We finally decided on a butter croissant stuffed with custard and fresh strawberries and it was amazing. The cafe is clean, bright, and beautiful with small tables and chairs lining the large windows, and they have outdoor tables as well. For coffee, we both got iced, and I had mocha and milk in mine. There was lots of parking available, but some of it is dedicated to the neighboring business so we parked a little further. The inside is big with lots of seating options, both high and low top. We wanted one of each drink from their fall menu but ultimately had to narrow it down to two: caramel apple butter cold brew and pumpkin horchata cortado (iced). The pumpkin horchata cortado just comes in one size and I think it was 12 oz. We got the caramel apple butter cold brew in a medium. We also ordered a corn muffin, buttered and toasted. While we waited, we secured high chairs along the wall facing the parking lot/ street. After a couple minutes, my name was called to collect my order. The pumpkin horchata cortado tasted darker than I expected, and I wish it had a stronger pumpkin flavor. The caramel apple butter cold brew was delicious and creamy. It did taste like apple pie a bit. In hindsight, I would've asked for it to be made less sweet, but that's just a preference thing. The corn muffin was tasty. It was warm, sweet, not dry, and had the signature grainy texture throughout. I think the total came out to about $16-$17 which is standard. The staff was friendly and answered my little questions about the drinks. I like that they open early and close late (for a coffee shop). I enjoyed the art on the walls, the plants, and the corny poems and signs.

It moved at a reasonable rate, so totally doable. The queer o meter is a perfect 10. The mix of clientele lays out a level playing field for all. Most excellent. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The menu is pretty good, more than what I was expecting. It's basically various things you can put on a panini maker ha ha. Actually, what you can successfully put on a panini maker! I got the linguica egg and Swiss on an everything bagel. Again much better than I was expecting. The bagel Isn't "gourmet" but it was a nice density and flavor. It also was a good type to withstand the panini press. The egg was clearly freshly fried too, thanks for that. Precooked zapped eggs are awful. We got an Americano, an iced Samoa and a protein bowl. The Samoa was mine and very tasty. Next time I'd ask for a weeee less chocolate because it was ahead little too sweet. But that's not the fault of the place, just personal preference. By 11:45am the place had cleared out to a comfortable maneuverable space. And some guy at the bar was drinking a beer. Which brings me to the final phase of my review. They close at 5pm and open again at 6pm for lounge vibe times and a late-night menu, which I have not tried or dove into. Also Pro Tip! See my pics for how to enter and not get stuck in the drive thru lane. Enter on Hobson Ave and take a right into the lot (where the parked car is showing in pic) and park wherever you can.
