I was grateful to be able to make a reservation here on a Saturday evening and we were seated fairly promptly after being informed to come 15 minutes after our time (which was nice of them to do). The host Tom and our waitress Patty were very kind and helped us while the crazed location was managing to flip tables (safely might I add due to COVID requirements). My wife had the ahi tuna tacos and I had a jalapeno bacon lobster roll. The food was served quickly and was packed full of flavor. The setting was nice and allowed us to talk without problems hearing. read more

Geddy's - Seafood Near Me - Bar Harbor, Maine

My boyfriend and I went to bar harbor for a few days and saw that Geddy's was a must try on Tiktok. I ordered the seafood pie with a blueberry margarita and my boyfriend ordered the surf and turf and blueberry ale, all of it was delicious! The seafood pie was worth every penny, SO much food and fish for a great price! We also got garlic mussels as an appetizer, so yummy! The server was very nice and quick with all of our needs. read more

Oysters were incredible! Loved the serrano lime sauce and blueberry sauce they came with! Interior is meh--typical bar/touristy vibes. A bit overpriced but food was good. read more

For dinner, the place had an hour wait but we killed some time walking around the vicinity. Prices are steep but food was pretty good. The jalapeño lobster roll was a bit more different than what other nearby restaurants offer. I shared the lobster set with my partner and also got the roasted brussel sprout appetizer. The set came with chowder and a slice of blueberry pie. They give out bibs and tools for the lobster. The cocktail we ordered was heavy on the vodka. read more

This place was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was a little too crowded and loud for our 1.5 year old but I think there was an event going on in the front of the place. I ordered the Ahi Tuna tacos and they are still making my mouth water! The clam chowder was decent too. Upon arriving they told us the wait was an hour so we walked around trying to find something else(nothing was open in April) and 15min later they called us back to a table. Score! I'm glad we got to experience it. read more

Very good food. Excellent lobster. Delicate and flaky fish and chips. Tasty Brussels sprouts. Nice service.

Best blueberry pie!! We came for dessert and they did not disappoint! 10 out of 10. read more

Good food, ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke which was on the small side but with a good amount of tuna, and the taco salad which was adequately sized. Two beers and one slice of blueberry pie with ice cream and a 15% tip and our bill was $90. FYI, pronounced Jetty. Good music, sat at the bar as the wait for dinner was 45 minutes on a Tuesday night around 7:30ish. read more

Came in for dinner the other night. Server and hostess were knowledgeable about gluten free options (could have everything on the menu except seafood pie, seared tuna tacos and scampi). We started with the calamari - it was a large portion served with julienne vegetables and a chili sauce. So good!! My SO had the fish and chips - crispy and delicious and was also a large portion. I had the lobster roll - amazing! The cocktails were also delicious! I had the key lime martini and the blueberry giggly juice! Mark was our server and he was awesome, knowledgeable and attentive. Great experience. read more

Easily the place that I had the most fun and felt the most welcome at during my recent trip to Bar Harbor. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a friendly atmosphere for dining parties of all shapes and sizes. Every single member of staff had a smile on their face and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. The lobster bake was fantastic, with the bowl of clam chowder honestly standing out as the highlight. To wrap it all up with a bow in the shape of a slice of warm blueberry pie was perfect. Honestly a must-visit spot if you're in Bar Harbor, definitely recommended. read more

Had lunch here, and can't say anything bad about this place. The decor was fun. The service was great. Food was served quickly and tasted awesome (wife had the lobster roll and I had a bacon cheeseburger, both with fries). The burger was cooked perfectly medium, and was very flavorful and juicy! I also got a piece of blueberry pie, which was good. But I'm not a connoisseur of blueberry pie as this was my first time having eaten a slice. read more

Stopped here the other night for the last night in Maine. There wasn't a wait time but the place was packed. The service was great, and the inside was really nice. We started off with some mussels which were fresh and delicious. Then the main reason I visited was for the lobster roll. It was everything I expected and more, one of the best i've ever had. I had to top it off with the blueberry pie, so good. If you're ever in bar harbor you gotta stop by here you won't be disappointed. read more

My friends and I come to Bar Harbor every year. The first time we went to Geddy's it was right after a very tiring hike. The waiter, seeing our exhausted state, brought us multiple pitchers of water. I was rehydrated back to life like Spongebob and Patrick at the end of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004). My crispy chicken sandwich tasted like heaven itself. It was a reassuring, reinvigorating experience through and through. read more

Massively disappointed, went for my birthday dinner here. Thought we were going as a special treat. The steamers were gross and the lobster pasta dish I should have just tossed in the ocean - it would have been way more satisfying. Expensive too. Nice server though hence the extra star. I don't recommend. *And yes this review is for Geddy's (replying to owner) - I added lobster to a pasta dish. read more

