So I ordered nacho but they weren't able to add any meat and the kids meal tenders were very greasy. A manger never came by table to ask how anything was. The siding on the step by the bowling machines are coming off I almost tripped. Place has great prices and the food and bar were amazing. I love that it's so close to home and is still clean after months of being open. They have a variety of games; my faves are the Pac-Man 4 people air hockey, hockey foosball, and the mini bowling. We read some great reviews about GameTime so when considering several arcade/bars, we decided that this would be the best choice. Upon entering, we noticed it was pretty much empty, so we were surprised when it took the hostess about 10 minutes to seat us. In fact, we were about to walk out the door before he ran over. Once seated we were greeted by a server who took our drinks and then it was nearly 10 more minutes before he awkwardly delivered half and told my husband that they were out of the beer he had ordered. No biggie, but it took another 10 minutes for him to come back with the drink and take our food order. We weren't expecting much at this point. My kiddos ordered a pizza and chicken tenders, and I got the hot chicken sandwich. Oh my gosh! I don't know how they got their chicken so crispy and hot, but it was perfect. Our whole table was impressed. Next, we moved on to the games...no one was available to explain the difference between the two cards, so we chose the one we thought would work best for our 5 and 3 year olds. Only one accumulates points, and we know they like to pick a treat afterward so we went with that one (red I believe). After playing a few games, I realized we should have went with the unlimited play time blue card...my little ones were zooming through games in seconds, and each one took 6-10 "swipes". What to do on a rainy holiday weekend? Why, indoor games to the rescue! This is the Dave and Buster's of Ocoee... and although it is next to the less than savory West Oaks Mall it was clean and felt perfectly safe. Of course this place is still pretty new. First the cost, we chose to do the play by the hour option. $15 for an hour (see photo for other pricing) and each kid got a card to play as many games as they could in that hour. You are limited to only being able to play games with a BLUE card reader. So you can't earn tickets or try to win prizes- things my kids didn't care about anyway. The other option was to purchase a card with a certain number of credits but unlimited time to play. That option allows you to play any game. They have a nice selection of games. New games that require you to jump or run, racing games, two player shooting games, moving games, games of skill like skee ball/bowling/western shooting, giant pac man/space invaders/galaga and even two pinball machines. There are kiddie games and plenty for big kids too. They have several lanes of mini bowling which the kids loved. The hour flew by then we went to grab a table. I'd peeked in earlier and noticed plenty of empty tables so didn't think to even ask about being put on a list. When we were ready to be seated they said it was a 45 minute wait! And that's with half the restaurant empty! The hostess was nice and said the kitchen was backed up because of some big parties. Seems like poor management on a rainy holiday when you should expect it to be slammed. Food reviews on Yelp are not great so we drove 5 minutes down the street to eat, no problem. FYI- sign on the door says no outside food/drink. We had a graduation cake so probably best we went elsewhere. I've been to their Tampa location and they have more activities- putt putt, laser tag, bumper cars, etc but even still I would definitely come back to play here again. The kids loved it. This was our second time at this location. Our first visit wasn't worth coming back in my opinion. However friends of ours wanted to game so we gave it another try. This time around was a millions times better! From our wonderful, fun, friendly and out going bartenders. Brian and the sweet lady who worked with him to the delicious bar drinks they made it all worth it. The game floor was also better this time around. You can purchase game cards by the hour or a package deal. Game cards are priced individually and if you buy the one hour card you're game points do not count. So you won't be able to buy anything from the ticket winning counter. I'd recommend changing that. During football season the bar offers $5 dollar eats and drinks. Granted it's a limited menu but worth a try. We will definitely be back. read more

