When we first arrived there was a lot of confusion with cleaning tables, who was waiting on what table and other confusions. After about 5 to 10 minutes the confusion subside and we were seated. After we were seated the experience was much better. We were checked on regularly and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a wait, but it was also pretty crowded. The food was good and on par for the course. Wouldn't recommend it for families, but definitely good for coming to catch a sports game. Overall I would say this is comparable to a regional Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I've had issues in the past and I continued to come back. (4) times I have placed orders and (4) times I was told 15-20 mins and (4) times I show up around 25 mins later and no order was ever put in. The incompetence is a joke. The Joe Dirt looking manager clearly can't take any criticism and when you voice your frustration he throws you out, and tells you to not come back. TRUST ME, I will not be back and this place is a joke. They have an incompetent staff of young ppl who can't even turn in a simple order ticket...I mean how do you mess that up?!? They didn't put there best foot forward tonight. Regardless of how long they had been open this was a poor experience. We were seated on the patio next to the bar at around 7:55. Loud, smokey (patron with beer bottle smoking outside of restaurant) and not exactly a family atmosphere (language from surrounding tables). The drinks (sweat-teas and waters) and loaded nachos came out in a reasonable time. Tea was okay, not quite sweat and the chili on the nachos was tasteless. They didn't seem overly busy with tables empty but food took over 40-50 minutes to come out. We requested it be changed to take out at that point. The waitress (Andrea) asked if we were informed by the hostess that it was going to be 45 minutes to an hour for food to come up. We were not and would have chosen to try it on another day if we had. We were disappointed that a manager never checked with us or when it took so long came over to and talked with us. We checked out at 9:30. We were not expecting to get take out... When we got home the two burgers that were ordered medium-well were rare. The mac & cheese was watery with little cheese. The wings were fried not baked and the chicken wrap was as my son said, just okay as he trashed over half of it. Surely wasn't expecting to re-cooking two burgers when I got home. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. My ticket number was 13007 and we spent $74 to get take out, re-cook some portions and throw some portions away. She even brought our pups a bowl of water and kept their refills coming as well. Very kind and personable. Price- Standard prices, between $8-$14 per plate. Again, the food we ordered was worth the money, but the wait was about five minutes from causing us to cancel the entire order. Ambiance- Tons of TVs with the Saturday NFL game of the day on as well as college football and basketball. No issues here, great place! Overall- We live in the area and we really like supporting local business, so I hope we can improve this rating in the future. Ordered a salad there yesterday and some thing just didn't taste right. Only ate half. Second time getting a salad at gators in the past couple of years and I got sick both times. As well as my friend. Yesterday was no exception. I got so sick last night. And once again it's after I ate at gators. Service was amazing. Decided to try Gators since there's not much else to choose from in the WGV areas and I was meeting a friend for lunch. The inside seemed about what I expected, very casual and the outdoor seating was full at lunch but the inside was probably only half full. My friend and I were seated and placed our drink orders. After looking at menus for a few minutes, we placed orders for burgers. The wait for food was much longer than it should have been. It took at least 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Once we got it, I expected the burger would be a great burger for the $10 price but I was sadly disappointed. Also, I asked for a side of ranch and it showed up on my bill as a 79 cents charge, which is the first time any restaurant has every charged for a tiny sample of ranch. I don't like to be nickel and dimed without warning. The waitress did not tell me there's a charge for a condiment. Our waitress seemed nice enough but she was not attentive at all. We were never offered refills so our cups sat empty for the last half of the meal. I also asked for a dessert menu when we placed our order but she never brought it. Once we finished our burgers, I had to flag down another waitress to get me a dessert menu because our waitress never checked on us as dropping the food and didn't bring the dessert menu. I had to flag down another waitress for the menus so I placed an order for a brownie Sunday. Again, this took way too long, probably around 15-20 minutes which is completely unacceptable. This place has potential and its in a nice area but the service is not good and the pricing is way too high for the quality of food. I was very disappointed that it cost me $23 for a coke, burger and dessert. For those prices, I could have had a much better experience somewhere else. I would not recommend this place. read more

My family and I stopped in on a Saturday night, when business was brisk but not overwhelming. It took Or waitress 20 minutes to greet us, and get drink orders. Started things off with the gator tail seeing as my children thought of that as neat. Terrible waste of ten dollars. Flavor was great. The breading flaked off the tail, and the portion size was minuscule. When is came time for our order to come, my wife had happened to order the beer cheese burger, or some sort of gators equivalent. When it arrived it had no cheese! After a complaint the manager came to our table with no apology, he proceeded to take my wife's plate back to the kitchen. When it got back to us (in seconds) they had obviously just slathered it in whatever they had that passed for beer cheese. Terrible service. Terrible management. Terrible pricing. Terrible food. By the way- Monday is 50¢ wing night. The timing was great! They came out a few minutes after we ordered them. They were luke warm but were okay dipped in ranch. The wings came out and were also luke warm but tasted okay. I enjoyed the skooter sauce, which is a combination of both of the garlic sauces, so it has a mild kick. Leave the prevention at the door and take your cholesterol meds before arriving. Monday night is $0.50 wing night. They have grilled, Buffalo and breaded. TVs are everywhere which means come football season this place will be jammed. The atmosphere is lively as most sports bars tend to be.
