We were a group of 10. There were four girls ages 11 to 14 and six adults. We were returning from a gymnastics meet, and all of us were really hungry. As soon as we walked in, we seated immediately and it smelled so delicious. All of the girls ordered Belgian waffles with sides of bacon and sausage. The adults two ordered breakfast bowls, one order a burger, one ordered meatloaf, one ordered an Asian bowl with chicken, another ordered chicken, Caesar salad. Oatmeal came out within a minute or two of each each other. They were all hot and delicious. The girls emptied their plates first as they were starving and then relaxed and talked while the adults finish their meals. The restaurant was clean, warm and inviting as was the server. The service was quick. There was no rush and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. If you don't know what you're hungry for or not sure everyone will have something on the menu that they can order. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not be disappointed. I love the atmosphere here. They have a nice stage set up for bands & the food is pretty good. I like their grilled chicken Caesar sales with the cornbread croutons. I've been here quite a few times for the tribute shows. They've had some great acts like Elvis, 3 Doors Down/ Matchbox 20 & Steely Dan tributes. Rock 'N Rev is a new restaurant location that I believe recently took over the old gators dockside in Ocoee! Their menu is quite extensive, from Hearty pastas to wraps and wings! We came here to watch the UCF game on a Saturday and there was lots of folks there to watch the games so they had all of the TVs turned to the football game! The service is really good. They have a full bar so you can get any drinks, cocktails, mimosas, draft beers, etc. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with a side of fries. It was delicious! Their food options are very good. New restaurant located in Ocoee. We were looking for something easy and quick for dinner. It is located in the Publix shopping plaza down where the Gators Dockside used to be. When we arrived the front room was empty with a sign to head to the back to be seated. We were able to grab a table and the server came by pretty quickly. She was super friendly and did let us know right away they were a little short staffed and it could be a little longer than normal service would be expected to be. We were ok with that and appreciate the transparency before we even ordered. I opted for a chicken Caesar salad since I was not too hungry. The salad was the perfect size and the chicken was grilled perfectly. One of the kids had the wings - she said they were cooked perfectly and the other had chicken tenders and fries - she liked them as well. We really didn't feel the wait was that long for food or for service, but you could tell the server and the manager were both hustling. Will be back for another meal. They also have lots of TVs for sporting events and they had a line dancing class going on inside as well. Looks like they do some fun events during the week so check it out! read more

As an Ocoee native I've seen this space transform several times. Rock 'N Rev gives me small town vibes and I'm here for it. The staff actually greets you with a smile and you can feel the good vibes. We decided to come to rock and rev on Saturday for the UCF game. Prior to coming here, we actually called twice and confirmed with the staff that they were able to get the game on the TV. Again, we called twice. We showed up with a group of us to watch the game and we entered into the building where the front door was. We were a little taken it back because the door was almost an exit door and not really a comfortable entrance. There were ketchup bottles, laying all over and napkins everywhere as well, which gave it a more dirty feel. We walked in and was greeted by the hostess wind informed us that they did not have the game on at all and they would not be able to play it for us. The establishment was extremely quiet and had no other patrons here. It definitely gave us very weird vibes. read more

I was there at this new establishment for a private birthday party. Although the service was very friendly., my food entrée was so very bad, I only ate a little bit of it!!! I had the shrimp and grit cakes! Just how the hell do you screw up grits? I would say they tasted like wallpaper paste, but that would be an insult to wallpaper paste.!!!! The shrimp was way overcooked, and the so-called "Cajun" sauce had zero vegetables, no spices, and tasted like it was just Campbell's cream of mushroom soup!!! This a new rock and roll themed bar that opened about two months ago. I went in a Saturday evening without a reservation. When I arrived, I was greeted by a hostess, who asked if I wanted to sit in the area where the band is playing. I told her yes, and was seated in the main dining area near the band. The music was deafeningly loud. I saw the drink menu and was suggested by my waitress to try the Grateful Dead (11 dollars). It has various spirits like gin, vodka, tequila, and rum, making it a pretty strong drink. It was quite refreshing as well with the raspberry flavor and cherry on top. For my entree, I chose the Carolina BBQ chicken sandwich with coleslaw (about 13 dollars). It has a nice piece of grilled chicken with the BBQ sauce on top, with lettuce, tomato and onion. The chicken was grilled right and quite juicy too. It was wonderful with the BBQ sauce. The lettuce, tomato, and onion were fresh. It was a rockstar sandwich! The coleslaw was homemade, and could have used a bit more seasoning. However, I still really enjoyed it as the lettuce was shredded nicely on top of their mayo. My waitress was great. She has a friendly attitude, was very helpful, and quick in getting my food and drinks. I was in and out in less than an hour. The dining area is quite large, with one room having the bar, and the main dining area where the band plays. Looks like they have the live bands every Saturday, and it is mostly rock music. It was very loud, so if you want to enjoy your food in a quieter setting, best to eat near the bar. You will still hear the music in a very audible volume, but won't be able to see the band playing. I also saw some people offering free samples of Bud light, but I politely declined it. The bathrooms were clean. Rock N Rev is located in the Good Homes Plaza close to San Jose Mexican Restaurant and Takumi Ramen. There is a Publix as well, so you can go shopping after eating. I have been looking for another good bar after Bloodhound Brew closed, and this is definitely it. They food is great, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The live music is a huge plus as well, if only they just reduced the volume a wee bit. This is now my go-to restaurant for great and reasonably priced bar food in the Metrowest area. read more

We visited during the soft opening event on a Monday. The restaurant features some creative bar fare, is reasonably priced, and offers a decent variety of options. There are two rooms downstairs with bars--one has a stage area that already seems to have a good lineup for live music. There's also an upstairs area, but I didn't go up there. The positives: We received great service from bartender Brad, and the bruschetta was delicious. The negatives: There wasn't a drink menu, which may have been due to the soft opening. They also didn't have High Noons, and some portion sizes felt a bit small. Overall, I'm sure the issues will be resolved with time. Stopped by Rock & Rev to check out the new spot and had a great first experience. We tried the flatbread, bruschetta, and mozzarella bites--all came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. The flatbread had a nice crisp, the bruschetta was bright and well-balanced, and the mozz bites were the perfect comfort food starter. Brad behind the bar really stood out. First time we went there was for a Grease movie trivia night, thought it might be fun. The drinks were expensive and watered down garbage. Our waitress acted like we were an inconvenience and the service terrible. We stayed for the trivia and left. Thinking maybe it was just a bad night, we recently gave it a second chance and went back for a live band. We sat at the bar and were totally ignored by the bar tenders. They literally turned their backs on us like we didn't exist. We sat there for the longest time and my wife finally shouted can we please order a drink? One of the bar tenders took our order then walked away, never brought our drinks. He did return after awhile but still never made our drinks. My wife asked the other bar tender, she ignored us also and walked away. Finally a third person came out from the back, saw how frustrated we looked and made our drinks which were good but the night was already ruined by the lousy service. We were not taking a chance on ordering any food and left after one drink. Definitely no tip! Don't waste your time with Rock n Rev. I went there on 4/21 for their soft opening. I was very pleased. Our server, Sarah, was very attentive to my large party of 12. Make sure you try the clam chowder and Cole slaw. They are exceptional. Burgers are amazing. I'm also looking forward to when the bands start. They have a small dance floor, which is going to be fun for an old lady like me. The band will play early.