Got seated very quickly and our waitress was very nice. She even told us the story of why Bar Harbor doesn't sell coke! (Very cool!) I ordered the clam chowder and it was very good, potatoes were smooth, lots of clams, and texture was on point! For my main meal I got the MDI American Burger. The cook was perfect on the burger and it tasted very fresh, the bun was also very toasty and warm. For desert I got Blueberry Pie à la Mode. It might not have been the best pie I have ever had it was still very good. The blueberries inside was nice and warm and the crust was nice and flaky. The ice cream on top just made it even better. All I have to say is... Good job Geddy's! read more

We came here for dinner, it's in downtown, from outside, feels like a cute restaurant. I ordered their fresh haddock, it's pretty good with their table hot sauce. Maine Lobster roll was very good and it was a good amount for the price. 4 stars. Also came with excellent fries. Tried it with the hot sauce that was at the table which was also really good! Haddock with veggies and jasmine rice was good. I enjoyed it even though it was bland (expected) but it was still good enough that I would get it again. 3.5-4 stars Our server was so nice and good! 5 stars for him. Says Timothy on the receipt but I didn't confirm his name. Ambiance 4-5 stars No wait for 2 people around 1:45pm Sunday of Labor Day weekend. My boyfriend and I were so excited to go here. We had resys one week out for our dinner here. We ordered the blueberry giggle juice and blueberry mojito. We were excited to get little toys in our drinks (we had seen on yelp) and neither of us got one. It was upsetting. Both the blueberry giggle juice and the blueberry mojito were very good I will say. We both got the mini lobster bake. The lobster roll was so bad. It was stuffed with lettuce/mayo and the lobster wasn't fresh. 70% lettuce, 20% mayo, and 10% lobster. The clam chowder came in a tiny sauce bin and it wasn't good. The blueberry tart tasted like it was from costco. Can't believe it was $25. An outrage. Our waiter also was extremely moody and not upbeat. Wish we could've had a better experience. read more

Geddy's is busy for a reason. The food is great and so was the service. I ordered the "lazy" lobster dinner and it was delicious. A whole lobster, conveniently removed from the shell for $4, a cup of soup, ear of corn, and fresh blueberry pie was just what I needed after a day of hiking in Acadia. Food is what brings you to a restaurant but the friendly staff and vibe will bring you back!Started with Fresh Local Oysters with with blueberry vinaigrette sauce definitely got me excited for the rest of my meal (lol) they were delish!!! Hubby had the Mini-Lobster Bake which was Mini native fresh-picked lobster roll served with a cup of clam chowder and a blueberry cream cheese tart. He Loved it all but loved ending the dinner with the Blueberry tart...perfect accompaniment to the sandwich and chowder. I went for the Shrimp & Scallop Scampi Tossed with linguine, rocket greens & parmesan in a garlic butter sauce. You can also have it with Lobster for an upgrade but the fresh shrimp and scallops the likes you've never tasted at RED LOBSTER my friends. Soooooooo good. Our servers were awesomesauce...hard working crew. The hostesses made us feel so welcome and checked in on us as we left. They asked us how our experience was. I noted to my husband how happy the staff looked. They were busy and were running around but were all smiling, laughing and looked like they were enjoying working at Geddys. That is very important. It says alit about the owners about how they treat their staff. The place was packed. The bar was buzzing. The gift shop was and boutique clothing store are not to be missed. Check out Geddys... no regrets. We will absolutely come back! read more

The service and ambiance were really good. Great location by the water in downtown Bar Harbor. The food was good but not great. I liked the scampi overall but it felt a little bland and heavy on the oil and the toast was soggy. The calamari was excellent. Fun cocktail menu - the giggle juice was unique and tasty. Highly recommend making a reservation in the summer. No outdoor seating. read more

Pretty mediocre restaurant. Everything was pretty average, to be expected since this is such a tourist area. Came here for lunch one day, and we order the lobster salad, and the lobster roll combo to share. The lobster roll combo was pretty good included three items all of them were pretty small in terms of portion size. The lobster roll was OK, very small and the bread roll was a bit dry and not very tasty. The lobster salad special was terrible, for $30 you got a tiny little bit of salad and a tiny portion of lobster, it was smaller than an appetizer. Service was OK, could be spotty at times. Overall an OK experience, I would not go out of my way to come here. read more

Many of the restaurants were closed because we visited off season, but Geddy's pulled through. I got the fish and chips ($20ish) which were surprisingly delicious. There weren't strips of fried fish like I'm used to, but an actual fried fillet that was HUGE! The side of fries was also large. My friends got the shrimp scampi ($25), and seafood pie which they both really liked. We ordered a sliced of blueberry pie at the end, which was kind of small but hot and delicious ($7). My friend also got some sort of blueberry drink which she said was average. They had quite the array of sauces too. Service was good, ask for a window seat if you can! There's also a souvenir store downstairs that sells sweaters, shirts and knick knacks. read more
