The hostess was not the friendliest but it happens. Then we waited a while, it was busy, but not packed like I've seen it, and finally we were waited on and again, a very luke warm welcome but it happens. The wait for the food seemed unusually long given how busy it was, but again, it happens. I ordered a Bistro burger and my wife ordered a Patty melt. When the food finally arrived, there was no, is there anything else we can get you, just a stop and drop, but it happens. By this time my soft drink had sat empty for at least 10 minutes, the waitress never came by to see if the food was dropped off or how it tasted or if anything else was needed. My wife had to go to another table to get the ketchup and salt. As a customer one hopes the food is worth the sub par service, lackluster attitude and long wait. It wasn't! That happens too! About 2 bites in, my wife asked, is your burger tasteless? I said yes, and not very warm either. My plate sat so long the bottom bun was soggy, so when I attempted to pick it up, it fell apart and made a mess. I didn't want to eat a hamburger with a fork and knife but that was the only way to eat it. Unfortunately that happens too. After about the 4th bite, my wife says, this is the most tasteless burger I've ever had and was done trying to choke it down. I ate most of mine on the mere principle I refused not to eat a burger that cost me $20! We placed our napkin on top of our plate and on top of the pile of cold fries they served to I guess offset the poor burgers they make and then waited more until I could call the waitress over to get our check. When she dropped off the check we continued to get the I could care less attitude and was never asked once how the meal was; nor was a refill ever offered. If you've read this far, you no doubt know this was a horrible meal and experience! As mentioned throughout, there are a lot of things that can happen (or not happen that should) in one restaurant experience, but there's one thing that won't happen again, and that's eating at the Relish Burger again! It's too bad too, as they have the best location and outdoor patio, just really poor food and service with prices that don't justify it with all the choices that are out there.
