Here we are having some dinner before heading back to Camden for the night.. Kris ordered the fish n chips supposedly a specialty & I ordered lobster stew. The best lobster stew I've ever had. Every chunk of lobster melted in my mouth. The broth was a very rich cream. FYI: I'm stuffed to the gills, I couldn't even eat the luscious blueberry pie that I really wanted but I'm a good doobie & held back. Our waitress was excellent her name was Ada

We are a big group of 33 but Gedd'ys was able to accommodate us all. Food was great! Nice lobster roll and salad. Drink was a nice Pinot noir. Good place to hang out at the end of a rainy day in Acadia

Put a visit to this Bar Harbor institution on your 'must do' list! Fun cocktail menu (I had the Bar Harbor Ice Tea), fabulous local oysters, and the mini Lobster Bake which for me was Maine on a plate. My boyfriend had the Atlantic Fish Pie - a very memorable dish filled with haddock, scallops, lobster, and crab - total deliciousness! DJ was our server and was fantastic!

Hate I couldn't give more stars, food was awesome, server (Brittney) was totally awesome, location smelled good, looked good, tastefully redecorated. Best meal we have had.

Delicious! We came after a long hike in Acadia. It gets busy, but we went in April so there wasn't a long wait. The inside was so fun with all the antique signs. So many gluten free options, we loved it here. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Few Bar harbor locals suggested this place for a lobster dinner, so I decided to check out one. I tried their Cap n Geddy's lobster bake special which came with Lobster, Clam chowder, corn & classic Maine blueberry pie. Lobster (served hot) was okay not great or wowwww in my opinion for how much it costs. I have tried lobster before. (Just for a record here). I really liked their clam chowder and blueberry pie. About ambiance, this place is packed every day. It was busy on a weekday night can't think about how busy it can get during a weekend. Haha Staff (Ann Marie) was nice & has very good suggestions!

Stopped here on a cruise and ChatGPT told us this was the best place to go for lobster. We just had a lobster roll at our previous stop so opted for something different and tried their lobster pizza, homemade, fresh crust...delicious! It was light, refreshing and cooked to perfection. We sat at the bar, it was a tight restaurant so not a lot of room to walk to tables or bathroom but have you a cozy east coast vibe with their decor. Our server did a phenomenal job at taking orders, making all the drinks and just being a pleasant person - even with all the tourists asking her a million questions. Glad we stopped

Colby was a great server and provided excellent service. Cool restaurant near the end of Main Street close to the shore. Large bar area and eclectic decor. My husband and I shared the sweet refreshing blueberry lemonade, half a dozen fresh oysters, steamed mussels and their jalapeño bacon lobster roll. It was a tasty satisfying meal after spending the morning walking and shopping. Be sure to stop by their gift shop downstairs for souvenirs!

Food was yummy. the blood mary's are to die for! the bartender was attentive and the place is lively.

We visited Geddy's during our trip to Bar Harbor since it was on our must-try list, and overall, it didn't disappoint. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed with a great view of the water. Food wise, things leaned on the pricier side. I ordered the mini lobster bake and the unexpected star of the plate was the blueberry cream cheese tart, absolutely delicious! The lobster roll and clam chowder also hit the spot and were solid choices. If I had one critique, it would be the portion sizes, they were very small for the price, which was a bit of a letdown as I was still hungry after my meal. That said, the overall experience was still enjoyable.

After a day in Acadia National Park we stopped in Bar Harbor for the night and I couldn't have been happier. We ate like kings and queens. From curry mussels to seafood pie to full on lobster dinner with the chowder too and of course blueberry pie. Everything was so fresh and so amazing. The staff was perfect and friendly. Even the drinks were awesome and gave good party vibes. There's a lot of great places to eat Bar Harbor esp if you're wanting fresh east coast seafood but you won't be disappointed picking Geddys even if you have to wait.

Make reservations so you don't have to wait. I'd looked a few hours ahead and they had same day reservations but I didn't book. When we showed up it was an hour wait, we ended up grabbing a seat at the bar. I did the lobster bake, I'm not really a lobster expert but my tail was chewy - I think it was overcooked - I should have send it back. The claws were good, as was the corn and chowder. The blueberry pie was ok, I was surprised it wasn't sweeter, crust could have been a lot more buttery and flakey. Service was so so, bartender was pretty busy working on well drinks and hard to get his attention. Cool atmosphere inside.

No trip to Maine would be complete without trying the lobsters. We came on a weekday night and waited about 30 minutes before getting seated. We ordered the Cap'n Geddy's Lobster Bake, which came with 1-1.25 lbs of whole Maine lobster, a cup of New England clam chowder, corn on the cob and blueberry pie. The lobster was very fresh and I especially loved the blueberry pie at the end. They also provide you with a lobster bib that you can wear while eating if you'd like.

Fancy pants presentation and all things considered some of the best crab cakes we had on our trip. Bartender was really friendly and was super proud of their whiskey/bourbon collection. He did point out a few bottles to us that were really quite special and hard to come across. They had some Penelope variants that were unseen to me. I would come back in a heartbeat. We were originally only going to order some small plates , but the one entree with fried chicken looked like something my husband would really like. Cocktails were great. Our server Eli was very friendly and helpful , he answered my questions. The lobster bisque was delicious, and I liked that it had a tempura lobster garnish and the caviar in it was a nice touch too. The tempura wasn't as crispy as I would have liked it , I think only the end part was, but still very good soup. We also got some oysters which were great with the sauces on the side. I ended up getting the halibut, which I never get at a restaurant- but it was so good! With the wakame butter, bok choy, pork belly, and sticky rice. All the flavors worked so well together! Husband got the Cantonese chicken- which was delicious as well. Very crispy, flavorful. We were so stuffed afterwards otherwise we would have got dessert.
