love the burgers and the new pool table! been enjoying this plane for years ................. great staff and live music too!

Food was delicious. Service was great. Food came out quickly. No wait for a table. Even though it was busy, the noise level was good. Great place for drinks and food. Highly recommend. read more

We stopped by for appetizers and drinks after golf. The restaurant was packed with football fans watching the multitude of big screen TVs. The game volume was fairly loud but expected for a sports bar. We opted for the egg rolls. The menu states the filling is "chef's choice". Today's choice seemed to be a cheeseburger filling. They two egg rolls cut diagonally were hot, cheesy, and loaded with ground beef. They were served on a bed of spring mix and ranch dressing on the side. Service was a bit slow today. However, they were packed and not the normal service we have received in the past. Cold beer and a full bar made the trip nice. read more

The food and service are always great. We will be coming back. We tried the patti melt and we're not disappointed.

We were visiting from out of state and our family recommended Taps. Service, food & drinks were tasty. We had a great time and enjoyed Trivia night. read more

Nice local bar & grill. Got a table for 7 right away on a Saturday evening. Enjoyable place for watching sports and has a large draft list. My husband has raved for years about their Philly cheesesteak- he orders it every time and loves it! I had the California wrap (guac on the side). It was cooked well. I always enjoy their wraps. For apps, we got the egg rolls on special, chips & queso, and pork rinds. The group raved about the pork rinds- I tried one but they just aren't my thing. Queso was a 7/10. Egg rolls were decent- they rotate the type from day to day. My side salad was good size, and I really enjoyed the house vinaigrette dressing. Food came out super quickly even with it being a fairly busy night. read more

Such a fun bar/restaurant! We got there about 5pm on Thursday and within 30 mins they were packed!! I love seeing local restaurants full with patrons! So clearly the food is good! I love everything we tried! The buffalo dip and huge chunks of chicken and I don't really like blue cheese but I couldn't stop eating that dip! The jalapeno poppers were so good! I loved the breading and the filling in it! I love the hand cut fries a the boneless wings too! But the star was the fried Oreos with ice cream! Beyond tasty! Can't wait to come back and try more!! Service was fantastic and soo fast!! and I loved that you could pay by QR code too! read more

Doctor Bs wife is next to me right now as I am writing this and she smells. Also sadly Doctor B wasn't even here.. Anyways! Hello everyone and we are back and we even have a new guest who goes by the name of tragic. It was a nice day until I got 3rd degree burns all over my body at the beach, so we figured to go to a bar and grill to cool off and watch St John's make me lose money. We were seated almost immediately to where we met with a beast of a waiter. His name was Ricky and you could tell he knows for sure what he's doing. With his funny jokes and quick responses he more felt like a homie than our waiter. I was feeling different so I ordered a shrimp platter and had a quesadilla app (which the ogre took part of from me). She's so fat too it's actually crazy, I mean it's all "food food food" with this girl. Anyways everyone got boneless wings and again I got something different.. I'm a leader not a follower. Side note if you were wondering why Doctor B and his wife weren't together he decided instead of hanging out, he had a rugby tournament??? So anyways onto the reviews Wife: "They left my lips with a tingy feeling, but it was more than good" Ogre: "I liked the coleslaw" Tragic: "Wood" My good buddy bezos: actually unfortunately I can't say what he said on here because it isn't pg Me: Sure I mean bar food nice people, food was probably all frozen but it was a good time and great people. Nice job Ricky, thanks for being dope read more

Heard this would be a good place to meet with young adults and experience a good atmosphere, but seemed like an average bar. Didn't have a chance to socialize and we were recommended burgers but they seemed like frozen patties that I could've made are home. read more

We've visited Taps 3x since relocating to the area and every visit has been superb. Excellent service, laid back atmosphere, and a wide variety of great food items on their menu. They have specials most days like 1/2 price boneless wings, which are phenomenal. Taps is becoming our new go-to choice on the regular. read more

