The hype is real! Service, exceptional. Had to wait for a table but unlike many restaurants around here they will take your number and text you when your table is ready. This is a great service because it means you don't have to loiter around the front door waiting 30 mins for a table and can enjoy the great outdoor scenery while you wait. Our servers were exceptional. My hot water was never not full, the boys Diet Pepsi was never not full. The servers were attentive, food was fast, they didn't rush us. Everything was perfect. The food, you guys!! The calamari was SO GOOD. I love their sweet/sour dressing on it and the calamari itself melted in your mouth. The boy and I both got the haddock fish and chips and WOW. I love haddock, the breading was light and crispy, the tartar sauce was tangy and yummy, the coleslaw was different than you normally see and I LOVED it. It was lighter and less mayonnaisey, now I love mayonnaise so it is huge that I'm complimenting less mayonnaisey coleslaw. All in all, a very big 5/5 for this place. Would definitely recommend for small or big parties (they have big tables that could fit a whole crew), AND they even have some sports on which was nice for the boy. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed the food here. I had the clam chowder and it was good (I wouldn't say the best but it was good) there were more potatoes than clams in it but overall good. It was not burning hot (which I prefer to warm myself up) it was just a little bit hot to be eaten right away. I got the salmon teriyaki with a side of rice Ana veggies and it was good. Very flavorful and so good. Finished the whole thing. My husband got the lobster roll and side of fries. Fries were crispy and good. Lobster roll was good as well. read more

GEDDY'S MADE OUR TRIP COMPLETE!! We had a wonderful meal with a fantastic service. The atmosphere and family feeling was tops! We would recommend Geddy's to anyone wanting the BEST seafood in Bar Harbor! read more

Geddy's was our first dinner in Bar Harbor and it didn't disappoint. Everyone's food was great - highly recommend the calamari, lobster roll, poke bowl, blueberry pie, whoopie pie dessert and the chocolate dessert. read more

After some Yelp research, I decided this was the place for me to get my lobster roll after a day in Acadia. They were quite busy by the time we got there, but there wasn't a wait. After sitting down, I was overwhelmed by just how many seafood options they had. I almost had to order a couple of different things, but I ultimately stuck to their lobster roll and it was truly the stuff of dreams and the portion size of everything was spot on. They focused on local beer options and both beers I tried were wonderful. I would highly, highly recommend this spot if you're in the area. read more

It was Ok. Definitely nothing to write home about, truly feel it is way overpriced for the quality and portions. Would be a 2 star if not for the blueberry pie which was a 10/10. Wouldn't come back here though read more

Great food, robust selection of gluten free which is practically unheard of in a smaller town. This place was by far our favorite restaurant on bar harbor. One of the highlights of our honeymoon read more

Amazing gf options. The fish and chips, oysters and pizza were amazing. Key lime martini is the best drink in Bar Harbor. Geddy's gets multiple visits each time we are in Bar Harbor. Thank you Geddy's for doing it all right! read more

At a glance, this seemed like a good pick. My husband had the seared haddock and was pleased. I had the fish and chips and it was awful. I received a spiraled filet of chewy, boney, hard to chew haddock. Gross. It was twisted and nasty...not even the tartar sauce helped. My son had the meat pizza, ate two slices and was done. It was undercooked and mushy. The only highlight for me was the clam chowder. It was very good. It was not worth the $85 pricetag for sure! read more

Anna at the bar made our experience today amazing. That woman works her butt off. I hope ya'll are paying her well because she is an absolute asset to your establishment. Not only was she polite and prompt but she had great recommendations. Lobster pizza was bomb. Had the Bar Island iced tea and it was perfectly refreshing and not too sweet. Atmosphere is fun. Oyster were fresh. Hot sauce was HOT but very good. Will absolutely pop in again next visit to Bar Harbor. read more

On a Canada/New England cruise so have tried lobster rolls a couple of times on this trip. This was by far the best. The Mini Lobster Bake is the best of all worlds: clam chowder, lobster roll and blueberries. Service was great, food arrived quickly and was tasty. Love the vibe here too. Too bad our shore time is so short or I would hit this place again. read more

Good times and great food. Hubby and I sat at the bar right away. I ordered the lobster mini and he got the hot lobster roll. The food was tasty and portion sizes were perfect. Our bartender took good care of us. While the lobster is a little spendy and doesn't compare to our favorite (Dead Eye Dick's), we were very satisfied read more

