    Tortilla Soup
    Dante M.

Garden Cafe is another one of my favorite restaurants in Yuma, and I always make sure to come here when I'm in town! The service is so friendly, as my family knows some of the servers personally and will give them hugs! The food here is delicious as well, and they are known for their tortilla soup! The soup is super flavorful and has loads of tortilla and avocado in it! My girlfriend and I also split the tri tip plate, which comes with 4 pieces of tri tip, a side salad, beans (black or pinto), salsa, and tortillas! By splitting the plate, this was just not enough food for me, so I ate the rest of an asada burrito which was really good! The only reason I'm hesitant on giving it 5 stars is that the portion sizes aren't the biggest, but the food is of top quality! definitely check it out if you're in the area, and I can't wait to be back!

We love coming here for the famous tortilla soup!! Unfortunately, the other food we have tried is pretty subpar in our opinion. The seating is only outdoors so keep that in mind but they're only open when the weather is nice and they do have heaters. Our service has always been great !

Vegetable quiche, fruit and coffee cake.

Beautiful outdoor garden seating. They have an upper area in the sun and a lower patio covered by a colorful tarp. I had the vegetable quiche and it was outstanding. It came with huge pieces of fruit and a massive slice of coffee cake. There are lots of regulars who know the staff and visitors are treated like family.

The birds will keep you entertained

Little gen in Yuma. Atmosphere great, food good, coffee was not gourmet. If passing through I'd go again.

But, as of yet The Press has joined forces with Baja Viches a group of culinary mavericks known for their unique recipes. The combination of these two businesses coming together was exciting, with good reason. Baja Viches has gained a reputation for its seafood masterpieces and combined with The Press's food style, we all waited in anticipation. Since the merger I've visited The Press a few times and during my visits the staff was always respectful and attentive. I always asked about their dishes and they've all been extremely knowledgeable. On one of my visits I asked if they had any healthier alternatives to the tortilla. One of the hosts recommended the Keto Surf & Turf. This was a steak and shrimp taco in a cheese shell. The taco was insanely delicious, I also ordered 2 of their pork belly tacos to go. I had planned on sharing them with the misses, but it seems they were so good, she ate them both. I for one enjoy the decor and their choice in music, one time it was reggae and another soft rock. All in all it's always a great experience and I would strongly recommend you visiting The Press.

The menu had so many options, I had a hard time choosing, but the girl at the register gave me her honest opinions and helped guide me to what would satisfy my cravings that day. Such a friendly little spot, there was a meeting of the housewives of Yuma in the corner and it had such a home feel to it. Can't wait to explore more of the menu! Oh. And the prices are incredibly reasonable!

My wife and I and a friend visited Cafecito on the Monday after Easter. The service was great and the drinks were ready quickly. We looked around the main building at all of the cool artistic touches and even a few private spaces. People were reading books, talking, using laptops, relaxing, etc. We took our drinks and found a nice spot under a gazebo in their expansive outdoor garden area. We chatted for the better part of an hour. No rush. Fantastic space which filled up rather quickly on a Monday morning. Plenty of people taking advantage of the amazing seating areas in the outdoor space. We will definitely be back. Already looking forward to it. A salad of lettuce and two thick slices of tomatoes were dressed with a delicate oil and vinegar combo. I might not order this dish again but it was light and yummy. Yep it's back by popular demand but it's now called egg in a nest. What the heck? Anyway every one ordered something different and we ate to our hearts content and had no complaints whatsoever about the food, the ambiance or the cleanliness. Chicken fried chicken dinner evaporated from his plate. The burger and onion petals seemed to have delighted the nephew. One of the ladies in our party seemed happy with her chicken strips, which were more than abundant! Another ordered a diet plate of some sort with cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes and was especially happy. A new item on the menu appealed to another. Louisiana shrimp skillet. Was flavorful, and those who tasted the nice portion of shrimp agreed that it was surprisingly delicious. The side, dishes of okra, and greens are always favorites. All of us commented on the new menu. Although we missed the old format, this one is easier to hold, and the print is bold enough that you're not needing to use your flashlight if you're older like we are. We are thankful that the menu has the old favorites, something new and that Cracker Barrel values its customers. It's such a nice thing to be able to travel and dine at any location and feel like your unfamiliar surroundings. But I wonder why is that there are so many locals who freely admit that they have never yet dined here? One maintenance issue... the latch on the ladies handicap stall door is STILL needing to be fixed! One issue with our visit. Not once were we offered refills on beverages.
