I highly recommend the Original Bagel Sandwich--an everything bagel with bacon, American cheese, and a fried egg--paired with Oliver's hash. The hash has outstanding flavor and is truly a standout. Another favorite is the Scrambler (scrambled eggs with bacon, scallions, mushrooms, peppers, aged cheddar, and Oliver's hash underneath). Again, the flavor is excellent. If you enjoy a little kick, be sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce--it's terrific. I believe the ketchup is made in-house as well, although it's not quite to my taste. My one consistent disappointment with breakfast is that the menu never changes. They don't seem to offer specials, and I would really love to see new items introduced--whether occasionally or seasonally. Adding some variety would make an already great experience even better. I've considered going for lunch, but the current menu doesn't quite draw me in. I tend to go to specialty places for pizza or tacos, and while I'm sure the soup is very good, I can't justify $17 for a bowl. There are burgers and sandwiches as well, but nothing that really stands out to me. Again, introducing lunch specials or rotating items would make a big difference and likely bring me in more often. The atmosphere is excellent--comfortable, inviting, and full of charming little nooks and crannies, along with bar seating. If having a booth is important to you, I recommend making a reservation.

‼New restaurant try that should go on your list!‼…read more I've wanted to try @churchillstmn in Shoreview for a few years now and just hadn't gotten around to it yet. Finally went and had an awesome lunch that I'll definitely need to go back for again. Everything we ordered was really really good. The menu had so many contenders so I'll need to come back and try other things. We noticed a pancake go by our table and that kinda did it for me. I love me a savory and sweet situation so I went with the following and fell in love with my choices and my Auntie's sandwich too....sorry, not sorry. The Breakfast Sandwich (so much flavor going on in this sandwich and when I ordered the response was ooo good choice, which is a deal maker for me) Kid's Pancake on the side (Uffdah this was yummy) Crispy Chicken Sandwich (not my order today but tried a bite and my goodness was it good. The looks of the breading put me off a bit to start but it was deceiving. It wasn't heavy and thick but it was thin crisp tasty breading to complement the sandwich I was impressed with how flavorful the chicken was and balanced with everything.) Monster Cookie was a delicious treat later too So basically everything we got was great and when I go back I'll maybe get something new and let you know thoughts then. Safe to say you should check it out sometime. For more awesome food spots check out the account mallorymademetryitmn on Instagram!

The chef and bartender design and develop new and fresh ideas for the menu each month. The Prime Rib sandwich was a sell out hit. The wild mushroom flatbread was tasty and a nice crispy crust. On a warm humid Saturday we needed something to do and finally made the reservation. We had originally reserved two spots at the bar. With an open kitchen, we thought it might be entertaining and fun to watch them prepare the food. The bar seating is not very attractive as the kitchen area is a bunch of shelving and and to be honest, not much to see. We changed our plans and were seated at a table. The drinks. My spouse ordered a drink that did not come with any alcohol. When we pointed it out to the server, she stated that she could get us another one. Also mentioned that she would advise the bartender. My spouse passed on another try at the drink and ordered a glass of wine instead. I ordered one of the special drinks they offered and was just somewhat satisfied. The food. I ordered the halibut which was presented very well, but it was very bland with a total lack of taste. My spouse ordered the roasted vegetable pasta which our servers said was loaded with vegetables. That was definitely an exaggeration as other than a few pieces of broccoli, it was very light on vegetables. My spouse is willing to give it another try but for me, I believe it is the last time. I will check it out if I see some encouraging reviews on yelp.

They must change the menu because we were here last year (Feb 2025) and not much on the menu appealed to me. But this year they were lots of things I wanted to try. I'm late in posting my review. If you don't like sitting in the sun , consider asking for a table instead or away from the windows. Food 5/5: we got the brussels sprouts and shrimp bowl. I loved the maple sauce with the goat cheese on the sprouts! It's definitely different than the soy type sauces other places are doing, and brought the perfect salty sweet combination. The shrimp bowl is my go to here, and was great. The sauce with the shrimp, avocado, veggies and rice is a great balance of flavor. Service 5/5: our server was very attentive and the food came quickly. Ambiance 5/5: this place has an upscale cozy vibe. It is on the smaller side, so tables are somewhat close, but not too close. I ordered the gyro plate and it came with gyro meat, rice, hummus and some tzatziki salad, with a nice pita bread. The online ordering system could use some work, since it didn't have the gyro plate, but my friend's credit card didn't go, so we called and they added a gyro plate to our order. 10 people got lunch, and the choices were all over the board. A Philly cheesesteak, lots of wraps and gyro sandwiches and salad, everyone said it was great. The delivery was on time, which was appreciated and everyone thought I made a great pick. The gyro meat was plentiful, I could have used a little more, since it was flavorful and the hummus and salad were up to what I expected, but wonderful, as a spread on my awesome piece of pita bread. A lot of laughs and I got a chance to meet some remote co-workers, who happened to be in town. Lovely lunch!

And ordered the "Fried plantain & cheese," which was actually a fried empanada with powdered sugar sprinkled over the top. It was excellent - a perfect dessert. We arrived between lunch and dinner times, and there was no one else in the restaurant, so the staff were in the kitchen and didn't notice us for a couple minutes. Otherwise, service was cheerful and no complaints. The atmosphere is not fancy - not a first date destination. Will definitely go again for a mediterranean plate.

We didn't have food, but from those around that had food, everyone was finishing their plates and appeared tasty! The drinks were good and the waitress was on top of refills as needed right away. Great service! With the weather, there weren't many on the patio, but the inside with folks was never too loud or overwhelming. I was impressed! Maybe it's because it was a weeknight, but staff and patrons were all friendly and respectful. I'd opt to go here again and be inclined to try a few of the plates of food!! Thank you, Boulevard!
