I don't have anything to complain about for my first trip here! Food was excellent, service was great, place was clean, environment was family friendly for lunch. I'll definitely be back! We tried the southwest salad, BLT and tacos. All had plenty of flavor, came out hot!

Not sure why this place has less than 4 stars. It's not a high end bougie restaurant, but the menu is extensive and has something for everyone. I would call this upscale/craft bar food. We came on National Margarita Day so I opted for the premium margarita. Not the best I have ever had, but it was smooth and not cheap tasting. Very good. We got the zucchini fries to start. Amazing. Light and crispy with the best homemade ranch. I always ask my server what their favorite menu item is if I've never been. I opted for her recommendation which I had been eyeing anyways - the sweet spicy fried chicken sandwich. Had a major kick without too much sweet which I loved. Get yourself some ranch or blue cheese on the side to dip it in to cut the spice a bit. My friend got the cheeseburger flatbread. It was huge. Our server says the size differs based on who is in the kitchen just fyi. Loved our server Sarah. We also came in on a Tuesday which happened to be trivia night so even though we were terrible it was fun!

The two of us eat at Over the Falls regularly and always enjoy it. I'm honestly surprised I hadn't written a review before. Lunch for two came to $65.80 + tax and tip, and there was more than enough food. I ordered one of my two favorites: the Ahi Tuna Pita (the other favorite is the blue cheese burger). I paired it with a side salad and blue cheese dressing, plus an unsweetened iced tea with lemon. My wife ordered The Barrel, their Philly cheesesteak, with a side of sweet potato fries. We also shared an order of house-made potato skins. It was far too much food, in a good way, and we took plenty home. Service was outstanding and truly a team effort. One moment stood out: when my wife hesitated to ask for sour cream for the potato skins, our server immediately said, "It's just 15 steps, let me get it for you." That small gesture made a big difference. The rest of the team was equally warm, friendly, and attentive. The ambiance works perfectly for us, lively, busy, and welcoming without feeling chaotic. I would be confident ordering virtually anything from the menu. We'll keep coming back.

Our server, Dawn, was easily one best servers I've had in a long time. Knowledgeable about the menu, made a point to explain everything and no questions were too obscure. We had a variety of dishes, and out of everything the pork schnitzel wasn't really a schnitzel if you've ever had one in Germany, it was more like a breaded, fried bone-in pork chop, really good but not a traditional schnitzel. The asparagus, the risotto, the pasta, the chicken were all absolutely superior. The stars were the appetizers, especially the kung pao fried Brussels, those are a meal by themselves, some of the best I've ever had! The fried burrata cheese, worth the drive to Wake Forest. Their Cherry cobbler one word: YUM! The Farm Table is a roomy restaurant with tables well suited for family style dining and while a bit loud, certainly not uncomfortably so Totally recommended and thank me later for those Brussel Sprouts!

We had one app (tuna poke nachos if you must know) that were very good, but everything else was sort of mid. The ideas are good...execution comes across a bit flaccid. No bold flavors, only bold ideas. Draft beer selection was definitely good. Mixed drinks tasted fresh (no sour mix etc) and the ambience was welcoming and chill. Staff were all nice. Place seemed clean. Flavor Score: 3 Experience Overall : 4

After running errands, we drove just six minutes to El Chapin, a Guatemalan restaurant. Forget Tex-Mex--this is a completely different Latin cuisine experience. The two of us spent $76 (including tax and tip), but we intentionally ordered extra to take home leftovers. Parking was easy, right out front, and the restaurant itself is spacious. Since we arrived just a few minutes after opening, we had the place to ourselves at first and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and very helpful--the server even suggested we might have ordered too much food (he was right, but we didn't mind!). Here's what we tried: Plato Chorizo y Longaniza - a sausage platter with salad, rice, refried black beans, and two delicious housemade corn tortillas. Pollo Adobado - marinated chicken with rice, salad, refried black beans and two housemade corn tortillas . Ceviche de Camarón - fresh and tangy, though light on shrimp, which tasted a bit tough Fried Plantains - perfectly done, sweet, and satisfying. Plus, I had an unsweetened iced tea with lemon. The highlights for me were the flavorful rice (with vegetables mixed in, including carrots and squash), the marinated chicken, and the sausages. The plantains were also excellent. The ceviche had great flavor but could've used more shrimp. The only miss for me was the salad--generous in portion but iceberg-based, so a bit bland. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, not heavy or greasy, and we left with enough for another one or two meals. We'll definitely be back.

It is on the side closer to Capital Blvd., and there is plenty of parking. Usually, when I dine here, I can select my own seat, and they bring me a menu, but at busy times, they will seat me. You can enter from either side of the building, and one side has a ramp. I try to enter on the left side as I like to look at the daily specials. Over the years, I have gotten to sample quite a bit on the menu. The portions are always large and generous. My favorites are the eggs Benedict, the burgers and the fried fish. But I have enjoyed everything I've eaten here. Breakfast can be ordered all day here. The menu has Southern dishes and Dominican dishes, too. Our server brought our menus and got our drinks, my boyfriend ordered us some Arepas and it came with 2 sauces one salsa verde and one mayo/ketchup mix. They had sandwiches and some Spanish Caribbean food. I decided to try something I have never had before and got the Ropa Vieja with black beans and tostones and He got the Cuban sandwich (with no mustard ) and maduros. It was delicious very flavorful food although my bf was like that would be good with white rice since Rooa vieja is stew like and so I ordered that as well and man....that was exactly what it needed (it should automatically come with it!) the meat was sooooo tender and juicy and delicious! Also I didn't realize what the tostones were so I ended up trading those for His maduros (which is what I thought I was ordering with the tostones...now I know better) The meat from his sandwich was also tender delicious well seasoned and make me jealous I didn't order it too! It was served well done. When asked "how is everything" by the bartender/server as he rushed by I replied "it's okay" and he didn't break stride before moving on to the next table. - a different server came by after awhile and asked if we needed to go boxes. I declined and said the beef was overcooked. The server walked away. - a third person came over and said "I heard you were not satisfied with your meal". I explained that it was not served as advertised. He then asked "what would you like me to do about this"? I find this an odd question - no apology for the beef being over cooked, no offer to comp the item, he never introduced himself. - I chose not to answer the question. He then came back with the bill and let us know that he comped the over cooked sandwich (which included one side on the menu) but "only charged you for the side" Yes, my review is overly detailed and may come across as whiny. However, our party of four honestly felt like the staff didn't care if we were there or not. They also forgot my dining companion's grilled chicken on her grilled chicken Caesar. I honestly hope they improve and become part of the neighborhood but our family will not return. Ps - I really like pickled onions and didn't see anything on the menu served with pickled onions.