Definitely a tourist trap, but a delicious one. They had a lunch special with a lobster roll, clam chowder, and a blueberry pie tart. All delicious, and reasonably priced. The blueberry pie was the clear winner of the meal, with a crispy, flaky dough and sweet blueberries. There is a gift shop underneath the restaurant as well with cute touristy treasures. read more

Giving it a 4 because we were seated with a gorgeous harbor view. My husband liked his Shrimp Scallop Garlicky Scampi. He wanted a Sam Adams beer which they don't carry but like the Moose Breath beer that was recommended . I tried Poutine for the first time. It was good. Didn't really like the Caprese salad i got. Service was good. read more

Back in town after many years, children older this time. We were able to make reservations and very glad we did. High energy and lots of people. Fun environment, prompt and friendly service. And of course the food! Nice beer and wine selection. 3 of us got lobster roles and they did not disappoint! Blueberry pie excellent ending. read more

A nice spot, but I was not a fan of the substantial amount of corn on the lobster roll! I guess the menu warns you...

Tourist trap. But if that's your thing, go for it. The food was good not great. I'd probably go buy a lobster at hannafords and cook it myself for 1/2 the price though. read more

This place is great for big groups who don't want to pay a lot. There was a huge wait, but they seated four of us at the bar right away anyways. This is a very social bar because we ended up talking to the people around us and it was a great time. read more

Came here for a quick lunch after a hike. Wait staff is very friendly. Place is cute, very touristy. Nice location near the water. Food is fine, but not great. Mini Lobster Bake is good size for the value, but a little heavy on the mayo. The homemade cranberry pepper ketchup was hard to differentiate from regular ketchup. Mini tart was good. Fish sandwich was good. read more

Too Expensive but the food and service was decent. I will try another place if I go back to bar harbor. To clarify for Arthur, I do realize that the prices are comparable and it's a tourist spot so everything is high. 4 Star food and service, 3 Star price. read more

This was a decent restaurant we eat at one night for dinner. I got the shrimp scampi which was good. I appreciated the social distancing efforts and was nervous when we always saw a line and wondered about keeping enough space away from others. We were at a table inside (no outdoor seating) and we didn't have any other diners within 10 feet of us read more

Good service. Generous portions and some of the better food in Bar Harbor. This was the first place where everything wasn't bland, except for the lobster stew. It had fresh lobster in it and was definitely lighter and brothy rather than thick. The lobster roll was delicious as well as the fish and chips. The haddock has a very fresh taste to it and was crispy and flaky. The pizza was also good. It had a good sauce and crispy crust. The clam chowder was really good and creamy. Lots of clams. Good drink selections as well. read more

Pub like Ambience. Post Labor Day, they were busy. Got seated after 10 min wait on high chairs( which I like). Was craving for a nice veg meal after eating salad for lunch. Their Quinoa, sweet potato bowl was simply amazing. Needed their hot sauce to spice it up to my liking. GF had Ahi Tuna bowl which she said very good. Their Martini and Cosmo was full pour and very well made. Had to suck up 2 sips before it was placed on the table as it was at its brim and spilling. Enjoyed my drink, food and service! read more

GLUTEN FREE HEAVEN! Nearly everything on their menu can be made gluten free, including sandwiches, pizza, and fried fish. The gluten free fried clams were incredible!! They also have a great drink menu with local brews and fun cocktails (shout-out to the blueberry mojito). The also have a delicious homemade tartar sauce, and an amazing spicy cranberry ketchup! Lobster roll was great! Fish tasted fresh but was a bit dry. Good ambiance and amazing service.

During our vacation beginning of July, we made a stop at Geddy's. It was my second lobster roll place, restaurant + bar. We liked sitting at the bar. AIso I really liked the decoration of the place and the staff was nice with us. We had good local beers on tap and obviously lobster rolls. They were good but the fries with them could have been better. We shared a very good cheesecake. Also the location was nice, next to the port and they had free wifi. It was a good quality/price deal. I would recommend if you are in Bar Harbor. read more

Our group of four was seated immediately. We were asked to wear face coverings if we moved around the restaurant. Seating was every other table. The Atlantic Seafood Pie was pretty darn good! I would suggest a little more rice and vegetables would have made it perfect as the pie can get a bit overbearing towards the end. We also had the lobster and scallops scampi- was on the money! Moscow mules, the martini and the Bat Harbor Iced Tea were awesome. The mule was especially tangy. The Iced Tea, I believe, snuck up on me. ....nicely done Geddy's, nicely done! read more

Went home after 20 years and made my way to Bar Harbor for a visit, after wandering around town a bit we were getting hungry so we stopped at Geddy's.
