better option. They have pastries, but they aren't labeled Staff very welcoming and attentive. They are also bilingual, I believe, which is a plus. They are new, so you have to give them grace, I'd go back after awhile to review again. read more

Place was busy at noon on a Saturday but the team handled the lunch rush extremely well there was no extra wait. The food was great and there are a bunch of unique items to choose from that you wouldn't find at other cafes. The coffee was great, and you can customize it to your liking. Very reasonably priced for the size too, and I had to get the canned size to go, super unique! The story posted on the wall is worth a read and further emphasizes this cafe means the world to the owners. Wishing great health to honey! read more

Discovered this local gem during the RI Food Fights coffee competition. Very cute and comfy esthetic. A couple larger tables fit big groups, several leather padded chairs and smaller tables, some high-top tables. Art is bee / honey themed. Their story is also cute and on the wall. Music is soft and in the background allowing for easy conversation. Service is very friendly - cashier knew ASL and was able to easily serve and have a conversation with 2 customers, kept customers updated with when their order would be ready, and was very pleasant to be around. Getting your order is not fast, but everything is artfully created and plated. Be prepared to sit down for a few minutes while you wait. Sweets and food are good. Coffee is creative and very good. Fairly wide selection of coffee flavors. We will be back. read more

It's a good, new place and a very welcome addition to the plaza here on the Riverside/Barrington line. A good cafe was very much missing from this area and this definitely fills a void that was there for a very long time. It's in the same place as a liquor store, Subway, Dominos, nail place, salons, and little personal trainer type gym. It's a family owned spot. So far we've had their muffins, mini pancakes with fruit, waffles, a few different coffee drinks. They make everything there in house from scratch. The muffins are really awesome, $3 each, and a good size. The lemon corn muffin is great. The mini pancakes and the waffles are good. Not a huge amount of food for the price, but definitely a nice treat, and these are both great for sharing amongst a couple kids. I had the smores latte 3 times so far, and love it in all the forms it comes in. The to go version is a pretty standard toasted marshmallow flavored latte, and they stab a toothpick in the cup cover with a toasted marshmallow stuck in it. It's awesome. The for there hot version is great, a little too much chocolate syrup, a little overpowered, but a nice treat, and the caffeine was stronger than expected based on the taste. It's a little pricey I think for what it is, but again, it's a really great and much needed addition to the plaza, is independent, and can use all of our support so they last longer than a few months. read more

I never usually write reviews but hon this place needed it! drove a half hour to honey's absolutely amazing! seems to be family owned which everyone was super sweet and working super hard! the coffee was amazing taste was so good! the espresso was done perfectly and didn't taste burnt like some lattes do and a bonus is you can get it in a can! 100/100 recommend the cans are so smart to have absolutely loved the atmosphere. the nutella croissant was super fresh. they make mini pancakes! take the drive and go! read more
