But the sandwich was served up on fresh sourdough and the bacon was chopped up into tiny pieces so it was so easy to eat without tugging, and served with avocado slices, tomato, lettuce and the right amount of mayo ratio (which was important). The homemade lemonade was a treat. And I had the garlic fries--delicious! As mentioned, I'm still thinking about how good that sandwich was. The place isn't huge but they seat a lot of people. By the time I got home and realized their mistake, I called immediately. I even offered to drive all the way back to pick up the correct order myself. Their response was basically, "Too bad, the kitchen is closed." So let me get this straight: they make the mistake, charge me for food I never ordered, send me home with something I didn't want, and then refuse to fix it because they closed the kitchen. That's not customer service--that's taking someone's money and leaving them stuck with the consequences of your own mistake. A business should stand behind its orders and correct its mistakes. Instead, they chose the easiest option for themselves and left me paying for food I couldn't even enjoy. Completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I would strongly recommend others think twice before spending their money here.