Wow. We were so excited to have a place close to home to eat and play with the kids. Unfortunately we made the mistake of coming on a Friday at 2pm to eat and play. We were sat quickly as there was only one other table. The gentleman who take care of us was nice but... We ordered immediately and waited 15 minutes for drinks. It took one hour, no lie, one hour for the food to come out. And to top it all off it came in waves. By the time the last bit of food came out the the person who received their food first was completely finished. We asked for a manager and it took him 25 minutes to come and speak to us. Once he finally came it felt like a blame game as he blamed the server. I just can't handle any of it! This place was a lot of fun. My son and I went here for lunch one day, there was no one in the place at that time but they're busier in the afternoon and at night. We had a nice lunch, the cheeseburger was very good. played some games together. My favorite is the mini bowling, so fun! The server and manager we're very nice, the bathrooms were very clean. Haven't eaten here, so reviewing games only. Sign up on their web site for some free game credits and occasional email offers. Game credits are truly free, not BOGO like D&B. Pretty good variety of games. They have 2 pinballs in excellent working order, which are getting hard to find these days; one is a rare Jersey Jack. The web site says they're there for a "limited time"; not sure what that means, they've been there since my first visit about a month ago. I will be sad if they take them out. Mini Bowling was disappointing. It costs as many credits as 3 or 4 arcade games, and only gives 5 frames! The pinsetters sometimes drop or miss pins; sometimes they'll recognize it and reset, sometimes not. A reset button would be nice. On SkeeBall, watch out for the machine that says "OUT OF TICKETS" on the backglass. It doesn't credit your ticket winnings. I asked one of the managers how a machine that doesn't dispense paper tickets could be out of tickets; he didn't have an explanation. read more

Had looked forward to visiting Game Time as sounded much like another franchise with a similar concept. We were the first of our party of 12 to arrive - a reservation having been entered earlier in the week as the dinner was to celebrate a birthday. The friendly hostess was welcoming and immediately led us to our table. Unfortunately, they only had set up seating for 11, with instructions from the hostess for two individuals to sit at the end of the table. We took it upon ourselves to move another four-top over in order to accommodate our entire party. As the rest of our party began to arrive, we ordered appetizers, which were delivered promptly and were piping hot. The entire table finished placing our orders by 6:30. At 7:20 PM inquired about our meals as had been 50 minutes since our order had been placed. Was informed by the server they were waiting to bring all the meals at the same time. Did inform her I had observed a party of 4 and another party of 5 (who ordered after us) had their orders taken, had been served, and one party already having left their table - yet we continued to wait Meals began to be served @ 7:31 - a total of 3 salads and 5 hot items. The 4 remaining individuals had their meals come out one at a time, with the last individual being served @ 7:51. Unfortunately they did not serve him as ordered, thus had to send it back twice before they got it right. Of note, our two entrees were tepid at best, with the French fries actually at room temperature and soggy, the French Dip almost room temperature, and the dip room temperature as well, indicating they had sat out for some time after being made. Incidentally, the birthday honoree was the second to last to receive their entrée. Other observations: one member of our party requested water three times, he finally cornered the waitress to inquire if she was going to bring the water or not. We had water as well and requested refills more than once- which were never provided.. To add insult to injury, even though we did not eat our entrees, we were charged full price. When I objected, they took off the two French Dips, however continued to charge for the onions and peppers (which we obviously did not eat as both entrees were returned to the kitchen). Overall, the general consensus at the table was none of our party of 12 would return After returning home, checked reviews for Game Time and noticed the food and service were a constant thread through the list of complaints. Truly wish we had read them prior to eating there. On the upside, the restroom was clean, there is an upscale feeling to the décor, however noticed the restaurant was less than half full (on a Friday night) and there were few individuals engaged playing the arcade games. I have been a long time customer of Floyd's and I was ecstatic to support a smaller local business and get top quality services for like old time neighborhood prices as opposed to a chain with their higher costs. For example the last three weeks I have had a 3 shaves, two haircuts, eyebrows trimmed, sculpted, and these guys take care of my heritage proclivities of hair growing where it really isn't supposed to. I had three interviews in the last three weeks and felt confident and clean shaven. This place is awesome! My family and I came here for my nieces birthday a week