Arrived at 6:30 for a table for 8. Waited about 30 minutes for a table as it was quite busy. It was trivia night and we enjoyed the competition and the food. The food arrived promptly and was well prepared. Service was friendly and attentive. Would love to go back for another go at trivia. read more

I've always considered taps to be the neighborhood bar where people know your name but after this visit, it's a place where you go to get fine food. I've seen some of the good food reviews and the pictures but when I got there, I saw the real thing. I had this Bangin' shrimp and it was delicious. I sat next to some people at the bar and they informed me how great all the food was there as I looked at the delicious food being served out around me. So this is a place I'd definitely have to come back and try it some more of the menu soon. read more

Taps has a bit of a split 'bar & grill' personality, blending a bar / sports bar atmosphere with a more traditional restaurant setting. The large bar area, featuring high-top seats and plenty of TVs, seems to draw a solid lunchtime crowd of regulars. Meanwhile, the restaurant section offers a quieter dining experience with booths and tables, plus an outdoor seating option. The exterior could use a facelift--perhaps more color or better signage and an entrance to the front door rather than off to the side--but the interior delivers the look and feel of a high-end bar and grill. Service was a highlight of the visit. Our server, Katlynn, had great energy and attentiveness, making sure drinks were refilled without prompting. It's also worth noting that Taps is part of the same rewards program as South in Nocatee, which adds a nice loyalty incentive. As for the food, it was good but not outstanding. My wife's fish sandwich was on the smaller side but an appropriate portion for lunch. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which stood out thanks to an excellent barbecue sauce selection. The ability to swap fries for spinach (for a small upcharge) was a welcome option, as I wouldn't have eaten the fries. Pricing was reasonable, with lunch coming in under $20 per person, including a drink. Given the quality of service, solid food, and fair pricing, I'd rate Taps Bar and Grill 4 out of 5 stars. It's a good spot for a casual lunch, especially if you enjoy a sports bar atmosphere with decent food and friendly service. read more

We went on a busy Friday night. The service was ok but she was really busy so she didn't have the time to spend that I'm sure she'd like to. We both had the blackened fish tacos and they were really good. The happy hour specials on drinks was just ok, not as good as their other location, South Kitchen in Nocatee. It was loud in there which given it's a sports bar is expected. If you;re going to watch your team this would be a great place to go. If we're in the area we'd probably go again. read more

Management comes around to check on you and kitchen is always on point, VERY fast. Highly recommend for local quick bite and for love music nites/trivia nites as well! read more

Typical bar food.. nothing special. Noisy. Not that clean. Service was perfunctory not special

Came down on vacation and ate at a bunch of popular, highly recommended restaurants for days. Was looking for something low key for the last night and came here. Wish we'd come here the first night because we would have been back. Server recommended the fish and chips and both parts of the meal were serious contenders for the best I've ever had. Lots of TV's with all the games playing. I usually try to tune out restaurant music but I liked their lo fi mix. Fried Oreo a la mode for the exclamation point. In short, don't sleep on this place just because of its unassuming location in a Wynn Dixie shopping center. It punches way above its weight. read more

Was really disappointed after my recent visit for lunch. I ordered a Reuben sandwich which included fries. I've had numerous Reubens at other restaurants, including Taps. However, this one was not great. The meat was really fatty and I was only able to eat a portion of the sandwich. Every bite I was stretching the meat to break the fat apart. The fries that came with the sandwich were overcooked and quite dark unlike the picture on the website. They did a redo on the fries for me, but these were a bit oily and undercooked. I normally don't complain about food at restaurants because many times it's the luck of the draw. This one was a swing and a miss for me. read more

Great cheesesteak. Rion knows our drink selections and keeps the refills coming. Great job Rion and food prep staff!

