We had tried to have lunch somewhere else nearby but it was closed for Memorial Day so we came here as a backup. It ended up being a pretty good lunch. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful golf course with plenty of great views. The menu has about six appetizers, three salads, and ten sandwiches including wings and a cauliflower flatbread. I had the smoked brisket sandwich with fries, and another member of our party had it with coleslaw. A third party member had the cauliflower flatbread with shrimp added. We had just arrived to stay at the resort and the 3 of us just didn't want to get in the car to get a hot lunch. While the dining room didn't seem busy, it took a while to get service. The menu is small but I still had a hard time deciding from tempting choices. The item I really wanted was the hot pretzel but I knew I had to have something more balanced. I also knew I could do that in addition to something else. We finally agreed to order one for the table. OMG...don't miss it. We loved each having a taste. It comes hanging with a great dip and is impressive. Wish I'd gotten a photo, but we were so hungry, we just dug in. I had a grown up grill cheese with tomato and bacon on thick sliced bread, which was tasty. The burger was deemed done as requested. The chicken sandwich was also pronounced good. The pretzel is the item we would all order again. One of my guests went back the next day and ordered it again for himself with the burger. read more

We stayed at the resort and needed something quick to eat so we tried here and it was decent for resort food. Staff was nice.

If I could give a zero it would still be too high. 5 of us went for lunch at 1:00 on a Thursday. They had 1 banquet of 16 women. No one else in the restaurant. We asked to sit outside. Table was dirty and server Chandler got huffy because "u are outside". They were out of 1 menu item bc "we just had a banquet". Ordered food but never came. Excuse? "We only hv 1 cook". We left. If you just need somewhere to eat on the resort for breakfast or brunch, this place is decent, but if you have time to go elsewhere, I would recommend that first. The 3 egg omelet was good. It comes with 3 toppings, and sides. There was plenty of food for the price we paid. It was a nice day, so the view of the course was pretty to look at while eating breakfast. read more

We stopped in for late Sunday Funday lunch and cocktails. Great find! Burgers were wonderful w unique sauces including peanut aioli and bacon jam. Service was exceptional -thank you Brittany! Mom enjoyed shrimp and grits with aioli. read more

My husband, and 2 teenage sons went to have lunch before heading over to the World Golf Hall of Fame. There is NO hostess station to speak of, so we stood around for a while waiting for someone to help us. There were 2 servers, but only one seemed to be taking orders. The other one seemed to be bussing the tables. There was a junior golf tournament which had ended, and most of those families had already been served and were gone (they appeared to have a set menu, and yet the restaurant STILL managed to run out of whatever it was they were serving - despite knowing the number of golfers entered in the tournament!) We were told to pick a table, and waited quite a while for someone to give us menus, quite a while to have out order taken, quite a while to have our drinks brought to us, and a REALLY long while for our food. My younger son ordered the chicken, bacon, swiss sandwich which he enjoyed. My older son ordered the Sandwich/Soup Duo (grilled cheese and Italian Meatball soup), which he also enjoyed. My husband ordered the prime rib french dip which claims to be served with au jus, but the chef must not have felt like making any au jus that day, because he served it with a small cup of the Italian Meatball soup for dipping instead! My husband was incredibly disappointed in that, as he said it ruined the sandwich. I ordered the cranberry chicken salad sandwich which claims to come with oven dried tomato and mozzarella cheese. There was NO tomato, oven-dried or otherwise. There was no mozzarella. Since the chicken salad had no celery, onion, almonds or pecans, herbs or anything, I would have said that it was bland and tasteless, as all it had was chicken and cranberries. However, it definitely had a taste - it tasted of TART cranberries. Apparently no one told the chef that chicken salad is supposed to be made with DRIED SWEET cranberries (ie. craisins), NOT fresh tart ones!!! Or, perhaps, like the soup/"au jus" he just didn't feel like making it the right way. It was so SOUR it tasted like lemon juice had been poured over it! I have never in my life tasted chicken salad served with fresh cranberries. (And I eat chicken salad fairly oftern.) It was AWFUL! Don't waste your time or money! read more

We love this place after a round a golf! My husband and I split a Squires Sandwich (club sandwich on steroids) and upgraded the side to Black and Tan Onion Rings (super delicious and incredible portion). Drinks are poured right (!) and they have an excellent selection in the bar. Staff are attentive - we always have great service. read more

great place for lunch if you are in the area of the World Golf Hall of Fame. I have never had fish taco's before, but these made me a fan. Large pieces of Mahi, perfectly cooked. Wife said her salad was very good also. Waitress was wonderful. read more

Very good lunch after a round of golf. My husband had the chicken ranch wrap with fries and I had the tuna salad sandwich with chips. Good size meals and with regular fountain drinks the bill was 26.00. Service was good and very friendly. read more

I could write a book about how terrible this place is. I live in world golf village and we have tried this place 3 times for breakfast. Incredibly slow even when they place is nearly empty, order is always messed up and inattentive service. I would rather eat dirt than eat there ever again. On Dec. 17, 2017, there were four of us with plans to enjoy the day with lunch at 1 pm and exchange holiday gifts. We walked into the restaurant and located a table only to discover how dirty the floor was under our chairs. We moved to another table and realized it was just as dirty and the tables hadn't been cleaned either. We were patient because we had previously eaten there a few months ago and enjoyed the food. There was a bartender and about 5 people at the bar. We waited for someone to give us directions/menus because we didn't want to put our packages or purses on the floor due to the filth. My husband noticed a waiter walking by, got up and walked over to him and explained how dirty everything was and inquired why no one had waited on us. We were told there had been a party the night before. My husband replied, "Geez, it's 1 pm already and no one is doing anything to clean up this place. No one had approached us and we are the only people at a table in the entire establishment." Our celebration was spoiled at this point so we picked up our items and began to depart. The bartender finally acknowledged us leaving and said: "sorry, was busy here at the bar". Sadly, we won't ever return and won't recommend this place to anyone. It appeared there wasn't a manager on duty that day to give directions to the team to clean up. But, for goodness sake, does the staff need to be told to do that? I hope the manager reads this and makes inquiries to the team that was working that day to see why no one was doing anything to promote a clean environment for paying customers. I wish there was a NO STAR available for this review because ONE STAR is misleading. read more

I have played the Slammer and Squire many times over the years and when I try to go to the Legends grill for breakfast it is very hit and miss so I usually avoid it. Today I decided to give it a try and showed up 30 minutes after they opened. Just my luck, "our cook didn't show up" was my greeting. I had to get back in the car dash out to Burger King for breakfast, at least they could get me a biscuit. Very poorly managed place. read more