ago. Didn't know what to expect except that it was a place or the kids to play games and have some fun. My expectations were definitely exceeded when we ordered our food. Can I say just how amazing the food is?!! We were indecisive at first and were going to go to some of the other restaurants in the complex, but I am so glad I decided not to and so did everyone else. First of all, the pizza for nieces party was delicious. Then I ordered the nachos with no meat added and they were filling and delicious as well. Presentation was plus!My hubby ordered the seafood platter of grouper, calamari and shrimp and let me tell you, it could hold its own compared to any 5 star seafood restaurant. The breading was just right and the seasoning was on point as well. Another family member had the chicken wings and they looked very good and fried just right. The service was amazing as well. I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my first ever experience with Game Time in Ocoee, FL. My husband decided that he would like to visit this establishment for his birthday dinner because their menu looked good and we would have some teenagers with us, so the arcade feature was a perk. Being that we were going to be visiting on a Saturday evening as a party of six, we were sure to go online to schedule reservations. We scheduled reservations for 6:30 PM via OpenTable and were sure to note that we wanted to have a table, not a bar-height table, and not a booth, as we were going to be a group of six with mixed physical needs, ages, and so on. When I arrived to their location, I informed the employee at the counter that I had made reservations. He quickly checked his tablet and found my reservation in the system. He proceeded to grab menus and began to walk to a booth. I quickly stopped him and let him know that we had requested a table only, not a bar-height table, and not a booth. He turned and pointed towards the full bar-height tables and said it was going to be a long wait. I informed him for a second time that I did not request a bar-height table, but rather a normal table. He walked back to the counter and looked in his tablet again, this time seeing that there were in-fact notes in the system of my request. He then looks at me and tells me that he does not have a table for my group. Bear in mind that I am looking at multiple tables open in the far end of the restaurant. He proceeds to tell me that he can't give me a table because he has two birthday parties coming in at 7:00. I inform him that my group was there to celebrate my husband's birthday and that I had scheduled my table for 6:30 so why was I being turned away? He then informs me that because the parties coming in at 7:00 had booked birthday packages through them, that they were "more important" and "higher priority". So, what the heck was the point of making a reservation with you at all, I ask. He tells me that he didn't know that there was a section for special needs/requests for OpenTable reservations, so he didn't know that he needed to save a table for us. I point to a section where I see two half booth, half tables and ask if those can be put together and that way we could at least have half table seating. He again tells me no, he doesn't have the space to give us a table. At this point I am livid! This employee with his button-down shirt, which was sloppy and wrinkled by the way, in addition to his striped buzz-cut hair, was the rudest, most disrespectful, careless, unprofessional individual I have ever dealt with. I verified again that he was telling me that it did not matter that I had made a reservation, and that he expected my group to wait until the 7:00 parties had finished before my group and I could have a table. He had the nerve to say "yes". Needless to say, I decided to take my group elsewhere. Why would we spend and undetermined amount of time waiting around for other parties to finish and spend our money with a place of business that employs someone, who I think was a supervisor of sort, dear lord, and that would treat customers this way? No worries, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, and I will be sharing my experience on all social media sites, review websites, and so on, letting everyone know of the poor business practices this place operates under. Beware, and don't bother trying to plan a fun evening with your family here. read more