I had passed by this restaurant many times because it is in the same shopping center as my bank but I had never tried it until today for lunch. The outside of the restaurant is not the most inviting because it is very dark with the railings and the outdoor furniture, as well as the tinted windows. We weren't even sure it was open. The interior looked much better. It seemed to be more popular as a bar than a restaurant as more people chose to sit at the bar. Service was quick from our waitress with menus and drinks. The menu is rather extensive, with appetizers, soups, salads, wings, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees. I opted for the fried fish sandwich and it came with hand cut fries. The fries were really good and rather plentiful. The fish sandwich was not the most plentiful fried fish sandwich I have had in my life, and the tartar sauce was also sparse. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was good. He also substituted sautéed spinach for his fries for a small upcharge. read more

To start, the food was amazing!! I loved my grilled cheese, and everyone else in my party liked their food. We loved how they had SO MANY drink options (including pitchers of beer). The service was so amazing, Ricky was great. He was so engaged and was so nice!! ありがとうございます、リッキ！And last but not least, the ambiance.. it looked like such a nice sports bar, a little crowded, but it's Friday night, what do you expect. Even, despite this, we got seated so quickly and got served right away! Thanks again y'all, we had a great time. read more

Nice little sports bar on 210, come here to watch sports from time to time and its always delicious.

We found this place on a whim and had never been here before. Because it was our first time and they have a decent variety on the menu we had several different apps before our entrees. Everything we ate was fantastic and the service was wonderful. We will be back and definitely recommend it! read more

I don't have pictures to share, I'm sorry. I've been slacking on my reviews lately because it has gotten expensive to eat out. We have visited some of our usual locations because of the price and I've already completed reviews for those joints. I wanted to write a review for this place. It was a new stop for us because it's near my nieces house. The food may my wife very sicks. We figured out why. She is allergic to chicken and the oil used for cooking the fish is the same as what is used to cook the chicken. If you have similar allergies be aware. The service was good. They waitress was quick to return with drinks and the food came out quick as well. The ambiance was nice. I like the tap handles and the Untapd beer screen menu is nice; I'm a big Untapd fan. The food was decent. I had a burger and it was good. The French fries were cooked in old oil; they were nasty. I also had some jalapeño poppers and those were meh at best. We all shared a beet salad and that was decent, but I've had better. Would I go back, yes. Would my wife go back, no. This means that the chances of me going back to this place are very slim. read more

I have celiac disease, had a delicious gluten free burger cooked perfectly. Bar staff is awesome!

The food was decent but the service was awful!!! Today was the start of football season and the place was empty, sad for a neighborhood bar and grill. Our server was too busy gossiping with another table to take our order, other tables were leaving due to a lack of service. He was obviously disinterested in working today. Glasses were empty and people were complaining......do better Taps! read more

This was a regular spot for us when they first opened many years ago. I'm not sure what happened - maybe a change of ownership - but they lost us as regulars when food and service quality declined. The opportunity came up for a quick lunch in the area so we decided to check them out after not visiting for I'm guessing about 5 years. The atmosphere was the same as was the layout. While the place was not that busy given a late lunch on a Monday, service was solid. Fish and chips used to be a favorite here and its decline was was one of main reasons I stopped being a patron. I had decided on a burger to keep things safe but asked the waiter his opinion on the fish. He stated it was their top seller so called and audible and took a chance. I was not disappointed as the fish was substantial and perfectly battered and prepared. I wasn't a big fan of the cole slaw but it wasn't a show stopper. After this experience, I'll probably add them back into the rotation for this area. Welcome back Taps! read more

I sat at a high top near the bar and had to wait a good while to get service. Bartender handled my service. He was not friendly or too interested in having to come out from behind the bar. Nice place to watch sports. Had a burger that was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Fries were good and Tito's with soda was great. Bartender needs to get gas so it looks like he's smiling. read more

I visited Taps by chance, I happened to be in the area and had a 15 minute wait, and to my surprise they were open! These days finding an open patio to enjoy a beverage is exciting, to say the least. The hostess and waitress were very pleasant and were wearing gloves at all times. I decided to seat outside, ordered a beer and queso... you know when visiting on taco Tuesday one must honor the day, since I was not quite hungry for a full blown taco order, queso it's the next best thing. Queso came out quickly and it was yummy, creamy and a tad bit spicy, with multicolor chips what else can you ask for. Overall a really good quick patio snack adventure, I will certainly put taps on my list of places to try in the near future. read more
