We had coffees, iced tea and an iced latte. The iced latte and tea were served in glasses. The coffees were served in real ceramic cups and the cream was served in personal sized ceramic holders. It was a step up from your usual coffee house experience. All the drinks were good. For food, the table ordered the King's Breakfast, a Belgian waffle and gumbo. The waffle was served with your choice of maple and cane syrup and butter. The King's Breakfast was served with a healthy portion of real grits with real butter (yes it matters!) and an egg muffin. The bacon was shaped like flowers which gave a nice touch to the presentation of the food. The gumbo was full of chicken and sausage and tasted like it was homemade. I didn't intend to eat it all, but I did! The owners and staff couldn't have been more charming and friendly. What I noticed more than anything was the attention to detail. You can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into the customer experience. I'll be back for more!