Rather new to the Ocoee area. This place is larger than life and has everything from food, dessert, beer and games. They also have the nfl Sunday ticket and have plenty of tvs to watch your favorite team win or loose. Durning football season the bar runs a $5 select ala cart menu and included on the list is a 24oz Sam Adams draft beer or a Rose angry orchard bottled. Game Time saved the day! After leaving from a horrific experience at a restaurant "Black rock" close by for my sons, all 24 of us got up and left. We decided to call game time and they were so accommodating for my large party. Angel the manager was great!! He quickly sat us within 10mins. Our server Carly was great. GameTime is slowly moving up my ladder. We had a rocky start but the kids love it. You really have to pay attention to the pricing and have a clear understanding of how long will you be here. Are you going to eat here? How long will you be here? These questions are important because of the pricing and ability to combine cards, with food purchased items. The staff isn't so helpful with creating a plan that works for your activities. You might find yourself sick to your stomach when you realize you could have received more game time with the purchase of dinner. Plan your day and utilize the menu and game time as one unit. You might find it's more beneficial to buy a card with time. That would work nicely if you know you you are only hanging out for an hour or so, no food. Your family might enjoy dinner, some menu items come with card points. I am mathmatically challeged so I really don't care figure menu, time and points. I buy the red card with the maximum points and call it a day. The games are up to date and fun for all. They actually allow you to win at the games of chance. I believe all the kids in our party of 12 won a sensory ball. Great place to let the kids run wild for an hour or so. Normally when I write a review for a restaurant I try to point what was good and what needed improvement. This time I'm just describing what a soul crushing experience I had at #GameTimeOcoee We made a reservation for 12 on mother's day 5/13/18 for 2:15pm. We were sat 45 minutes later from our reservation time which I considered an omen since our table had been empty for at least 30min. When we were sat, no one came to get our drink order so we wrote everyone's drink on a piece of paper and handed it to the waitress when she finally came. She still got the drink order wrong. My sister then proceeded to go to the server's station and grab utensils for everyone. At this time, we noticed that groups that had been seated after us had already gotten their drinks. By the 2nd lively conversation with the "manager", our table was abuzz with employees attempting to fix things by bringing pitchers of water with no glasses which meant we had to ask for glasses and then had to ask for straws and then had to pour drinks for those who didn't get any. It is worth mentioning that the water tasted like well water. Our order was taken and I thought everything had gotten back on track. Then the excuses came fast and furious: * The manager on the kitchen side had walked out and quit the night before * I work the game side and I'm only trying the help on the dinner side * The manager is here but he's staying in the back * I haven't been trained yet * There are a lot of moms that work here too * We are short staffed We eventually got some appetizers and then they brought out one meal for my sister. Later they brought out wings for one of the girls but she had order regular wings and they gave 3-alarm wings which caused her to scream because they were so spicy. I decided to lap the game area in hopes of finding my inner peace. When I returned, my sister was feeding the entire table her 2nd order of chicken and ribs (the first one was cold). I was thankful since my 6 year old had now been sitting there 2.5 hours with nothing to eat. The rest of the food came out in spurts with most of the orders consisting of undercooked pizza, raw hamburger, orders with the wrong sides, and orders with missing sides. In total, I spent 4.5 hours at @GametimeOcoee and landed up eating 3 nachos. I did refuse to eat my meal I got 3 hours later because of this strong urge I had to toss the plate across the dining room. In hindsight, we should have left. But on Mother's Day, it is difficult to find a restaurant that will sit 12 people. Also, #GametimeOcoee has a police officer stationed at the entrance causing us to feel trapped. God forbid we all just got up and left and had the officer called on us. The last thing I wanted to do on Mother's Day is to get arrested in front of my mother. Even when we said please bring us the check and let us pay so we leave, it took 45 minutes for them to come to our table to tell us that everything had been comped. What actually aggravates me is that this could have been easily avoided. I would have had tons of respect for @GametimeOcoee if they would have just said that we are having some staffing issues and it might take a long time for us to serve you. This would have prevented multiple arguments with servers and managers and calls and emails to the corporate office. I feel sorry for my family and the employees because we were all put in a no-win situation. I think everyone kept hoping that a manager would step up and take care of the situation but no one ever did. As I stated before, we did get are meal comped and we did get several $15 play cards. Will we ever step foot in #GametimeOcoee again? Not even if it was the last restaurant in the known universe. read more
