3/23/2022: I HAD to get my microbrewery fix satiated; just had to do it!!!! I just discovered just twenty minutes before arriving at EDB, Outbreak Brewery as well as Placerville Brewery permanently shuttered FOREVER~WAAAAAH! So, off I searched via Google for a microbrewery close to my humble abode . . . Indeed~Eureka! I found El Dorado Brewery! Yay~ Naturally, I now habitually have my growler packed on ice inside my truck: Filler up, please with high-test, dark beer which will make hair grow on my chest (TMI)-LOL! Now~I'll return to my humble abode tasting the wonderful, chocolaty, dark beer~YUM!

London Porter one of the best porters I've ever had. I took the stout home as well.

Great tasting local beers. The porter and stout were great some of the best I've ever had. Come try this hidden local brewery.

Great selection of beers and super friendly guys! Check in to see when they'll have food trucks here, I hear wood fired pizza coming soon!

Been looking forward to this spot for quite a while. We don't have enough breweries up in the hills on the 50. Finally got a chance to give it a try today. When I rolled up at about 4 pm on Friday, I was the first one there. A few others wandered in a little later. As a newbie to this brewery, I thought I would try the IPA. They were pouring a couple of them and the gentleman recommended the Crystal. I would consider this more of an old school style IPA. Not overly hoppy with a good ratio of malt to hop. Maybe more of a Euro style? Hop heads would find it lacking. Next I tried the Olde Ale. I thought this was quite good. I was stoked to see that they were pouring an "olde ale" as you don't see them very often and if you do see them, they differ significantly from brewery to brewery. I liked this one. Good roasty and caramel flavors emanating from my pint glass. Facility was nice and clean and staff friendly. Definitely worth a try.

I understand he was upset probably because we took a table away from his potential tips, but to treat us the way he did is inexcusable. I asked if him if the food hadn't been made if we could cancel our order. He left and appeared to speak to the kitchen staff. He came back and cleared the table next to us and did not communicate anything to us. I asked, is that a yes or no? Without looking at us he said hold on. He finished clearing the table and walked away. He came back 10 minutes later and without saying a word he placed the bill on our table and left. Luckily we had the cash to cover it and a tip. As we walked away he rushed over, likely to make sure we weren't skipping out since he had been so rude. Will we go back? Uh no. This could have been handled much differently leaving us wanting to try them again.

We decided to sit on the patio since it was nice outside - they also offer a ton of seating inside and I also spotted a huge bar area. They are also dog friendly! We ordered the Kids Cheese Flatbread, Reuben Sandwich with Garlic Fries and the BOJ Burger. My daughter devoured her Flatbread and my husband really liked his Reuben Sandwich - I liked all of the toppings that came on my BOJ Burger, but the hamburger patty itself was not seasoned and it weirdly made the whole burger lack in flavor even though there was bacon, onion jam and gouda on it. Our friends also enjoyed their food as well! They offer a large beer menu and a fun cocktail list - I almost ordered one, but decided not to. I will have to next time! Overall, service was friendly and attentive - even when it started getting really busy. I was hesitate about visiting based off of the reviews, but we we all left full and satisifed. I would definitely come back to Main Street Tap House and check out other items! Check them out!

They've added sushi to their menu, a few people tried it; they wouldn't order it again. My dirty garlic shrimp was prepared well and was tasty but not at all hot. I'll definitely give the Tap House another try since they are local and their food was delicious in the past.

It was creamy, vibrant and chilly. Red's appears to specialize in blended ice cocktails. I also tried the Grasshopper which walks perfectly minty, creamy and sweet. For food I tried the flank steak sliders and the coleslaw. The coleslaw was notable with a touch of paprika on top that was different and a good contrast to the sweet drinks. The sliders could be better. They came out piping hot on a series of Hawaiian rolls. The steam from the meat dissolves the buns a bit so it was more of a knife and fork situation. The dried crispy onions were a nice touch. Excellent service from both bartenders and friendly conversation with the locals who frequent the bar. Overall, I'd highly recommend, especially fo the historical aspect. The building was constructed in the 1800s and originally served as a Wells Fargo weighing station before being converted to a bar.

Unfortunately, something has changed in the kitchen and noticebly different after our last 3 visits. Burgers appear to be frozen and possibly grilled over wood as advertised and DEFINATELY over- seasoned and salted. Still lack natural flavor, smoke and overcooked regardless of preferance . Also ribs are dry and reheated. I would not reccomend either entry! Something positive, service and golden cadilacs are good. Please get your kitchen in order and be great again

They do not, however they do something called a "fast pass" which basically means they put your name down and if you arrive while there's a wait, you get seated before anyone else who is waiting and does not have a fast pass. Kind of a different approach. I was glad that when we arrived, there wasn't anyone else waiting and there were tables available. Service was very attentive and friendly. He took our drink orders and allowed us some time to decide what to eat. Hubs and I both debated between multiple options- a lot sounded so good- but we both decided on the filet mignon. On the menu, it indicated that the dish comes with a béarnaise sauce; my husband really doesn't care for tarragon so he requested a substitution of their mushroom rosemary sauce instead (which is offered with their ribeye), and they happily obliged. The meal also included Yukon mashed potatoes and veggies. Our food was delivered soon after and I was pleasantly surprised that not only were our steaks still very warm but that they were cooked a perfect medium rare. The quality of the steaks was great, they were nice and thick. The veggies were, for the most part, overdone and a bit soggy, but that's not something that bothers me too much. The potatoes had good flavor but could have used much more milk/cream as they were pretty dry and firm. The experience was a good one and I would definitely return if we lived closer. I liked that their menu had a lot to offer- this is a good place for a family who has various tastes. Shout out to our server, Carver, who was great and provided very good service.
